Android v4.3
I started modding the DUX theme I found for the Galaxy S4. Right now, its base is the DUX, but I've Modded a lot of the icons and things you see a lot while using your device throughout the day. Notification icons. Status bar icons. Power menu icons. Framework background. Etc.
I've also changed some user app icons that you may use. If you use these apps and want them Modded as well, before you flash the zip you must convert those apps to system apps from within titanium backup, or whichever app you'd like.

There is also an icon change for the dark version of gmail I have installed from the dbmods aroma installer.
Will mod more as time passes, and I'm going to try to figure out how to avoid converting them.
I'm continuing to build this theme, and plan on having Modded it in its entirety within the next couple months.

Very nice. Ima sucka for those glassy popup images and colored icons. Its the same way I do my themes. Great job Saint.
Theme is looking great. Very nice work! Icons are sharp and well defined.
Driving mode and blocking mode notifications are white when enabled. Maybe a little less clear on the notifications backdrop and some options in switching keyboard colors and backgrounds.
This being a BETA thread, I thought I would mention these for improvement in the future.

Yes I know, size of the icon files, if you have a different set of signal bars you'd rather have, on any device, just give me a link where to find them and I'll make you a fix.
However, I think it makes it look like the L and T are yellow and green sorta. The look of the signal bars is too nice though. Especially with a similar color blue battery.

From what I can tell, the ones you have right now say
Stat_sys_battery0
stat_sys_battery_anim0 etc etc
but you have to put a tw behind all of them first.
Tw_stat_sys_battery0
you should be able to group select on a computer and rename 100 at a time, so all you have to do is edit each name a little bit.
I just don't feel like sitting there and doing it all myself on my s4. Once you've got them named correctly, it'll take me a couple min to make the zip for you.

Is anybody using the theme on the ttorrent app? Mine isn't green anymore, wondering if anyone else has same issue.
Is anybody even applying the theme to the converted user apps? I'm wondering if I should continue themeing user apps if people don't want to convert them to system apps.
Does anyone know if it's possible to flash onto user apps while keeping them user apps? When I try with my zip, it themes them, but you can't use them... They do stay on the device like you should be able to use them, but they're not in the app drawer after the flash.
Idk if I just have to change some code in the binary script or something first...

Open Titanium Backup
Find Power Amp
Click & Hold,
Choose convert to system app.
Reboot into recovery
Flash my theme.
Your not really changing anything when you convert the app to a system app. They have to be for my theme to work on those specific apps
THEME WORKS JUST FINE WITH OR WITHOUT USER APPS MENTIONED IN OP.

Hello,
I made a theme for myself but since more people than I expected like or use it I'll share it here.
Introduction
I liked the light blue stock samsung has but I find that they went to far with all the colors everywhere that it looks too busy and cheap. Because of a lack of inspiration I couldn't think of a good name for it.
I'm still trying to edit some images but lack the inspiration or skill to do those. So I'll post an update here if something changes.
Install instructions
All have been tested or reported working on docs jpu/jpx/jpy, darkyy's jpu/jpx, jim_panse jpu/jpx and webstars jpu/jpx roms. These zips are ment to be flashed with CWM I assume all users are familliar with flashing custom zips with CWM. It may work by installing it another way but I haven't tested that and CWM is easy and it works.
Make sure you pick the right version for your rom. Some people have flashed these on other roms. It may work but I haven't tested it.
To be safe always make a back-up or have another working theme on your sd so you can flash that if something goes wrong. Theming is not the most dangerous thing but if 1 image is named incorrectly or your rom is incompatible it may not boot anymore.
The first boot after you flash this can take a long time. And I mean a really long time. This doesn't mean its stuck at boot. After that it will boot at normal speed and future updates should also boot faster.
If there is a problem and it does get stuck at boot the phone will vibrate multiple times during the glowing S logo and eventually will go black. If you have that problem then flash your backup, a working theme or your rom again.
If you have issues after the install try to clear the dalvik cahche from recovery.

If you have suggestions to make it better let me know. Can't promise I can do/like it but I will look at it.
Also if someone can think of a good name for this theme, I can't think of any now.

Using files for your own theme
If you are going to make a theme and post it here you are free to use some files from this theme. If it is a small number of images you can take them. If you are using a lot from it then you are still allowed to use it (would be nice to ask) but at least leave some credits and don't deny it (you know who you are ).

Personally I don't like the coloured icons there. But I've had this request before so I can make an small update which gives them colour. I'll make an seperate update of it for people who want colour. I think I can have it done later this week with other small updates.

The first one is battstatt and the second is clockr. Both are in the market.
I haven't tested on jpm roms. People have tried this and other themes on different roms and sometimes it works. You can try of you have a backup and the know how to fix things if it doesn't.

You can download all the icons from that link. And use them in launcherpro or desktop visualizer. Or did you ment something else?

Hi R64, tested the JPO ver. on BUJP8 base. It works but some texts were not right. Like notification it appears #6##d, the clear button in notification appeared ongoing and some other random madness. Aside from that, it's working great.

I made a new one for BUJP8 based on a working theme for that rom. I haven't tested it yet so consider it a beta. If you have a backup/revert you can try it but I can't say if and how it works.

You can put the icons anywhere as long as the gallery/mediascanner can detect them. Then just long press a icon in launcher pro and select change icon.
does this theme include the extended menu? must i install the extended menu first b4 i flash this theme?
On all the roms I've tested it with they have the extended menu.

I'm using the asop jpo theme on jp8. Works fine. Maybe you can put in the startpost if the jp8 has asop or default lock screen.

They are bigger than my older version from before 24-11-10 because I've added some themed apps. So that the musicplayer, gmail, mediascanner and settings use the same theme. With the next update I'll post them seperately.

This is finished, there will be no more tweaks done to this. maybe if i notice something which could do with a little touching up then i will do or get the help to do so. But this is something which i got done for myself and just thought for all the other people who may be looking for what i was then here it is for them to use and hope you enjoy

hey yh thats not standard font. thats just one of the extra system fonts you can change in settings. inless you change it like i did then it will all be in normal system font

you can use just the dialer. i did before? the only time i get force close is after someone rings me but it dont matter cause it happens after the call lol
Using just the dialler on darkys 8.0, looks great but lots of bugs and fc after call as said before. If a dev could fix and incorporate into a rom or working it would be fantastic.

totally agree. although the themes contacts and dialer is pretty much exactly the same but black rather then transparent background. thats what im using now cause of the bugs in the transparent one, try it out

Downloading now, only slight gripe is, and it's probably because you're from Essex, but........that S and texture in the notifications drop down makes it look like a poxy XR3i

Hi guys, I took a break from xda and theming for a short time due to moving and other reasons but now things have calmed down, I thought Id come back and release my themes in one thread....

To flash the theme ....
copy zip file to root,
reboot into recovery,
clear cache and dalvik
Flash ..
ALSO ---
When you flash the theme it makes a backup for you
If you want to revert back then ....
Reboot to Recovery ..
Navigate to Universal themes ..
You should find your backup in there ..
Simply flash it back
Note, that it takes awhile to flash, just leave it to do its thing ...Oh its also in spanish but it does the job

Im taking a little break today ..you would not believe how many hours Ive been theming ..I worked straight through the night to have black chrome ready

Well I certainly didnt get them from your theme ...maybe the person I got them from did but I always ask permission ...You only have to look at this thread to see that ..
You could of PM'D me over this matter ..
Anyway ..I didnt know, If you want me to remove them I will ...its just 3 png files ..and I will re theme it different ..I'll pull down the screen and links to the theme..

great work so far like ur seems ... currently running gt blue on lightning 6.1 with rage 1.1a ... no probs so far! just gonna watch how it goes on (24hours since flash)

While its true Ive had to pull the chrome theme ...hopefully having chrome keys now ...it looks like the servers are down to an overload of traffic ...probably all downloading chrome theme hahaha ..

I had managed to download the chrome theme just before you pulled it
i installed it on top on villainrom 2.4.2, but I have now lost all my icons on my screens, like ALL OF THEM, lol.
Installed it via CMW, hope that was the right way... cleared cache, cleared dalvik... but now I end up with this problem...
Can you advise what I can do to restore my icons, like all 7 screens are blank now ...

The icon in the app drawer or the homescreen ?
In cwm natigate to .....universal theme folder ...you should find the backup in there to flash back ..
Today is going from bad to worse ..

You could try to ask on neatrom thread, there are a lot good moders there.
I will from my side have a look in bitfor. It must not be very complicated to achieve.

BTW, i just googled your request, and there are plenty of guide here on xda to do it. It is just one line to change in the statubar expanded xml in systemui.
If you are a little aventurous and curious you could do it yourself.
I 'm gonna try on monday on my rom.
Edit: on sammy rom, it seems that some smali mod are involved too.
Gonna try the first way, but i won't mess the smali code as it would break my theme.
actually i dont even knw abt codes....xml...editing... and all this stuff ....

it use the system files of NeatRom only, so no compatibile for others, unless you ask Churapa on Neatrom thread a quich how to(seems very easy, so try it yourself)

II checked the mod. There are a lot of differences in the systemui from that mod and the systemui from last neatrom. It could work on last neat but could also break other things, so i don't think it is a good idea to flash it other last neat.
And fot sure it won't work on Omega.
I am still trying to create a xposed theme for this.
For now i can compile it without errors but get FCs.
Two explanations : it isn't compatible with the theme i use (jb reloaded) as it involves lidroid, or the xtheme engine is "too much" limited for that kind of mods.
Tomorrow i will know.
EDIT: well i removed my theme and it works! The brightness bar is still on the upper part (but i think it is better, even removing it would be even better ) and i have to check the height of the quick panel...
Send me your systemui.apk, i will have a look to see if i can build one for you or switch to neatrom...
And if you could send me your systemui from your GS3 i could check how they did to have the glow effect when the panel reach the left or right of the screen as i don't have it right now.

Ok, let's see:
My mod is a complete mod that adds sense style manager to the ROM, also has transparency included in settings, removed brightness bar from dropdown menu (don't know why you say it's still there?) and send the toggles to the bottom of the dropdown bar. Also, I have removed notifications and ongoing title to get more room in the dropdown, got rid of letters and separator on toggles.
It won't work with other mods specially if that other mod has lidroid (23 toggles included) it can be applied to latest NeatROM 4.7 and it won't break anything, you can ask me about what I've done that I don't have problems helping people.

Thanks for your answer, but there's a little misunderstanding here : I am not the OP, i just try to help by creating a xposed xtheme theme. I just pointed him on your mod as he gets an answer in NeatRom thread.
So my comments in the previous post was for my mod which only try to move the quick panel at the borrom - i don't touch the brightness bar code.
But concerning your mod, it looks like a complete replacement of sytemUI isn't it ? It doesn't seems to be a Vrtheme.
When i tried to decompile it, Apktool throw me a lot of errors but i could at least have a look at your moded tw_status_bar_expanded.xml. I just compared it with the original tw_status_bar_expanded from Neat 4.6.1 and (except the mod itself), the two xml diverge in some parts : it is why i said it could work, but could also break something (i didn't try it though).
Just a question : do you think it could be easy to make it works when using lidroid ?

I had a look at your systemUI. OMEGA is AOKP, but the touchwiz xml controlling the Quick Panel are implemented. I don't know if on your ROM they control the actual quicksetting, but we could try. If it doesn't work, well it will just FCs at worst.
So if you want to try my mod (not perfect yet, but at least we could see if it works for you), you will have to install Xposed Installer and the module which handle the theming : Xtheme Engine.
It's easy and safe, so no worries + you won't have to flash my mod : it will comes on top of your systemui.apk : so if it doesn't work, you just have to unload it and you will retrieve your original systemui.
Download and install Xposed Installer (it's an APK so don't flash this, just install):

And copy the flashable Disabler zip at the root of your internal sdcard : It will allow you to disable The Framework trough recovery if something goes wrong :

Choose sampletheme in the list, click apply then softreboot
Report if it works ! (in case of problems you can flash the disabler trough recovery)

EDIT: my mod will also turn your clock blue and change your battery icons, but if it works i can remove those parts.
EDIT2 : I have replaced the attachement by a new one : this one works perfectly, it has the glow effect and the brightness bar on top of it.

If you give me a few I will upload a contacts.apk theme ive got its not done all the way cause there are a ton of files that have to be converted from pkm to png but its not to bad

Only thing I have noticed.. If I change my battery Icon, in Rom control. My signal bar icon, and wifi icon turn white... Other than that best rom theme combo I have used, and only one I have used so far on my S5 Sport..

I can't imagine how much time you put into this, everything is super smooth. The only snag I've had is any time I try to search using the browser it takes me to the Google home page. If nobody else is having this issue then I probably need to stop drinking when flashing new stuff...

Thanks, and as far as the browser I didnt change anything like that to change that function only changed out themeing stuff so not to sure why its doing that
Hey guys op was just updated with v3 of the theme changed out with updated apk's of sbrowser, air messages, messages, contacts, privatemode-icons, bluetooth-icons,spinners(now red), sliders changed from batman to chrome w/blue, and a few more things, also added in special instructions to op too

The original doesn't have a number, so actually v2 is listed as v1 and so on.

Ok. I was confused cause I used the third update and my sliders didn't change to the chrome. Still got the batman so I thought there was another link.

Ok guys since there seems to be a problem with the zip, so I rebuilt the theme flashabble zip from scrap it should work flawlessly I included all updates and took down all the old links so confusion isnt an issue and yes the batman sliders will be removed for now in v2 if more poeple ask I can put together just a slider zip for the batman sliders please let me know if there is any issues and as always make a nandroid before flashing and enjoy
