Guys, just a quick request.
I bought my P6 some weeks ago, got it already with the B120 firmware, installed Hyd52Rom V5 and TWRP for JB.
I think my battery is draining too fast, I can't watch more than 2 hours of some movie before dropping to 5% from 100%.
So, I came here hoping to install B125, allegedly more battery friendly, and KitKat + TWRP for KK. But the respective project pages are confusing on what I must have prior to the installations.
So, can I install B125, KitKat and TWRP on my current specs without any risk? As I said, my current specs are B120 firmware, Hyd53Rom V5 and TWRP for JB.
If so, whats is the correct order of install?
Thanks in advance.
So, no one?
Revert to stock recovery, update to kk beta using local update, flash twrp kk through adb, reboot to twrp and flash gapps

You have to get an unlocked bootloader first, which means you will have to get a Chinese firmware (B118CN, B120CN or KK Beta...). KK Beta is the safest way to go if you want to go to custom roms.

That's what is confusing. I'm on B120 already, but what I really want is the B125. So, there is no way to install HYD52ROM with B125?

Ok, installed B125 and rooted. I was able to install CWM in order to install TWRP as it's required. Got into CWM and selected the package I downloaded from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2534420.
I downloaded the 2.1 and 2.0 versions. It installs fine, but when I select reboot from CWM it says my ROM may reinstall the stock recovery and asks if I want to fix it. First time I selected "No" and there were no TWRP, only stock recovery. Second time I selected "Yes, fix it", and TWRP is still not installed, so it doesn't matter what I do, it only reboots to stock recovery...
Tried this 10 times, 5 with each of the versions.
Any ideas?

I'm really sorry, but I never used this method. I usually flash custom roms coming from kk beta. So I wouldn't know. I just gave you a link I found. Do you have an unlocked bootloader?

Ok, everything is fine now. The thing is, the projects pages are very confusing, and I didn't see we must restart the phone pressing Volume+ or Volume- a couple times when powering up the cellphone to boot into TWRP.
Someone ought to organize the projects pages better...

I think you should contact the developer, FreeGee has an active thread in the Android Development Section, and the dev is very helpful there, by the way it will be helpful if you also mentioned what kind of device you have, ie. E980.

i already tried to install older version and read all over the forum...
problem is after i skip the LG security and try to install it says "yay" in the end but when i reboot into cwm recovery it shows up some android laying on his back with red thing from his belly lol....
If you are on stock and rooted, did you try TWRP (hacked and non hacked) to see if you can flash another rom? Also did you go back to stock using LG Flashtool or a flashable rom?
Edited: just saw in another post you are using LG-E980H a10. Where is that from?

I havent tried this but it could be possible. you need unlocked bootloader for this. update to the new 4.3 update, then flash a custom kernel from 4.1.2(one with cwm), boot into recover mode and click reboot phone. it will say "phone not rooted, root now?" click yes and it shall put SU files in /xbin. flash back to stock 4.3 ernel and then download supersu or superuser from play store to manage root apps - dont need a app like this for root, permission is automatically accepted without this app so you dont nesseserily need it. this worked for my stock 4.1.2 ROM and in theory should work for 4.3. I havent tested it yet but because i havent updated yet but i will test in the next 1-2 hours when i get a chance

Hey There,
I've installed Pac-Man Rom on my P6 (Android 4.2.2). There are actually some bugs with this Software, so i can't see video streams on Facebook (directly stops after click on play).
I've seen there is an Update from April but i'm not able to install it. TWRP installation aborted and via GooManager the same.
What can i do to get the newest version with maybe less bugs?
Thanks a lot! Greetings
Can you tell us step-by-step what you did to update the rom?

Ive downloaded the new File manually to my Phone, rebooted to TWRP and installed it. There was an Error (I think it was something like "the signature is wrong"). So i rebooted the Phone and it stops at the Huawei Logo. No chance to repair it. I had to reinstall the older version of Pac-Man via Fastboot and (thank god) i've made a backup before installing the update, i was able to restore the phone.
Then i've tried to install the Update via GooManager. But this programm sends me to Recovery to, so i didn't try to install the new file once more.
Thats what i've tried till now. Because of the bugs in my installed Version i think it would be nice to use the new one.
Greetings and Thanks!
We don't have official Pac. See Surdu's thread in Original Development.

Did you try to re-download the rom and re-flash it via TWRP?
Sent from my P6-U06 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yes i did, the same happened. I've flashed the older version immediately so that i didn't have to reinstall and restore all once more
The only explanation is that the zip is corrupted. Did it say the signature was wrong or signature verification failed?
Sent from my P6-U06 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
yes it does. I redownloaded it and tried again with the same results... I think i will wait for the update to 4.4.2, hope it will be there in a few weeks... You're using it on P6 to?
I used it while I was still on JB. No problems like yours. Maybe try a different SD card ( borrow from a friend ).

Hello again,
I've bought a New card. The Same problem. Now ive read that i need the twrp Version 6.2.3.3. But i cant install the update. I tried to install the new version via cwm, after the installation it says update completed. The next start of twrp there is the old Version 6.2.3.0 again.
Now i don't know what to do...
Is there anyone who has an idea?
Greetings!

No dice. Rebooting to recovery even with that just leaves me staring at the boot image.
EDIT: I remember reading that those who took the KitKat OTA got a different boot image that makes going back to Jellybean difficult, if not impossible. Could that have anything to do with this?

Guys KEEP IN MIND:
These are not officials, these are fairly beta builds. You will get errors, I was hoping this would reach some crack-flashers.
That's basically who this is for.

How can we get onto official CM then?
I know it has something to do with the kernel. We can't downgrade the kernel to the one CM is using? Or we have to wait until CM move up to kernel 3.4?

The latest Nightly is from February, which is 4.4.2.
Honestly keep checking that website, and check XDA.
Since the bootloader has been unlocked there should be a lot of movement / action in the dev section.
I would honestly not flash anything older, I mean feel free to mess around w/ kernel that are newer than 4.4.2 on CM.
I can't promise anything if you're on stock. I hope that helped at least a bit.

Thats why everything is on chinese, thats the first kitkat beta firmware that leaked, if you want english you can upgrade it to B510 or B511 since those are the official english ones without the chinese crap.
