Hello to all!
Shortly after installing the rom, a SMS was sent, but it has a cost, and is an international SMS!
I found that is automatically sending SMS to number +918527121333.
This is a tracking system that sends a SMS when the SIM card is exchanged.
To solve it simply, I suggest removing the apk and install another SMS manager such as Handcent SMS.
See the code attached, inside the app Mms.apk number is +918527121333
The phone is a GT-S5360B and everything works, and it has no relationship with csc.apk and your settings.
The settings menu has the android option "SIM alert" and "remote" that did not work, perhaps because anything is missing, anything Samsung apk.

Hello everyone!
After looking through the forum and only finding threads about contacts, I decided to create a thread about my problem.
So here it goes:
Yesterday, I gave my old HTC Desire to my gf. She had a rather old and run-down Nokia and her SMS were saved to her SIM-Card.
I looked through the options of the phone, running CM9, but only found the option to delete the messages.
Is it possible to copy them to the phone?
If it is, how?
Thanks in advance!
I don't think this is possible - my Desire can't see any 'saved to sim' messages, which is a shame as I've a new sim and really want the old messages. Anyone with any luck with this? Even an adb pull/ command would do me - how do I access the sim?
try open the sms app then press menu then settings and look there. on my phone theres an option to manage sms on sim card, maybe u can move them there.
Sent from my HTC Desire
I'm blind. Or rather, I was blind! Completely missed that option. Works as it says on the tin, thanks!
lol good to know it works, i couldnt try coz iv no sms on my sim card
Sent from my HTC Desire
On my Android phone, there are only view/delete options in the SIM-card SMS management.
I can not move/copy the SMS from SIM card to new Android phone.
Is there any android app for this purpose ??
Pansi SMS... My MIUI messaging app didn't have the option to copy/move the messages from SIM to Phone Memory so I referred to my favorite messaging app, Pansi, yes it has this option

yes, @munchi 's answer is one of the apps.
try other sms apps. just search the net or playstore for other sms apps then check if it can copy sim messages to phone memory. sometimes stock sms has it, but other times you just need a different app that has that function.
There's handcent sms, go sms etc. , though i dont know if these have the function to copy sim messages. Theres also the "SIM manager" app in playstore by robotobia that can do that specific purpose and much more. Note that it doesn't work on all phones yet, but you may go check it out
I just tried robotobia's app on my galaxy Y. It can copy. But what should be classified as inbox, it became a sent message. I will contact the developer about this problem. So far, the only thing I find it useful for is to delete all sim messages in a flash. So i suggest finding a good sms app with this feature is still safer.
Hope this helps
Hi I recently changed my service provider from Mobilicity to Wind Mobile and now I cannot send any text messages.
Every texts I send out results in "Message Not Sent" right after I send out a message..
I did some research and it seems like I need to update my SMSC settings.. However I cannot access my SMSC setting on my S2X by entering *#*#4636#*#* into the dialpad as it disappears every time when I enter it completely..
Does anyone know how I could possibly go about to fix this?
(FYI I'm running Jedi Mind Trick X3)
You have to change your APN settings. These tell the phone what servers and such to send sms through. Hopefully your new carrier's website will have the proper settings on it somewhere. If not, call them.
Sent from my beastly Galaxy S 2.
I've fixed it after alot of trial and error.
Apparently you need to delete all the past SMS from your previous provider before you are able to send any new messages using your new provdier.. on the default SMS app anyway. Handcent and other sms apps works regardless

First, make sure you're not sending it to a land line.
2nd, did you try removing the + sign? I'm not so sure how the codes work in your country/area but in here (Canada), it will add a +1[areacode]-[number] when the contact is saved from a received sms.
3rd, can you receive sms from those contacts?
P.S.: Don't double post.

This was an issue with some verizon ports with the SecPhone and SecContacts apps adding a + in front of the numbers and at&t not being able to call back or text back directly to that number. The contacts app might not be setup to work with the + extension added. You could try pushing a different carriers SecContacts/SecPhone apk to system or using a 3rd party app
I see a lot of threads on this issue. I'm hoping since most of them are dated around 2012, maybe there is a fix for this recently.
I have ElectronTeam's dn4v2 rom on my t889. There are a few issues I'm having in the past couple weeks (since flashing) but the latest is a problem with texting.
It starts with the fact that I'm not receiving group messages in Samsung's SMS app. So, I don't really like Hangouts as an SMS/MMS app, but one good thing about it is that it receives group messages and displays them as such. However, when I try to send a message to a new contact/start a new thread, it gives me the option to send from my Google voice # or Carrier Number "Unknown". I'm assuming that means the recipient will not know the text is from me?
In one of the threads, I read that if my phone number is correctly listed in "About Device", I would be able to send and receive Group messages in Samsung's SMS app( a feature introduced after JB)
In About Device>MY Phone Number> Unknown.
In my contacts, the first contact listed is ME, and my phone number is correct.
I've gone into Contacts>Settings>Contacts>Contacts to display> Sim card and my number is there.
I put the sim card in my old phone running Cyanaogen, and went into call settings etc., and the phone # is listed.
So I believe that my sim card has my number. But for some reason it's not getting recognized. Perhaps this is a rom issue?
Hey guys,
i flashed my OnePlus 3 yesterday with LineageOS 16, TWRP and Magisk.
Now i cant use my SMS function.
i tryed telekom and o2 but on both sending and receiving is not working.
If i send a sms to my phone i can here the incoming sms over my speakers (i think you know what i mean), but it will not appear on my phone.
The Google Messages App says:" Error while creating conversation. Please try later"
Some one knows this error?
I have a oneplus 2, LOS 16 from 21.06.19.
Both sim cards can't send (and receive) sms.
I get the message (German) "die unterhaltung konnte nicht gestartet werden"
--
I just installed LOS16 form 23.06.19. No change.
Trying to send sms from contacts (pressing message-icon close to the telephone number) shows the message above.
Trying to send sms form sms-app stucks with no message (can't reach input text screen)
I even tried to force 2g or 3g insted of LTE like it's recomended elsewhere with no difference.
It's said that (sometime) there is a SMS related option within the developer settings, but i didn't found one.
SMS is ok if I put the sim card into another phone.
Now I tried the test nenu ( *#*#4636#*#* ) for changing the phone number of SMSC (SMC-Center). Up to now that ditn't work for me.
I have installed another SMS-App (QKSMS form the F-Droid repository) You can enter a SMS but QKSMS stuck while "sending"
---
update: the smsc-number setting is something when sending sms don't work but receiving SMS works. My problem covers sending AND receiving. Therefore the cause of that error has to be found elsewhere.
Here is the log (MatLog Libre from F-Droid):
Dialer -> contacts ->pressing message-icon close to the telephone number
Has anyone any idea ?
