Hello.
Im here seeking for help and advice on a rooted Galaxy Note 2 from Sprint Flashed to Boost mobile.
I wanted to know if there are any apps that can bypass a password/pattern lock?
Also if there are any spy or tracking apps that I can install on this phone, so that way I can get real time gps, view texts/calls etc remotely like this software from mobile spy dot com.
I dont want to shell out the money for something that I may be able to get for free from the app store.. so any help is appreciated.
Thanks in Advanced.
check out the cerberus app if you haven't yet. the phone would have to be rooted to do what you're saying but yes, at least the gps could be tracked. with google hangouts you could check messages if you have it signed in on a computer, and the pattern lock can't be bypassed. but you can reset the phone through the recovry to enter the phone/ have pattern lock and rest of phone erased.

Hello,
what Secure manager software you are using.
i'm trying to find good software.
i tryed f-secure ant-theft needed to reflash phone.
then Es Secure Manaager, didn't work.
so any suggestion?
WaveSecure and Lookout are two of the best security apps that I've tried.
I realy dont see the point to install any Secure manager software, if the phone get stolen and you send the lock command and the thief cant "use" it, but if the thief reinstall the rom WOLLA it works.
WaveSecure take US $ 19.90 for 1 Year and call it secure? LOL
putkte:
You culd have one bult in i9000

I'm interested too.
I'm not afraid that someons install a new ROM. I'm afraid that the thief willhave acess to personal infmation like contact list, address. He will even have access to GPS information so he will know where I live.
Here in Brazil you can send the IMEI code to the carrier (with a police report) and they will preent the phone from working on any carrier here.
Hello,
I know that if thief is nerd he can get mine phone back by reflashing. From those lock command.
The he can get mine account information from sdcard. So that is what i dont want to happen. If he can get mine google account then he can get mine credit card info. And he get access mine personal stuff like contacts, email-accounts and facebook.
So thats why i want to get Security Software. Im not concorning if some one gets mine phone. I can get newone from store, but that personal information needs to be protected.
And i tried that Wave and it didnt get connection to wave server on 3g or in wifi.
I havent tried that samsungs software.

If your device gets stolen it sure would be nice to have recovery password protected to stop a quick factory reset or rom flash.
Has anyone seen this done?
This could help preserve security software for as long as possible to assist in locating the phone
ive been looking for this hopefully someone has a answer
Having the Power Off password protected could also buy some time if the back cover was glued on
Guys, if you get the paid version of where's my droid there's an option to the app to run as administrator, you have access to more options on the paid app. One of them is run in stealth mode, it becomes a system app, it survives flashing back to stock with Odin. You can use a pin code to be able to use the app, delete the app or make any changes in the settings on the app. There's an option to have the app send you an e mail if your SIM card is ever removed or changed, will sound an alarm even if it's on silent from any pc or cellphone, remotely wipe and lock the device. Great app for security against anyone having access to your personal information and locating it if lost or stolen, imo.

I'm using cerberus but it didnt survive a dirty flash from jediX7.2 -----jediX8. This was with cerberus_disguised-ICS.zip rooted running in admin mode.
But none of this software will work if they pop the sim or batt out. Hence the glued on cover. But the power off/reboot would need to be password protected.
I can buy a new back cover for $10 after I break it to take it off. A lot more for a new phone.
Reason I bring this up, just yesterday my bud sat on a couch in a mall. Phone fell out there. Realized it 2min later and called his number but it was off already

How pray tell does it survive flash to stock via Odin? If it stores itself on /system and /system is erased and reflashed, how does it get back?

How are you doing guys?
I bought an s4 for my son
i want to keep tabs on him because he is a teen and lets say he is not that responsible and trustworthy during these great years of his life
anyways this is what i am trying to do without rooting the phone
i want to be able to lock the stock application manager on the phone
reason being is if i install a location/tracking app to track the phone (hopefully my son is with it) i dont want my son to enter the app manager and mess with the settings or uninstall the app completely
also i would like to be able to remotely disable the wifi, data, and texting capabilities on the phone so he can only call me (or certain emergency numbers) if he decides he wants to be an ass and not answer my calls .
Is there an app i can install on my phone and his phone to do this?
Thanks for the help
I have several old NOTE 2 (Sprint) phones. No longer used. I want to use them around the house for.. OK no bull ****.. I want to install Verizon Messages + on it and log in to my wife's
Account so I can see her messages. When I install the app on the old phone
It knows I am on a phone e and tries to log in with the old number.
The same app when installed on a tablet, let's you enter the phone number
To use and login with. How can I make the app think it's on a tablet and not
A phone?
Again, the phone is no longer used, just connected on WiFi and I am willing
To root or whatever, not worried about risk of bricking it as I will just
Move on to the next one and try again. I have tried Carrier Wipe and all. Still nothing.
Thanks in advanced. (Also I was thinking maybe something with the build.prop file
But app just force closes)
CyanideL has a tablet version of the ROM.

Root the phone and install Xposed. Afterwards, download a module named App Settings. The module will allow you to change the dpi and resolution of the app into one a tablet uses.
Does she know your intentions, or is this an invasion of privacy?
Reason being, I can't, in good conscience, give you advice on how to spy on your wife.
So I've been disabled on a Note 7 SM-N930W8 Rogers in Canada
I've finally had some time to sit down and write this out. I've been locked out of this Device since January when they blocked these phones in Canada. I completely forgot the pin number I setup when I put a password on this phone when I originally purchased it. I always have my phone on me and I always have a power block. Beleive it or not I've never let this phone die... that being said once night the phone was forced to update and boom wake up 4g Gone wifi gone now it's asking me for a pin number?!?! I've always used the retina or finger to get into the phone. I have some important information to download off this phone, only way i've thought about being able to get into the phone would be WIFI which would connect to my home wifi and then use the mobile.samssung.com account to remove the lockscreen pin or reset it....
I know I can restore the phone to gain access to it, but once I do this, all my data is gone.
Does anyone have any other ideas as to how I can get around this lockscreen situation?
Any help or ideas would be apreciated - i am done with the cat and mouse game just need my docs and will send back!
