Hi there. I have been searching for sine days now. I can find lots of threads regarding this, but none og them helps me.
Is it possible to use the HTC Remote app on a custom rom. The rom i am using is cyanogenmod 10.1.
I have apk`s for the TV app, but cannot get it to work.
Thanks in advance.

No, since the app needs the sense framework to run. there is a 10dollar app you can get on the play store that does the same thing though

Recently I found a thread here in xda about the new notifications for the X phone.
The app is available in the Google Play Store and I would highly recommend buying the in app premium features to get the full effect if you will of the notifications.

There is also an ALPHA and BETA testing program if you are on Google plus for this app.

Please try it out!

Tried it out earlier this week but didn't love it. DashClock fits me a little better even though they aren't the same thing.

Had it for about a week or so now. I actually like it and it doesn't drain much battery

This one works on Moto G and it records both ways (but I'm not sure if there is a free version)

Umm, not sure what you mean by from the line. When I get a call or do one, it records the whole conversation.
The quality is quite good so I think it is directly from the audio and not just whatever it can detect from the mic.
Have a look at his thread

Yeap I'm sure (at least it works fine on my UK 4.3 16GB one.)
Try the app in xda before thinking on buying it

I recorded many calls with my moto g 4.3 . any call recorder from playstore will work and record directly from the line with very good quality. The problem is as soon as i upgraded to kit kat 4.4.2 us global and activated ARTS; now all call recorders stopped to work and only way to record calls now is with speakerphone and mic wich sucks. If anyone can make callrecorders record from line running kit kat please share

I also can't find working call recorder for Android 4.4.2, all works only on my side.
Another Call Recorder works fine for me. There is a free version.

I just change the audio format to AMR. The other options stay in default. Need you a screenshot of a specific setting?

@Psychoferno i tried this, but ACR still can't record.
That's my recording settings. Works fine in my moto g.

The only apk that works (in theory) is callrecorder, but you have to be rooted and on a CM rom. Settings are Moto X and CAF. Please test it if you can and share results.
Best Regards
So, CallRecorder v1.5.3 alpha4 really works :victory:
mp3, and also amr works (tested)
Stock Android 4.4.2 with root and CAF and Moto X settings

Does skype work with this phone? Or am I just not finding how to make vidwo calls?
Sent from my LG-E980 using xda app-developers app
You're just not finding the button lol.
It could also be ROM related. What are you running and do you have video calls enabled in Skype's settings?
