I want to ask a question about Kitkat. I keen on using Kitkat rom, but I hesitate because of Instagram video upload problem in this rom. I can't upload videos in this rom. It keeps crashing every time I want to post one. This is the only issue that makes me crazy about this rom. I can handle Instagram application about picture/photograph, but video section has problems. You guys may think this is not a big problem, yet in my own opinion, this is a frustrating problem. Do you guys think this problem can be solved with next release of rom or can you give me suggestions about overcoming this video upload problem? If someone try to help, I appreciate! First ill like to say thanks for taking your time to read this thread but I'm having a very weird issue ever since I downloaded the warm z rom the app tango hasnt been able to switch cameras to ffc but my vignette camera app works both cameras help please
You might want to post in the Warm-Z thread, and/or also mention in your title that your problem is with Warm-Z. Not Tango on every single ROM.
Furthermore, if you want help, include info. Which ROM/Nightly version? What hardware version? What kernel? Which version of Tango? Do you have this issue on other ROMs? etc.
hey, guys! i'm on cm7 beta 6, and it works perfectly fine, except the camera. whenever i start taking pictures, after a few pictures the preview turns grey, the camera app freezes, and it doesn't save the picture taken to the sdcard. after killing the app and restarting it, everything seems fine but when i try to take a pic the same thing happens again. anyone having the same issue or an idea on how to solve it?
please, help me, it's really annoying!
Hi, we cannot help you, its a bug that still needs to be fixed.
Please don't use development versions if you don't have the time
or knowladge to help yourself.

there are some bugs that can be fixed with a patch (e.g. auto-brightness), thats why i asked. and this forum is about people with knowledge helping other people, so that they can do what they could never do on their own. cheers
Hi ya'll, I'm having some pretty iritable problems with instagram on my desire z, I can snap pictures allright, but when they are processed they always come out with some green stuff on the picture, anyone know how to fix it?
Thankfull for answers, and I hope someone know how to fix this.
(And I'm sorry if my english isn't 1oo% perfect, not my native language but I do my best woth what I can. Also my first post.)

Are you running a custom ROM? Most (all?) of the ics/jb ROMs have issues with third-party camera apps.

With just bout any ICS rom (except maybe Virtuous Infinity, which is painfully slow right now), any app other than the stock camera app the rom comes with, will usually exhibit problems on the image (corruption etc). This is normally true of any '3rd party' apps on those roms.
The work around would be to snap the image with your main camera app, and then import it into instagram from the gallery.

I am running CyanogenMod 10 Nightlies 4.1.2. I noticed the photos i take with the stock camera app cannot be seen. The photos seem to be fine when i use a third party app (Pudding camera).
Is this a known issue? i am just asking around to confirm if its a problem with the ROM and not an outcome of my stupidity. Otherwise its a brilliant ROM. thanx.

No, it's not a known problem, at least I don't have it.
They don't appear at all in the gallery app?
Go to application manager (rough translation)
Clear data from these apps:
Gallery
Media storage
Then reboot and you should be fine.

Hey I have a simular problem...when I snap a photo its stays completely black...can't see or even use it in another application. Using Jellybean 4.2.2 and switched to 4.1.2. Tried clearing data same issues picture just shows up place when I try to look at it it closes the app. Can anyone assist me....(yes I know I am a noob and the answer is somewhere but I cannot find it) I am capable just don't know much about the camera issue.

Solved the problem...installed and factory reset a couple times and when i was ask to put location of picture I said no
Loving this rom and the only problem I have is my contact photos are extremely small when receiving or making calls. Anyone know how to change it back to where the photo is stretched like touchwiz ?

You should direct your bugs or questions of this rom to theyre xda post as you will get many more answers faster but its to my understanding that theyre having many issues with v3 and they should have an update to address these issues here really soon I have that same issue im just waiting for the update
