Well, I tried on my Xperia L
But, camera stops working every time..
Here is what I did
1. Took backup of CyberShot with Titanium Backup
2. Flashed both zips via CWM.
3. Opened stock camera app.. It was not responding..
4. Then un-installed stock camera app using Titanium Backup
5. Cleared cache of Camera Commons..
6. Restored CyberShot using Titanium Backup (App only restore).. Still it was not responding..
Tell me where I am going wrong.. :/

It's should be working.
You should do this =
1. Make a nandroid backup
2. Flash both files
3. Reboot
In case you get error on this camera and want back to stock camera, just restore your nandroid backup. This is for unlocked bootloader user only!

Well, I did take a nandroid backup..
flashed both zips.. Got error.. Restored nandroid backup..
But whats the point of restoring nandroid backup when you won't get Z1 camera after doing everything..

U can get smart social camera of z1 compact just need follow instruction properly Read 2nd 3rd Post Then Flash & See AR Effect,Background Defocus,AR Effect For Line,Social Live,Info Eye etc. Working Perfectly.....

What do you mean by install both zip? I thought it was for 4.2.2. If I'm on 4.3, do I have to flash both also?

same with me dude .. get fc with cybershot,manual.. i still can open normal camera with 3rd party apps .. but who care .. i have fun with ar effect .. ? .. could be perfect if u combine rizal lovins cybershot with your camera port .. anyway great jobs ..

You didn't had to quote the whole first post.
OP: Awesome to see another ROM. However, I think you already started wrong creating your ROM on the .452 firmware. The 1.58 firmware has a fix for low RAM, which makes the performance even better

The stock widgets doesnt work on 3rd party launchers , thats a feature in JB

Well..my ROM has all unused bloatware removed and almost 400mb of free ram (380mb).
It is not only deodexed, it is zipaligned as well.

Hi, i´m from Brazil and i´m having a wifi issue. it keeps trying to activate the wifi but it doesnt even show any mac adress in advanced mode....
i´m trying to find anything about it searching the forum and google but didn´t find anything releated, so maybe i think it can be a ROM issue....
The ROM is really really fast and i wish you could maybe solve this so i could enjoy it too... ! :good:

Installation :
- Reboot into Recovery
- Make nandroid backup
- Wipe dalvik cache
- Install Cyber-shot
Or Install manually via Root Explorer by copy all files to system with right folder and set permissions 644 rw-r--r--
NOTE : Superior Auto Not Working on Xperia M

Could someone with the mod working post a screenshot? I have a Xperia M Dual (C2004) with locked bootloader running the 4.2.2 stock ROM (rooted), and I manually unpacked the files from version 2.0 of the mod in the system partition, corrected the permissions and cleared the Dalvik cache. However, the only change I noticed was the Camera app being renamed to Cyber-shot, but the interface/controls/settings remains the same as before. Did I miss something?

this flashable zip will only add a Photosphere capture section in your camera app
and it is extracted from the full Kitkat Gapps, but as default it should be installed only on the nexus 5
cuz the update script has ID check script
anyway my brother tried it on his Galaxy Grand Dous [4.4.2] SlimKat ROM beta 1.7 & OmniROM & JAN-8 ProBAM & Resurrection Remix®
and it should be working on CM11 and Carbon 4.4.x too
Instructions:
Reboot into recovery
Do a backup [optional, only for safety]
Flash the zip
Reboot and have fun

Open the ROM's zip
Extract the Camera app and Gallery app from ROM.Zip/system/app/HERE [the ROM you're using currently]
Replace them with the existed ones in Original_Camera.Zip/system/app/HERE
Then flash it, that's it, all done

Oh yes, it should work on a lot of devices as it is part of Gapps,
but for example I have Xperia U with CM11 kitkat 4.4.2, and I tried this Photosphere Camera on it
and it didn't work, although I noticed that in the original Gapps script, there is a specific requirement in the device for this Photosphere Camera
to be installed.
so in this case I can't say for sure that it would work on all other devices, I only tested it on my brother's galaxy grand

Yeah it should work on lots of devices that run kitkat 4.4,
cuz this was extracted from [Gapps 4.4] so it practically won't work on anything else android 4.4
Try to search in google for photosphere for 4.2 and you'll find lots of flashable Zips for that matter
The Photosphere is working but once I take the first picture then the picture rotates slowly so that the blue dot is not constant. To keep it constant I have to rotate my phone slowly... as a result I cannot capture the full 360 degrees of the picture... any fix for this..

maybe you've done somthing wrong,
your device should be Galaxy Grand, your ROM should be SlimKat or CM11, Android 4.4.x for sure
otherwise you may have some bugs
and if you have the requirements then maybe you should do wipe cache and dalvik cache and then flash the zip again
and see if that would make any difference

yeah i try different app that's work for me but that was totally different app now I have 2 camera and 2 gallery icons in my app drawer.
Is there any app or flashable zip which add photosphere to default camera?

the flashable zip should delete the existed ones if you didn't rename them, the update script has two lines for that matter:

it work well on my S3 with L-Droid 2.1.1
Tried it on my XS with existenz 2.0.5 and it didn't work, the app wont open when I click on it instead a "unfortunately sketch has stopped" pops up. Cleared data of sketch and still no avail to make it work.

@Ben Ling , It doesnt work on Xperia Sl( ExistenZ Ultra). Always force stops while opening it. Cleared data and reopened it, but no luck. It just force close everytime. Please fix it soon.
