Hey guys i just bought a 3000mah extendend battery from ebay,
Is anyone interrested in pictures ?
I will post a small review here later, its charging right now
I would be interested in pictures. I'd also like to know how many hours you got with the stock battery and then how many you get with this new one (based on your typical usage).

The latter would be usefull. But doesn't this belong in accessories forum? I believe there is an extended battery thread there already.

how did things go? 3000mah is the much thicker battery
This will be a quick one.
My battery is starting to be a bit rubbish, so I am looking at getting a new, higher powered one.
I have found these on ebay that look ok, but I wanted to throw it out to u guys to see if any of u have bought them.....
2100mAh 100% GENUINE SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 i9300 BATTERY 2100mAH NFC FIT GALAXY S3 GT-i9300
2300mAh SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 SIII i9300 HIGH CAPACITY Li-ION SMARTPHONE BATTERY
2850mAh GOLD 2850 mah SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 i9300 Li-ION SMARTPHONE BATTERY
3800mAh 3800mAh High Capacity Battery for Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300
I don't want to go for one of those super high power, double size batteries, cos I like the fact I have a slim phone.
I've had many bricks in the past and I do not want to turn my nice slim S3 into an old Nokia size brick, lolz.

Maybe gives you some more options.

I have also been wanting to replace my battery, I just wanted to ask which of the original battery is better i have seen :
cell made in Japan assembled in China
cell made in Korea assembled in Vietnam
cell made in Korea assembled in china
Made in China
Made in Korea
Im sure there are others. I would guess anything made and assembled at same plant would be best, please correct me if im wrong.
You get what you pay for, I pay for a warranty I can trust as cheap batteries are too dangerous.
There's also a specific section for accessories.

I get that, totally, and I have been looking at batteries, not their prices, if u know what I mean.
Jut wondering if anyone has had any dealings with these batteries.
Also, I know there is a accessories sections, but this was a question, so I asked it in the Q&A section.
I have only ever used Anchor battery and found them faultless .
Their was a post in Accessories at one time .

Anchor or Anker? I also use Anker, just had a problem with my set of year old ones starting to swell -they replaced them both without quibble.

I looked on their site and only found a 2200mAh battery, the bigger ones are double sized with the retrofit back plate.
Stock battery is only 2100mAh, so the Anker one isn't that much better =/
If the battery fits inside the standard back plate then it is the same capacity (or even less) as the standard battery, it's physically impossible for it to be any greater. Any advert saying a higher capacity for the same size is lying, so avoid.
Main point about the Anker is having two batteries, so you charge outside the phone and always have a fully charged spare to hand.

I'm not going to question ur knowledge about this, but how can u have different mAh "AA" batteries, that are all the same size in that case??
I don't want to have to carry around a second battery with me all the time, this is why I was looking at different bigger capacity batteries =/
You can buy AA batteries in many different forms, alkaline, NiCad, Li-ion etc. Each has a different power density, with Li-ion being the highest. Standard S3 batteries are already the highest density so can't be bettered, if it were that easy then Samsung would have already done it.
The only way to get more capacity is to increase the physical dimensions, don't take my word for it try Wikipedia.

S4's battery isn't much bigger, but capacity is much higher.
Personally I carry two slim zerolemons charged at 40% with me all the time.
me and wife have zerolemon 2300 in our gs3's, fit under original back door and they come with 180day warranty. only downside is no NFC. But to me its the Best 20 buck investment ive made as far as accessories lol.

I've found the zerolemon 2300mAh batteries on eBay, HERE and I have also done some web searches about them, they look pretty good and I haven't found any bad reviews. 200mAh bigger than stock, and tested to be that capacity too, so must be true. I'm thinking of going for these, will just have to get a US to UK plug adaptor to go with the charger, lol.

? No, you weren't at all rude -I wouldn't suggest anyone accept 'internet advise' without cross checking it against something else.
The batteries you've chosen have a modest claim for capacity so are probably genuine. Only drawbacks are the limited warranty and return postage, if ever required. The desktop battery charger I have looks identical, plugs into a standard micro usb charger so you might not need an adaptor.
Has anyone ever tried the momax battery ?

Add my vote for the ZeroLemon 2300's. I've been using one for a while and it's great.

I've had very good experience with the ZeroLemon 2300 too.
Very good battery life with Carbon ROM.
My friend is also using the Zerolemon battery, I'm still doing fine with my stock battery.
So the quest to lengthen the GNex's battery life continues for me (this has been going on since too long now). For stability sakes, I have returned to 4.3 from 4.4.2 and battery life certainly is better on the former than the latter. However, I was searching to see if there are any extended (but of the same size as the OEM one) batteries out there from third party manufacturers. I ran into this one from MPJ Batteries.
Has anyone here ever heard of this brand before and or better still, bought the battery linked above?
Any suggestions (except those pointing towards a change of phone or that fat batteries) are most welcome and eagerly looked forward to.
Help me out guys...
Anyone?

I have bought the one from MPJ a few hours ago. It seems to be a well-known brand of extended batteries and I saw quite a few positive reviews for it from users of other phones like S4, S3, Note series and the likes.
I will post a mini-review here as and when I do receive the battery, which should be anywhere from 20-40 days.

Hi
I'm having trouble with my Galaxy Ace 2's battery life. I googled today and found 4000 mAh with back cover http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-4000mAh-Extended-Battery-with-Cover-for-Samsung-Galaxy-ACE2-GT-i8160-Phone-/290957031326 , but didn't found any user reviews.
Also i found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2800mAh-High-Capacity-Battery-for-Samsung-Galaxy-S3mini-i8190-ACE2-i8160-/151537348944 and i like it more (because it uses original back cover)
Anyone has experience with this or something similar?
Does it have power for a long time or loose it after month of usage?
Thanks in advance
Soko
Edit: if this is wrong section, i would ask moderators to move thread

I have bought Hinorx 1750 mAh battery, but it's temporary solution...
I need one of those two if they aren't fake or worst quality on the market
Well... I had 800mAh battery on my old Nokia and (I don't know why bought a "brand new, ultra, mega, hyper" battery.... with 4000mAh... I don't know how naive I was these days (as my laptop did have only 3700mAh battery ;D
And... the battery I bought for my mobile lasted only few hours (with NO activity) in comparison to single day for the OLD and USED battery so... after alll I bought a genuine Nokia 800mAh which was much better.
At this moment I really don't trust batteries for mobiles saying they have few thousand mAh of capacity... (just compare the sizes to the batteries in the laptops
I do not recommend buying anything suspicious and by suspicious I mean everything more than 10-20% of your original battery capacity.
@wolfensg thanks for your reply
i bought 1750 mAh Hinorx battery...
manufacturer says that after 3-5 charging cycles battery will reach it's full potential... so, i will do it and post results if anyone needs that info
btw, battery is about 10€ so i dont expect so much
