Recently got a Samsung Tab 3 Lite as a gift and now I'm looking for custom rom and rooting possibilities.
Will these be the same as the regular Tab 3 or must I wait for it?
Would like to run a former of standard Google rom or at least without touchwhizz interface because in my opinion it's just always lagging.
Any help would be appreciated

That's a bummer.
Well then it's hoping for a friendly developer willing to make roms for the Tab3 lite, I'm hoping to run a standard google rom or cyanogenmod like rom so it becomes a more speedy tablet instead of slow sluggish touchwizz

Im looking to install a custom rom onto my Galaxy Note 8.0. I currently have it rooted and recovery mode ready and accessible. Im also running Cyanogenmod 10.2 at the moment. I love CM my only gripe is the fact that with cyanogenmod, the spen doesnt function as it would with the stock rom. I was wondering what was your guys recommendations were for a rom for the Note 8.0 that has customizations like CM but still retained the full functionality of the spen?
I just bought my Note 8 and I'm in a similar position. Would really appreciate some tips. Thanks.
Check the Note 8 development forum. With n51x0 being relatively new and niche, the number of custom ROMs is not overwhelming, so it should be quite easy to choose the suitable one.

I'd say civz flexion is the best, fluid and fluid.

Do any of the custom Roms support multi windows? Apart from SPen, that's the only Samsung customisation I need.
I have the tmobile version of the Galaxy Tab 3 , I've been doing some searching and I haven't really found much information on rooting installing CyanogenMod on this tablet.
I've read from some people that you can run the Sprint version of the roms on this tablet. But I haven't found a whole lotta info on that.
Being forced to run the ancient version of Android on this thing is really bugging me. A Lot of the apps I like to use don't work so any help in getting up to a more modern version of Android would be appreciated thank you in advance.

Not much attention was given by developers to Galaxy Tab 3 or the current Tab 4 series in my opinion
I'm in this boat too. The only thing I've found useful for t217t was a debloat mod. I was hoping I could upgrade this this to 4.4.2 like my c916
Which debloat mod did you use? I have the t217a and I'm hoping your method will work for me too.

I won't use andriod without user root to ensure privacy via my right to AdBlock or prevent analytics harvesting. Back to amazon with it.

Why there is no CM to this device or any other Rom, really sadly
Development will slowly pickup for this device.It took a lot of time initially for grand 2 also but now they have good development happeing.
So patience is the key.

Why you need CM for such beautiful phone. I think it is better to buy Nexus rather than installing CM on Samsung phones.
How will you get s-pen features in CM.

@ Neo: I doubt. We were lucky that we received 5.1.1 at all. It also took a veeeeery long time. So I doubt.
@ S2: P3ople can only port such features if there is a next generation of said device. Currently this tablet has no successor, so there is no 'source' where people could go to copy the changes/features.
Some features can be ported over from n5. The main issue is there isn't any devs left for this device or at least not p600. Sadly the dev for this device is dead.
What goes for mm I doubt Sammy is gonna work to much on this device other then just updating existing lollipop .

Yeah, we're luck we got Lollipop. No way Samsung is going to put the time in to Marshmallow for us.

That most likely wont happen as not many devs have this tablet. There use to be a lot of devs in the beginning but the majority have moved on to other devices. Like with the p600 version we hardly have anyone left and are stuck with old roms.
I personally think this is still the best tablet out there and will remain so for a while unless Samsung releases a new note tablet version and if that happens then they will most likely Support the Samsung theme store.
