It'll work. People have mod the Note with 128GB SDXC cards.
It should work. My Vision was rated up to 32GB card support and I got a 64GB card working in it.

It supports up to 48GB

It support's 64GB micro sd card also from the looks of it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1336961
Also I believe I had also seen a thread where someone use an adapter that combined 2 32micro sd card and it read that fine as 64GB. I believe the limitation for sd card support should be in how much Android itself can support.

Been running my 32gig for a couple months now. No troubles at all.
I tried to order the Note 2 with 32gb of int. Memory but was told that the only model available was the 16gb. Will T-Mobile have the 32gb model? I have the SGS3 with 32gb of int memory and want the same for the Note 2.
Thanks, Vinny

Since the device has a MicroSD slot, one option might be to purchase an expansion card for it. Even 64GB cards can now be had for around $60, and 32GB cards for less than half that.

That is NOT internal memory though and that's the letdown cause a lot of my games are 1.5-2gb for just one game and they can't be moved to sd without causing some type of issues... 32gb is the sweet spot of internal storage as far as I am concerned...
I agree. I I have a 16 gig i9300 and I run out of space quick because of games. I work for tmobile, so I will check and see and let you guys know

The new Samsung UHS-1 card are coming in two weeks which still be much more faster than the SanDisk ones. They will also cost double the price.
Where can I buy one online

sandisk flash memory is very reliable. i would take a wait and see on samsung memory card. not that samsung memory is bad, but it will cost a lot when it first hits the shelves. i have the 64 sandisk and it works very well so far.

$42 is still a good deal. it is usually around $60. there was a big commotion when it was goldbox deal @ $50 a few months ago. @$42 is still a good price to snatch it up.
Ebay has the sandisk 64gb class 10 for 50-65 dollars...
I'm wondering if we will need to format the 64GB to FAT32 before using?
It did for me

Nope. Note II work with exFat just fine.
My writing speed is only 8.5mb/s on that memory card
Accidentally sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2
I'm using a 64gb Sandisk. I formated it using fat32 so I could try out aosp custom roms, it works just fine. Will work with exfat just fine but you wont be able to use it in CWM and CM10 won't see the data.

I have the Sandisk which is fine for me. Still don't understand that my old Nokia N97 already had 32gb whereas the superduper quadcore hype devices of today are still stuck at 16gb internal memory. These should have been at 64gb stock. Ah well...

I have a sandisk one as well (class 10 sdxc). It's rated at about 30mbps vs the normal 10mbps. Works great so far.

Try to find ones that labeled UHS-1 (or UHS-I). If you want use torrents or others extremely high IO operations buy only ones with >40MB read/write specification (actual speed will be lower), otherwise stick with those with >20MB read/write.
ADATA has UHS-1 series 45MB Read/Write
SanDisk has UHS-1 "Mobile Ultra" 20MB Read/Write and UHS-1 "Extreme" 90MB Read/Write
List of course is incomplete, and all of UHS-1 labeled card also have Class10 label (because there is no higher Class)
Other that SanDisk "Mobile Ultra" will be expensive at 64GB and hard to find..
I've read somewhere Samsung micro SD 64gb is slightly faster than Sandisk one by a few mb/s transfer speed.
Ty for your answers peep.

I recently bought a 'SanDisk microSDXC Ultra Class 10 64 GB' and am very happy with it. I even managed to watch a 1080p movie with lossless DTS sound with it recently without even the slightest problem.
I also went with the Sandisk 64gb one, I formatted it in exfat with windows 7 and its been great for movies.
Great! Do u guys have an idea where i can get 1

I got a 64GB SanDisk that I formatted to FAT32 and it works perfect. If there's a MicroCenter near you then you could get a good deal on a micro sd. The SanDisk I bought was 55 at MicroCenter and 100 at BestBuy.
This one works for me:
http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter-SDSDQUA-064G-U46A/dp/B007WTAJTO
most people around here recommend the Samsung... because SanDisk had a bad batch of microSD cards... and even they accepted it... that said I have a SanDisk 64gb and it's working flawlessly so far...

I followed this method when I bought my sandisk ultra 64gb card. Somehow when I format with my PC it only recognizes it at 32gb. Tried with windows xp and windows 7 same result. Using the software below worked perfect.

Bought my sandisk sdcard from amazon also and have not had any issue with it. $50 would be good price for one but its probably more which brand you should get that you should ask.
Thanks guys.

Thankfully you're very wrong. I'm waiting for 128 GB MicroSDXC before I get a card though. GS4 supports exFAT, so any size MicroSDXC should work.

What ^^ he said.
$50-$60 (sub-40 quid if you're british) for a class 10 or UHS-1 64GB uSDXC card is a reasonable price. I still like SanDisk, they did have a bad batch before Christmas (and I unluckily got one) but they replaced very quickly with no fuss so they get my vote. I used amazon for my last one.
64 gig is fine for tonnes of music and photos, only time I'd want more is if I was taking my entire DVD collection everywhere with me.
128 Gig micro sd card on amazon for $130-$150.

I would recommend newegg or adorama.
Amazon's "Warehouse Deals" section usually has open-box/repack Sandisk and Samsung UHS-1 cards for a little over $40 and $50, respectively.

Yeah, I've seen the 128 GB full-size SDXC cards for quite a while now, but no 128 GB micro SDXC. Main reason I need all that space is my full music collection is around 75 GB, and I'd love to finally dump the old iPod classic and just have the whole collection on the phone. :good:
