Here is the E988 version of the 4.3 ( CM10.2 Base ) ROM ,
THe Rom has a lot of elements from S4 and few other devices
Due to time restriction I am not able to update everything..
Apologies but this is still a CWM restore based...
install instruction
just unrar the file
copy to sdcard\clockworkmod\backup
go to restore and select the folder and restore.
reboot enjoy ( no need to do a factory reset )
I would like to specially thank madmack for all the resources lent and the hardwork he has put in...

I have to ask you because i flashed Official CM 10.2, my phone always restart automatic every time screen turn off.
I'll try it and report later.
My phone: E988 Android 4.1.2 version 10a.

Oh OK cause I have the e980 so will I have issues cause I tried the official and unofficial cm10.2 and carbon and had this issue on all 3 roms.
Can i post your rom to other forum? Sothat share rom for everyone.

you can always just clear the defaults of the launcher so you will get back the CM launcher its stil there i havent removed it... so is the lock screen as well

Yes, I just remove Lock screen GS 4 and clear launcher to default.
Try for some days, find out the issues if have and report later.

Hey anirudhks, can you upload a TWRP restore based???
Because, i use CWM to restore your rom into my phone after install TWRP to backup rom 4.3. But when i restore rom by TWRP, it always restart automatic. I don't know why.
Thanks for the ROM. Installed on my E988 that seems so far so good.
I was wondering where I can find the original apps like : LG Quick Memo, or Note app ? And how can I custom the Quick Memo button on the top left (Used to be a Quick Memo button) ?
Also, why most of the apps get error message when update from market ?

I only keep stock software because non of the custom Roms offers the smart stay screen or smart video or dual shot camera and dual video recording feature that the stock ROM offer. Until those things aren't put in to a custom ROM I most likely not gonna at least as for my daily ROM switch to a custom ROM. Just to many awesome features missing in custom ROM vs the stock ROM.

I have htc desire hd after soo many sleepless nights i was able to root it and tried few roms (android revolution cm11 cm10.1 soo on) finally oxygen rom suits me . I want to know details about this kernel thing.Am attaching screenshot of my phone .What exactly this kernel is and which will be the best kernel for my phone ???
Before rooting my phone battery back up was 3hours max with using wifi or mobile data but after flashing this rom am getting around 6 to7 hours backup .
help me out whats best for my phone

You can try svhd rom new android(4.0.4)new kernel,new sense 4.1 and is better for battery life.

SVHD rom was cool i tried but after few hours facing phone hang problem it stuck suddenly then i have to pull out the battery
am download blackout rom ..
if u know any other good rom let me know

I can tell you who is better becouse is custom rom.
I try meny roms but for me soul rom is better,you can try z74 is the last version improve battery and kernel and is in english.You have link up.

You need to full wipe an then flash new rom,do you have s-on?If you have you need to flash boot img.

dude i flash your soul rom n i loved it i made up my mind to have it then after few minutes its disconnecting from charging or usb ....when i switch off my phone then i can charge but when i charged when its open its discharging not able to connect to pc too any solution for that ?

all of patch is going to samsung,another way is make a custom rom like @wulsic doing
about news Kitkat for another Samsung device is stuck on S3 (i think),cause the lastest news i read is ,new touchwhiz launcher cannot run correctly on S3 with 1 gb of ram,and we should patient cause when S3 is not have Kitkat ,and we too not have way ,cause we have 512 mb of ram
Note:
you can check the lastest firmware for fame on www.sammobile.com,and go to tab firmware
When kitkat was released there were leaks that showed that Fame might get the update because it was supposed to support mid/low -end devices, but as we can see there are no updates.. i'll never get another samsung phone again, it's just my second and it's the last.

Well that guy is me lol but uhh Laelson we have some progress. The Recovery is now 6.0.4.9 and it now has support to flash kitkat based roms.

Well i still need to make a good working kernel for the kitkat cm11 rom just be patient :angel: i also contacted somebody else who is working on almost the same thing as me but he is further so i asked for advice with the kernel since the source is also 4.1.2 or he also knows a bit wether which patches need to be applied cause it will be faster then that i need to find everything myself since i am not a real kernel dev xd.
But yeah you can try to flash it but yeah... Rom doesnt boot yet but i think before the summervacation it might boot, or yeah my summer vacation is started next week i thought or the week after idk

Im not sure but i thought the guy in the video with that rom was using cwm 6.0.4.6 so... i thought that that version wasnt able to flash kitkat roms so yh.... I want to be 100% sure so im downloading itnow since guys with bad internet connection need to download hours to get the rom and i only around 3 minutes.
EDIT: Like i thought just 4.1.2 stock rom with kitkat theme a bit and edited settings to have more features and android version was 4.4.2 it said but in the fingerprint(Also for playstore neccesary) was 4.1.2)
The guy who made the rom has based it on the Latin stock rom 4.1.2(http://terafile.co/3395503ca6cc)

I had installed the Deluxe C & S.. had a few mistakes but with GAPPS, could not be updated because they were modified .. then several applications not working (google+, hangouts, among others.) that these problems still there?

And Kitkat is supposed to support low/mid - end devices? Probably Touchwiz but that explains how Google is able to release new versions of android and make them available as updates almost immediately on nexus devices. Im making a google kitkat experience rom but since no kitkat available for our device I have to use jelly bean as base. (Techno rom) Too complete it all I need is to change status bar and boot animation. And UI if possible because I'm new to making roms and this is my first. Any help is appreciated. :laugh:

i am using this roms. flashed it yesterday. its good.best thing is based on 3.4 kernel
still.........
rom lags some time...but its fully functional for daily use,
1. Camera working good full hd supported. but not better than original lg cam.
2. battery life is better than other cyanogenmod but not better than sphinx 4.1 or v30d roms
3. custom cpu seting.
4. root working
5. what u can do is replace camera with JB custom camera for cyanogenmod, its better.

i saw this post on some chinese site. and then used google translator and followed it for few days and got this rom link. its an excellent kit kit rom. best so far. thanks for all the work.
i am using this rom its 3rd day now. everything working great. it is the KITKAT rom we all been waiting for.

i was using it on dalvik myself, and dalvik is default setup, has switched to ART to try this feature. Its working great, will assess it and post about it after some use in 1 or 2 days.
ART is running smooth, don't use xposed framework because even in dalvik or ART, device become laggy

after using ART some softwares become incompatible. like my titanium backup is not running now and Lg JB camera moded for cyanogenmod is not running/ cant install it again.

See the logcat.You will surely find some reason for your problem.Use any logcat application from playstore to start monitoring and writing your logs.:cyclops:

I suppose that your phone boots up and after sometime crashes and restarts.How much time it works fine after a boot.What happens when you enable your wifi connection.Are'nt you able to connect to a wifi network.If this happens with every rom that you try, i think it could be related to a hardware problem.Only way i will be able to help if you could get a logcat out of it
Could you explain in details what exactly happens after you boot.
