[Q] Error 920 (tried EVERYTHING) - LG Optimus G Pro

I keep getting this error anytime I try to download any app. Here is what I've tried:
1) I've tried wiping the cache, dalvik cache, and wipe data/factory reset.
2) I've updated the Play store.
3) I've removed updates on Gmail, cleared Google Play Services Google Play and Gmail caches as well as removing the account and re-adding it. 4) I've wiped the cache on Google Play Services and Google Play, and removed the account and re added it.
5) I've tried turning the wifi off and then wiping the Google Play Services, Google Play and Gmail cache. Then I turned the device off and back on and reenabled wifi.
6) I've tried redownloading the ROM and reflashing it.
7) I've tried flashing back to stock and then flashing to the rom.
8) I've tried Fix Permission
9) I've tried every combination of the above things without any success.
I'm running the G2 apps added E988 ROM (F240/E980) V5 with Knock On located Here.
I have successfully flashed another E980 with this same rom the exact same way I'm flashing this one (with the same download) with no problems.
Anyone have any other idea what I could do to fix this?

Try with hard reset ,switch off phone then press power and volume down button together.
This worked on mine phone

Thank you. The problem actually seemed to fix itself. I ended up having to install every app one at a time and it started working. I tried that before but apparently I had to wait a bit or something. Still not sure how it fixed itself.

Apps won't download from Play Store

I can no longer download apps from the google play store. I press download, it says "Downloading...", the loading bar has small lines going across it, but progress never starts, and it sits there like this. Does anyone know how to fix this? I am running Tiny CM10.1.
My problems with the play store were solved when I wiped and reinstalled from scratch. This a sudden thing, or have you made any changes lately?
Others have also reported success by going in to Apps Management and choosing "Clear Data" for the Google Play Store. (There's also a Google Play Services in the list...not sure if it's necessary to clear that, too.)
I have had this problem somewhat recurringly on this rom, it didn't work for a while, then I cleared play store, download manager, basically anything with Google in the name. Other times this fixed it, but this time it wouldn't work even after a restart. I ended up getting it to work by rebooting to recovery, wiping cache, and restarting.

I Just had the same problem. Here is how I fixed it,
- Uninstalled updates for Google Play
- I added a New Google Account.
- I Then signed into the new Google Account, Then Sign Into Your Main Account
And "BOOM" problem solved.
I never had this problem until recently and it's happened several times now. It seems to happen after a major change to my system ie rom update or multiple app updates or Tibu restore I not really sure. I tried several methods of un-installing & re-installing the play store app and wiping it's cache and data with varying degrees of success.
What has worked every time without fail is a complete cache wipe with "CacheMate for root users" app.

Update from Play Store could not be downloaded due to an error (497)

Yeah, That's what I got when I tried to update my apps this morning. so I tried wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, fix permissions, deleting my account and adding it again, and lastly I've reflash my cusrom, the latest gapps (20130615), new kernel. but it still couldn't fix them I've even wipe the play store data, and force stop it. but it still occurs to me and now I'm stuck in condition where I can't downloading any apps from play store.
please help me???

I have that happen some times. I dont exactly know the reasoning but it seems like a overload of the server or your account when trying to re-add everything. Try to do a complete clean flash and put a rom on with the latest official gapps which are from the 1st of march and not June. When you load everything up, as soon as you click finish and it goes into the phone, go to the play store and stop all updates and downloads of apps so it will just have whatever you have pre-installed from the rom and gapps. You may need to watch the phone for a minute or two since it will update the playstore and then try to update/download apps again which you need to stop. Once this happens, try to install any one singular app and see if its successful.
turns out I use a proxy in my wifi settings. after I'd turned it to none, it's working like before now... but the only problem now: my device is undetected at google play website on PC

[Q] Incredible reinstall CM7.2, gapps issue, and Force Close problems

I have been very thankful for CM7.2 and my rooted Droid Incredible. Its been a great phone for me and saved me tons of money by staying a great device to use. However I recently ran into some issues that made me think I needed to do a factory reset, wipe, and reinstall CM 7.2 and google apps.
So I downloaded the CM 7.2 for droid Inc and the gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip file. I did a factory reset from within the phone privacy settings and rebooted into recovery using Rom Manager. I then wipe the data and cache and installed CM 7.2 and then the google apps. After a restart though, the google apps had not installed and I got multiple force closes. In addition, all the google accounts were still saved which I didn't expect since I had done a factory reset and wiped all the data. Even the Wifi passwords were still saved because I didn't have to enter any to access wifi. Some apps were still installed as well like Contacts +. So it seems like something didn't go right with the install.
If I installed gmail, google voice, etc from Google Play store on my phone, then I would get a Package Installer error and it would force close causing the app to not install. I could install apps to my phone using the Google Play store website on a computer. When I restarted my phone though all the newly installed apps would be gone and I would have to install them again. I made sure I was installing them to the phone and not the SD Card as well.
Other things aren't working right either. For instance the adw.launcher home button doesn't take me back to the default home screen. Pushing the button I get haptic feedback but no action for it. No setting for it under "settings" caused any change.
I did clear data on the google play store thinking that would help with the install of the apps but that didn't help either. I still get force close issues.
I am at a loss at this point and not sure what to do next.

[Q] Gio + Cyanogen 11 - Wifi

Hello all,
I need some advice. I have tried CM11 roms and Gapps packages, only to break the keyboard or break the audio or severely ruin something, or have no working market place (google play)
I finally got everything working perfect and rebooted to do a nandroid and now the wireless is greyed out and will never turn on. I wiped and started over, setup my phone rebooted, wireless stopped working. I have come to realize that I can never reboot or power down or i have to wipe my phone and start over, as wifi is effectively permanently disabled, I have tried clearing cache and data on the settings app, i have tried rebooting, using CWM recovery menu to "Fix permission" or try reverting to previous backups like the ones i took after i setup my phone, but they no longer have wifi since i rebooted them too. for some ridiculous reason. I cannot ever reboot, run out of battery, etc,.. or i have to reformat and reconfigure all my settings its driving me insane. I've spent a few days with holding swears and refraining from throwing the phone lol.
Please help
I used KitKat 4.4.2 (CyanogenMod 11.0) 20140116 From NovaFusion and i found a Gio-Gapps-4.4.2.zip online it appears to be the only combination that isn't a total horrendous broken mess without audio, keyboard or play store can't even find google servers. Please any recommendation for fixing my wifi or maybe links to an updated or better version of cm would work?
P.S. Jenkins CM11 just says (Status 0) Installation Exiting, and won't install either.
For latest cm11(from jenkins maybe), u need CWM 6.0.5.3 recovery.
Thank you very much =), I have a new problem now though. I installed CWM from the link you gave me and Jenkins installed, then i factory reset, wiped cache, and wiped dalvik, and rebooted. The Setupwizard crashes though and I can't go any further, I tried flashing Gio-KK-Gapps-4.4.0.zip and rebooted and its still crashes. Any advice?
Follow this process:
1. Do a clean install of cm11.
2. Reboot & wait for home screen.
3. Switch off & then flash G-Apps.
4. Reboot.
If still force close occurs, just press home button & wait until home screen appears.
Or u may try different G-Apps.
Hope this helps...!!
Btw...there's thanks button for ur ease
Everything works except the keyboard, but i uninstalled the keyboard and used ADB to install a new one. Thank you very much for your help =)!
ur welcome bro

**SOLVED**Playstore doesn't show app updates or shows installed apps

So I'm on the latest firmware, fresh flash with magisk, flash kernel, and xposed installed. It was working fine before but now it showes only what is In the attached screenshots. I have force stopped and cleared data from playstore, play services and play framework, as well as removed my Gmail account and rebooted and re-added my account. But it won't fix itself. No magisk add-ons or xposed modules should have any affect on this.
I've used the market doctor feature of Titanium backup to repair market links in the past. You could try that

I had the same issue after I had to clear thev data of the Playstore.
For me, nothing helped: I tried to delete my Google account and set it up again, I installed the newest version of Playstore and Play services from APKMirror and I tried some combinations of this.
The only thing which solved the issue was a clean install. I won't mess with the Playstore again
I had the same issue and i tried literally everything. The only thing that solved it was a factory reset. Also keep in mind that since that occurred any of your actions are not backed up in Google.
Ti backup fixed my playstore links, no need to factory reset
You just have to get the play store to be certified. Here is a quick guide that I wrote myself. It has worked 10 out of 10 times for me as well as my friends. Hope this helps. ?
To get playstore back to being verified. Long press the Google play store icon. Go into app info. Clear data, and data cache. Also hit disable...it will ask you to revert back to factory settings. Hit yes. After that enable playstore again. Reboot the phone. Once you reboot the phone...let it sit for a minute or two for everything to load. After waiting...open up playstore and do not touch anything. Again wait a minute or two for it to register your device. I usually wait until my screen turns off which is a minute. After you waited long enough, check to see if you're verified. If you're not...you have to do the process over again (clear cache, data, disable, reboot, etc) Just make sure you wait long enough this time.

I'll be a monkeys uncle. That worked, thanks!
In my case tibu didn't do anything but I never tried the disable method. I'll keep that in mind in case I hit this wall again.
