Hello,
I'm talking about eroot method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219711
1) Does eroot unlock bootloader sometime during rooting?
2) How can I unroot the device after rooting with this eroot method?
Warm regards,
Maria.
Eroot will only root ur device
It absolutely will not unlock ur bootloader
If u want to unroot, eroot can do that too

Who rooted Xperia Arc (2.3.3 with last fw 4.0.A.2.368) using Z4ROOT 1.3.0apk? Did it work?
I believe Z4ROOT is an app that makes a temporary root on a phone that is bootloader locked, so you can access it's root area without the need to unlock it first. Is this correct?
Can someone tell his experience using Z4ROOT on Xperia Arc or post a tutorial on that?
Read the namaste guide, the sticky at the top of the page you've posted this on. ;-)

I guess Z4ROOT requires a downgrade and then OTA just like Gingerbreak then?
See my last post. ;-)

As per the title.
I recieved my Arc S after upgrading from an X10 a few days ago. I've read lots of threads and tried a few methods that appeared to work at some point for the LT15 with no luck!
Thanks in advance!

Is there any other way to root the Xperia Arc S? Like an app? I recently downloaded DooMLoRD's ics rootkit, but I was wondering if there was an app that could root a GSM phone running ics. Let's say I downgraded flashing the downgrade kernel ; could I use Gingerbreak to root my phone?
nope not possible. rooting is easy anyways
