Hey guys. I really like zooper, but the widgets dramatically shrink when I go from landscape (default) to portrait on my tablet.
The nice big clock I make ends up becoming really small when orientation changes. Is there any way around this? I tried searching for landscape stuff but haven't been able to find anything.
Any help would be appreciated

I run CM6 Nightlies and love it ADW launcher is nice, i like how customizable it is, and it being open source is a plus as I am looking to modify it a touch. Currently running a 6x6 grid with a 180 LCD Density (as low as i would like to go, dont want to squint to read my phone). It looks great while in Portrait (normal) mode, but when you go landscape i lose the titles to all my widgets/shortcuts. What i'm proposing is when you go into landscape setting you leave the icon alone, but move the title, well rotate the title 90 deg. I say to the right but either direction would work possibly with the option of choosing the side and the orientation (text read up or down) of text of the title. this would allow me to see the title of my widgets while in landscape mode without lowering my Density to an unusable/undesirable value.
If this feature is available on another launcher excuse my ignorance. If however this is an option lacking in the android community I would gladly throw a few bucks your way if you feel like programming the code, I would but my vast knowledge of Q-Basic programming (Thanks highschool for teaching a ancient language) does me little good for writing this code.
I'm sure there's more of you out there that would like to see something like this.
I mean, I understand why the background auto-rotate when we tilt the phone. When accelerometer detect the phone tilt, the screen tilt and the background tilt w/ it. And that's kinda make sense. But, the problem is when you have a tight crop person as a background, and set the background to be non-scrolling. Then I think it's obvious that the background want to be set static in a certain way. Currently I have not found a way to lock the background wallpaper. I mean as I rotate the screen I want everything else to rotate and get landscape/portrait UI as necessary, but the background remain the same whether portrait or landscape. Well, I have yet to found a way. The only thing I came across is to disable accelerometer, but that's not very a solution. Anyone know how to do this?
Thank you,
The only thing I can think of is to find an app on the market that will manage your wallpapers for you. I know they have apps that will set a seperate wallpaper for each homescreen, so maybe there's one that allows seperate wallpapers for both portrait and landscape.
As far as finding a checkbox in Android to do this, there isn't one.

Hi I've been trying figure out how to port the smooth screen transition between portrait and landscape mode (as seen on the moto atrix, ipad/iphone, honeycomb, ICS etc..) but to no avail. Never been a fan of the hard transition between portrait and landscape, would prefer a smooth flip. Thanks!
Its been proposed before, search before posting
I did and didn't find anything
Then you didn't search well enough...
Nevertheless, heres the link

Hi all,
I wanna have my G3 use a two-pane layout whenever possible, in landscape mode. The way the Nexus 7 does it - flip to horizontal, you have 2 panes. Back to portrait - you have the regular phone UI with 1 pane etc.
I was wondering how to achieve this.
My phone's rooted and has Xposed installed, I tried App Settings and changed the DPI for some apps but the fonts just become tiny and unreadable at lower DPIs, and still I get no tablet mode in landscape nor portrait.
I tried a module called Phab7 but it didn't quite work.
Thanks!
Hopefully someone can help me past my trouble - my SM-P600 is rooted, still on 4.4.2. When I first set it up and rooted it, I dug around on the forums and figured out a way to set different wallpapers for landscape and portrait. Now, after having to replace my SD card that went bad, the portrait orientation picture is gone, and I can't for the life of me figure out where or how I set up the different portrait mode wallpaper- it's just black/no wallpaper in portrait mode now. I didn't use a 3rd party app, either. Anybody out there know where or how to specify a separate wallpaper for portrait vs landscape viewing???
