Hi, I have a F180L (now converted into E795). My problem is that when I install any ROM (Stock E975 & E987, CM10.2 stable, CM11, and this one) screen goes almost the minimum bright, I move the control from min to max and there is almos no difference.
Is any way to configure it?

do a full complete wipe system data data media cache dalvik
flash f180l rom one below the latest
do ota update, if it works after the ota also than
flash open europe 10h / 10d nothing else see what happens now if its working root after that freegee and last the original f180L modem.

Hello, i'm a fresh man on my P936.
I got some trouble on flashing roms except of stock rom (full rom).
In my case, I can:
1. Access to CWM
2. Flash stock rom, stock-modificatied rom or full rom successfully
However, I failed in
1. flashing other roms likes PAC-man rom, ChaOS and etc third party rom. After I flashing those rom, and reboot my phone. The screen did not show anything, dark screen with LCD background light.:crying:
I have follow those inspections and tried many times.
Does any users have those experience before? And how can I solve it?
Thanks a lot:angel:
before you flash a non stock rom you need to wipe data, cache, dalvik, wipe battery stats (optional)
also do a nandroid backup before you wipe incase the new rom doesn't work for whatever reason, i had a problem flashing pacrom though too btw, it might just be the rom. you can try an older version or something too
If you're coming from another ROM It is recommended that you first do backup then FULL wipe then flash ROM

Yeah its a bug. Try flashing Wind 2.3 immediately after flashing CM (or PAC) and gapps, with no reboots between.

Thanks, this helped me too.
Just to be sure, before doing any of these steps BACKUP your current rom, connect your phone to a pc, open your phone`s internal storage, create a new folder and name it "0", without qoutes ( that`s a zero, not a letter 0 ), put all your files to that folder.
I am not responsible if anything goes wrong. You`re doing this at your own risk.
So, to get to the point, many users have reported a soft/hard brick. I recommend you trying this method, even thought the previous method worked for me every single time. That same method is quoted in the first comment, so if you want you can still try it. Install Jelly Bean E97510h from this link ( using KDZ updater )https://mega.co.nz/#!0gtWRABR!WSbEST...Y3UKMh3m4i7i14 Make sure you have an unlocked bootloader ( download app called "freegee" from the play store and unlock your bootloader using "mako" method ) and a recovery ( I recommend using CWM ):
After that install Paulicat, just to be safe https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B7AgxW28IQTwR2ZoZnpwNTZMekk&usp=sharing
( install it the same way as any other rom - wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, dalvik cache, format system, install zip. wipe data/factory reset)
1. download Sling Rom 2.1
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6XkUfz_jC9aNXo1TXd6SF9WdlE/preview?pli=1
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1ntsiloX
https://storage.rcs-rds.ro/links/6bee2cd4-78b9-424a-9b0b-a2c492a63cdc
2. Download patch https://www.dropbox.com/s/7a3urpzvw48hrc0/Sling2.1_Patch_F180K_lgviet.com.zip
3. Super su http://download.chainfire.eu/420/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99.zip
4. Put all three files on your sd card
5. Enter recovery >> Wipe data/factory reset >> Wipe cache >> Wipe dalvik cache >> go to mounts and storage and click "format system"
6. Install Sling Rom, then Patch and finally Super Su
7. Go back, once more wipe data/factory reset >> wipe cache >> and wipe dalvik cache
Reboot your phone and enjoy kit kat.. you dont need to flash 10H modem because I`ve already included it in the patch, and you dont need to unlock your bootloader. I`ve tested this method and it works 100%, if you cant get it to work than you`re doing something wrong.
If u have installed kit kat rom and have a weak signal then go to recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache, install 10h modem >>>>https://www.dropbox.com/s/rzpnlwu1lofpq2f/cwm-lgog_e975-europe-10h_modem.zip
Thanks @sunyakram for the rom links.

Hi guys.. I just want to write down a few things about the install process.. As u may have already seen many users have installed kit kat and ended up with a soft brick..
All the credit for the kit kat rom goes to @hoangnova...
1.So, first thing`s first, I would recommend downloading this exact version of Jelly Bean (due to the fact that many users have reported loss of network after flashing kit kat over other jelly bean versions)
E97510H_00 (https://mega.co.nz/#!0gtWRABR!WSbESTvFJPJTVvOO6hmnPxIDhq0eNY3UKMh3m4i7i14) and installing it through KDZ Updater (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010624)
2. After that install freegee (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=edu.shell.freegee) and unlock your phone`s bootloader by tapping CWM or TWRP and choosing "mako unlock method" >> "classic" can also do the job, but in my opinion "mako" is the safer option
3. After installing and unlocking JB download kit kat rom from this link http://www.filedropper.com/vdt-v20superlitelgg, put it on your sd card aka internal storage
--- also download UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99.zip (http://download.chainfire.eu/420/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99.zip) and put it on your internal storage
4. Once more go to freegee app, wait for it to download supported device list, click on the "settings" button on your phone and select "reboot recovery"
5. From the recovery make sure to wipe cache and dalvik cache.. DO NOT format anything else.. after that click on "install zip", "chose zip from sd card" > navigate to your rom file and install it.. DO NOT go anywhere.. once more click on install zip and make sure to install UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99.zip
6. Now once again wipe cache and dalvik cache, but this time you also must do a factory reset.. click on "wipe data/factory reset". this will not delete your pictures, songs etc
7. You can click on "reboot system now". Upon reboot setup your phone, once again download freegee, install it, unlock your bootloader using the same option as before..
If you follow these steps carefully you will not have any problems. If u already have a "secure boot error" just download the KDZ file from the first post and flash it through KDZ updater. At the end of flashing phone will try to reboot, if it gets stuck at LG logo press and hold the power button until it shuts down completely.. now press and hold the volume down button + the power button.. a warning should pop up saying that you will lose all your data if you continue, press the power button to confirm.. you should be good to go.
If you have any other question feel free to ask here or send me a pm.
And lastly, if I`ve missed something do let me know
Sorry for bad english

I would recommend using the provided kdz file, simply because i dont know the base of those stock based roms. and mainly because stock doesnt have any removed files, unlike those two

I have a LG G3 D855, I'm not rooted but I want to and I'm not sure which root to use. It'd be great if anyone could tell me what root tool to use and how I can flash cloudyg3 2.3 onto my g3 g3.
Ps it's a 16gb model and do you have any other roms that improve battery life and give a g4 like feel.
Thanks

You can learn how to root by going through the following thread,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
After rooting you should install a custom recovery before installing a custom Rom. TWRP is the best recovery for G3. It can be installed by using the app "Auto rec". It is available in the play store for free.
The details of installing the latest cloudyg3 can be found here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/rom-cloudyg3-1-0-t2917467
The process of insatllilg custom rom will wipe your device. So make sure to take backup. (Installing TWRP and rooting won't wipe your device)
Make sure that after downloading Cloudy 2.5, you move it to your external SD card. The external SD will not be wiped when performing the installation steps for the ROM...

If a problem were to occur during the installation from the internal SD, the ROM would be lost after wiping Dalvik, Cache, System & Data (Factory Reset) prior to flashing.
I have a question, what is the cleanest way for factory reseting the phone?
I am using a rooted LG G3 D855 now, wouldn't like to flash kdz or TOT because it is pretty complicated and although I understand most of the steps, I don't want to take the risk...
Now I would like the wipe everything clean and completely reset it to the time I buy it.
Should I just go to recovery and apply "Factory reset" option? Because I was using a special recovery to do a 5 wipe including emmc wipe (internal SD), /cache, /data, dalvik chche and /preload wipe previously in my Note 1, I was thinking that was the cleanest wipe.
But since I didn't install any recovery kernal and everything is stock except rooted, I want to know the cleanest way to wipe all data completely. Also, because the recovery (Philz touch recovery) has the option to wipe external SD as well, it makes me think it wipes things more completely and more powerful...
So can anyone please give me some suggestions? Thanks in advance. Something just tell me "Factory reset" in stock recovery isn't enough to completely wipe the phone...

You are correct. Factory reset wont completely wipe the phone. It will wipe cache, dalvik cache and data partitions. That is all the apps, personal settings and such.
Your phone will still stay rooted.
Idk what to do since you don't want to restore via kdz/tot. I suppose you could try to full unroot via SuperSU app. Idk if that works, haven't tried it.

That guide is valid.
Don't really know if you can find the exact same version as you have now.
HKG stands for Hong Kong correct? If so I would suggest you tot flashing
these: http://lgg3root.com/lg-g3-stock-factory-firmware/
Scroll down till you find d855 Hong Kong and download the correct one
16gb vs 32gb. Also download the dll. For the rest follow the guide you found.
These are from july 2014 so they are pretty old, probably 4.4.2 same as the
one you have.
Or if you want kdz which is probably easier to flash
you could use this one: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=41
Scroll down till you find: 145 HKG/HONG KONG V10N LGD855, download
and proceed with guide.

Alright, thank you for the information and reply. That means flashing kdz and tot will really completely totally wipe everything clean from my phone right? Including those system files, /preload, /data, internal SD card, /chche and dalvik cache and things like that?
It is the only method and there is no need to use any extra custom kernal or recovery to wipr those things manually? Is that correct? Thanks for advise.

Ofc no need for any of those, you need LG Flash Tool, kdz/tot (+dll if tot), drivers. That's it.. Follow the guide you posted previously.
