Hey, i know what you mean. its just to boring and simple a change is needed. And i have a solution.
Go to the market and download "Go SMS Pro" trust me, you will never need another SMS apk ever!!! there are sooo many features and themes. Its also Highly customizable so you can have that black and white theme your after.
generally I'M not a "stock fan", but the stock dialer digits, are big and and practical

the HTC dialer is grate!with big digits....is there a solution?....all dialers I'v tested are cool...but the No. are too small

I would ask all the developers if is possible to modify the standard android dialer adding T9 Multi lang search for contacts (like MIUI dialer / YOULU / DIALER ONE). Could someone create a flashable zip?
I am using the Dialer One...but it is sooooo slow comparing the stock dialer

Hey guys recently i flash CM latest build. I found the dialer white themed. bt i love the black one.
is there any way to get that black dialer??
Has there been any new developments as to how to change the color on the dialpad to a dark theme like on the picture I attached? The white dialpad is just not my style.
Is the only option to root and then flash an international rom to get the dark theme?

Get another dialer from Google Play. Many give you customizable options.
Just search fro DIALER.
I use RocketDial myself. It's fully themable. I have also used GoContacts. Same deal. There are about 20 others that all do the same thing. It's just a matter of finding one that fits your style.

Most pictures I've seen of KitKat have a black dialer. Come on T-Mobile, don't screw us over again and give us a white one when the upgrade rolls out. =)
