I have downloaded the tx ROM all the required things.. I am about to start working on it, but my personal work and college are eating up all my time and i barely get time to sleep.. I need some time to start working on it and if i am right, it shouldn't take much longer to complete the port since its Xperia to Xperia and also same resolution which is a big time saver.. Keep calm guys.. We'll see what we can do..

no way.system needs ram for its working too.u may get near about 650-690 mb ram,depending on the rom.lets hope to see a 4.3 working port for this phone

Hey guys, I was just googling around for Xperia z launcher and found this awesome thread with all the Xperia z goodies resized to our mdpi resolution...!
I've haven't tested these by myself but probably they should work for our devices too.
What's included :
1) Xperia styled lockscreen.
2) Xperia V styled music player.
3) Xperia styled status bar icons.
4) Xperia NXT update with messaging, browser, etc. apps included.
5) Xperia z icons for the above mentioned apps.
6) Xperia Z matching themes for each wallpaper !
Some other stuffs I don't remember
Correct me if I've missed something.
Testers needed for our ace.
All the credits goes to the creator of these goodies and I own nothing.

Ohk.Still going to try!
It won't work on cm7 as far as my instincts go. Works only on stock/stock based roms. It might not even work on spacecaker's sgs2 rom as it's framework is heavily modded and also its system ui.apk differs from the stock. My advice is to try it on the adrenaline rom or stock on fire or on stocklite rom.

Yeah... I think you might be right but wasn't ace unveiled in 2011 too ? Worst case, I'm might soft brick my ace. That's just a piece of cake to me. Anyways, I'm gonna try it out now and will see if it works. If it doesn't, we can ask some of our devs to make them work for us.

We can mod the framework to look like Xperia z but some we can't do on gb, like the walkman for gb( required armv7)

The problem is when i play any video through wifi or in HD mode, the video get stuck or stop loading in about a couple of minutes after i click play button. I tried to switch to 3G or play in HQ mode, the problem solved. However, i like the HD mode better. And I have a 15Mbps connection through wifi! Anybody experiencing the same problem?

The easiest thing for you would be to flash Spectra deodexed 28h JB. Otherwise you can follow the tutorial like I did in the dev section. It is actually not very hard to do. Takes only a few minutes to de odex a rom.
As for why to de odex?? Well if you want to add mods or change to a newer system app you need to de odex the file system or it will not play well. Some say odex is better and faster but for me it seems every device I have owned always seem to run better de odexed.
It's too long we are stuck on 4.1.2...
Not even 4.2 for xperia m ss( pls don't advice me to flash duals firmware)...

XPERIA M is the only Android device using the Qualcomm MSM8227.
Nokia Lumia 520 (one third of all Nokia WP) is another phone using the MSM8227.

Ohh really?? I Have tested it many times on my XSL( Existenz Ultra v2.0.5, Stock Kernel ) and it runs like heaven..I mean no lags... @AhadKhan98 Try to delete the theme and reinstall it again..
Otherwise if same lags persists, the problem is either with your rom which uses a lot of your phones ram or with your kernel.

For that you must change every apk icon. 4.3 Sony theme can't do change icon.

ive already ported that theme bro ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2718733 )but the icons are impossible becoz the theme engine for 4.1.2 is not that flexible unlike the original theme engine of 4.3 and 4.4
