[UTILITY] LG-G2 Toolkit | Multi Root | Multi Flash Recovery | LINUX/MAC

NOTE
I've created this tool to see that most of the support for the G2 you have on Windows, and little or very little under Linux. So that I started to work and this is the first dislike, it is a beta, but I have tested it and apparently everything, except low Mac works, having no system iOS not have been able to test, so you have Mac and try it can give their opinion and report possible errors.
LG-G2 Toolkit is a Linux/Mac multi-tool
FlashTWRP Recovery 2.6.3.2 and 2.6.3.3 flasher for the range of G2, incorporating a routine of autodetection that makes things and there is an incompatible recovery flashing error.
Rooted for all models from LG Oprimus G to LG G Flex, based on IORoot21
Backup FLEXs
Flash Recovery stock (only G2)
UnRoot for all LG G, G Pro, G2 and Flex models, (G2 and Flex the unroot is not removed the flag of root)
Restore backup FLEXs

INSTRUCTIONS
- In Ubuntu, go to Software Center and installed ADB.
- Active the USB debug on the phone, if it is already active, deactivates and returns has activated.
- Online PC select Charge the phone.
- Connect phone to USB and accepts the pop-up window.
- ERun the file menu.sh and follow the on-screen instructions.

I'm thinking that something would be good can Flash the stock recovery, by issue of updates via OTA.
I have an international D802, I don't have the recovery of other models, and I do not include them in the program.

A brief explanation:
MAC, uses kernel Darwin, that means that it is UNIX, so it will operate like that on Linux, that is compatible with UNIX.
Having that clear we can say that MAC and LINUX are supported in the use of bash script, but are not supported in the use of binary, but that's the script that knows to differentiate that binary used at each time depending on your system operatrivo is where running the script (Linux or Darwin)
Instructions for use, for Mac and Linux:
- Download the file.tar.gz, unpack in your personal folder, to not make mistakes you unpack in your desktop.
- With the file manager navigate to the folder where you unpacked.
- Now it stings twice on the file menu.sh
If you do it from console:
- Open the terminal
- Browse to the folder where you unpacked
- type:

Found an error in the English version tools/re.sh line 143, you are missing an "r" in the CabFlasher module.
Additionally there is an issue flashin a recovery, did not have a chance to troubleshoot this, but you might want to have a look at loki.sh:
/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/aboot: cannot open for read: Permission denied

I was trying to flash the TWRP recovery on an OPEN (d802) 32GB device.

This looks like a great tool for those of us on Linux. I am trying to root my LG G2 D801 from T*Mobile, but have already upgraded to kitkat. Will this enable me to downgrade to the Jelly Bean ROM that shipped with the phone so that I can root it?
If not, I would really appreciate being pointed to directions of how to do that. I have not had any luck in finding those.

Works find on my SL Mac...couldn't get the root to work, though.

It is possible to do full flash (original rom)using your tool? with no root and stuff. i would like to do this on linux but i saw that Lg flash tool is only for windows.

Can i use also on my D802 german version?
Edit: I have download the Tool and have see i can select 3GQCT. But whene i select this i dont have the CSE FLash button. Why only have CDMA this button? I think 80% from all User here have a D802 and this need 3GQCT.

All model can choose CDMA mode. Dont worry about that it's same as 3GQCT. select CDMA and click on CSE Flash to make a fresh stock rom !

Are you sure i can use cdma on a D802? In a other Thread here i have read 3GQCT must select?

Sir quangnhut123 how do i access the download mode again, when every time i press power + vol down, it goes to the factory reset then go to twrp?

When I run LGFlashTool2014.exe nothing happens. The application keeps running in the background but never shows up on screen.
Edit: Need to right click and Run as Administrator. Now it's running.

Is it possible to install over nAOSProm 5.1 with new partition table?

Can it be install using recovery, I now have OneOfAKing 6.0.1 with f2fs file system. Or i must go back to the stock ROM and then flash it using your tool.

Okay I've try it to flash over f2fs and oneOfAKing Android 6.0.1 but no luck. Going back to full stock now and will try again. @verma.arun833 can you provide us with more info about your installation process ?

I'm using it since 2 days and it's very nice to get back to a sony interface rooted rom after several years of aosp roms
I was on Naosp f2fs 7.0, so here's what i did to install this rom :
- I used Emma to get back to stock rom and partitions
- I extracted recovery.img and boot.img from Naosp 5 b28
- Flashed those using Fastboot
- Followed this guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...de-root-unlock-bootloader-partitions-t3257040 to increase data partition to 8 GB (be careful to the drivers on pc as said in the guide)
- Transfered this rom to sdcard
- Flashed it using twrp previously flashed (take care to unmount all except sdcard in recovery before flashing)
And that's all !

Thx @Dalba1108 I manage to finish the installation successfully. Setup all the apps that I used before but the phone go out of space. I'll try the guide that you share to increase the partition because after the installation the free space without any app was 900mb
For half a day used the ROM and for everything is good, but the camera app has some bugs.

You have to pay to download this version.
To download you have to create an account on their site and "buy" the free version linked in first post. Then you receive by mail links to download the rom.

There's a twrp included. But to access it you have to press multiple time power button instead of volume+ while blue led appear.

I dont have spiderman theme but Everything else is working Perfect. Really nice ROM i dont feel any bug. but yes its laggy at times but thats part of it since our phone is way too old..
I just wish we have that finger trial Particle effect in this rom. i tried may mods but none works

If u have it try this
Move ur ROM to SD card
Extract boot.image from the ROM and flash it through flashtool and reboot into recovery and then flash the ROM from sd card and wipe delvick cache and cache it and reboot into system
That will do the job

Well , it's all over we will never receive any major upgrades except regular security updates from nokia So from now there is a protocol to us especially for 6.1+ implemented by me to resize everyone's phone to 3.5GB system and 1gb vendor atlast Finally this really helps us to install custom roms/GSIs which has 3gb+ system.img using this specially designed tool for Nokia 6.1 plus.
From now this thread and this project is very important for every 6.1+/x6 user with only 64gb internal storage variant because from now my every rom will be based on 3.5gb system and 1gb vendor. the main reason because we can't do anything with 2.5gb system and 512mb vendor which we are getting out of the box.
How to use this?
Note - Make sure your phone bootloader is unlocked & Flash latest stock rom
1. Download Nokia-Repartition-Tool.zip & open Nokia-Repartition-Tool.exe
2. Select whatever size you want and click on it
G = GB
S = system
V = vendor
3. Now automatically your phone reboots to twrp and install whatever you want

Yes. Will revert back to 2.5G/500MB after back to stock.

You don't need to switch back to stock... Just go to twrp and follow all instructions on flashing LOS 18.1. I have used LOS 18.1 but the POSP rom is more stable... I am currently using the POSP rom and I am loving it... Almost all drivers I need are working on POSP...

Can I use this tool for other nokia devices?

Hi the program just hangs on resizing system and vendor for me, doesn't go past that is it supposed to be in bootloader mode I had it just normally connected to PC. On Nokia 7plus

I somehow not able to install Gapps in different slot after doing this. Gapps keeps saying storage full.
Anyone else facing this and overcame?

A word of caution — I'm aware this tool was intended for Nokia 6.1 Plus, but I used it on my Nokia 7 Plus to install custom ROM. It works just as expected, except it somehow changed my hardware ID from the default B2N to B2A.
Because of this, Nokia Flash Tool won't recognize my device if I want to flash the phone back to stock ROM, and I'd have to flash separate system images manually via ADB. The tool works, except for this little drawback.

The hardware id , device id & serial id. All these come from device-info partition. Which comes under critical partition.
So to touch critical partition we need UID binary to access or to modify. Once after the device info partition gets override with different device-info then the above 3 ( hardware id , serial id & device id ) will be changed.
My tool doesn't really touch them except partition.
Example - fastboot flash partition xyz.bin
Incase if you say my tool changed the hardware id? Then you are wrong actually. Basically UID bin comes from FIH server so without server no binary will flash and no partition can be overridden. So my tool doesn't even depend on internet first.
Small advice - always use OSTLA to reflash stock rom )

I am unable to boot into recovery whatsoever, I tried to flash stock rom but it gets stuck at android one screen.
Similarly, after using repartition tool and "rebooting to twrp 3.4" step and again it gets stuck at android one screen.

I want to know any compatible custom recovery for Xperia 10 III. I tried installing TWRP but that ended up bricking my phone.
I don't know if it helps but it is an XQ-BT52.

3day ago I have used twrp trees generator from stock recovery.img

But I no compile succefully for now I'm really no experimented for twrp stuff...

bug no fixed : internal storage decryption ( mtp too so )
work : booting , touchscreen , fastbootd, external storage / usb otg , backup , access to partition system,vendor ...
I hope in 1-2 day its stable

I have a small request. Can you send me system and vendor partitions? Or at least tell me how to get it.
In LG, I could use qfil for this. In Sony I can't do that anymore
In adb I don't see vendor and system

Its fstab I extracted from /vendor/etc , its give you response how is mounted

For encryption, you can just decrypt it after installing twrp. Then you'll be able to see your sdcard no problem.

No, when I add qcom encryption & blobs recovery no boot...
Without encryption stuff its boot but I get 0mb internal storage

It would be really great if we have the ability to flash unsigned zip files.

I would love to test it.
Even without working decryption it would be a huge added value

@psychofaktory what are you trying to accomplish with the recovery? There's a Magisk module (Backup, by Draco) which gives you a command line tool that dumps partition images, and you can flash them with fastboot. I've dumped the boot partition and compared the checksum with the one I flashed (the one patched by Magisk) and they're identical.
There's also a stock recovery that's very limited but allows you to do factory reset.

It would give the ability to flash unsigned zip files.

This guy has a twrp tree for 10 III. Maybe it can be built and used. Optionally, we can modify the tree from 10 II.

I have no shared in public any build because its unusable for user , twrp boot but impossible to mount internal storage , we simply cant flash gapps zip and more ... I need help from pro twrp dev for encryption but seem nobody care for this devices.
they are no sources twrp usable for lena

Would it work to disable the encryption temporarily so that the internal memory of TWRP does not have to be decrypted at all?
It would be really awesome if more developers would show interest in the device.
It's a really great device with a lot of potential.
