[Q] Problem with touchwiz

Hi everybody
Since I bought my note 2 I randomly have problems with touchwiz hanging. ..
Anyone else has this problem?

It is always a possibility that you might have to do this. What you could do (if you can get Kies to work properly) to take a backup of your phone's contents with it. Once done, do a factory reset, wipe the phone clean and then restore the backup you took. If you are lucky, you might be able to solve your problem and not have to re-configure everything.
If above fails, try to re-flash your stock ROM with Odin (just make sure to grab the right one for your phone), and try restoring your backup. In worst case, you might end up with re-flashing stock ROM on your phone and have to install and configure everything from scratch. But hey... perhaps it might be worth it to get rid of the crashes?

[Q] HELP! Samsung Galaxy Note II stuck on bootscreen !!!!

Hey guys, I'm new here.. need help
My Note II GTN7100, stock rooted running 4.1.1 is stuck on boot screen
I tried like everything, it won't even get into recovery
What should I do ?
I searched online.. is it SDS ?

Can you get into download mode?

What EXACTLY does the screen look like?
What EXACTLY did you do before you booted the phone?

2 - I was charging the phone.. then it rebooted and stuck on boot screen
btw my phone has recently been showing SDS I think.. lag, freeze, random reboots
This is very annoying as it's the only way i have for people to contact me!

probably it will not boot in recovery or fastboot mode.
it is kind of downloading mode. try to flash it with odin (see my sig. if it is GSM)

Try disconnecting battery and plugging into computer, reconnect and try to get into fastboot. Or if all else fails odin as stated above^^

If your device is running a custom kernel or recovery that will make the update fail. OTA checks first that your firmware has not been modified in any way....use ODIN PC or mobile Odin to update.

As glevitan said flash manually the latest firmware via Odin to have the control!

I am having this issue on my non-root note 2, I can fix it by removing the SD card and run the update again.

i was trying to flash a rom and when i did i forgot to do a nandroid backup and then when i was wiping to install i didnt notice internal was checked to wipe so i have no recovery. the only thing i can get to is download mode and i tried a bob7 tar but it didnt work and i cant find a oe1 tar. please help me!! i really wish i didnt try this. can anyone help me out?

There is no stock tar for OE1. Try Noterized. (Post 2 of the Noterized thread).
