Hi,
my friend bring me this HTC dead - after power on I can see only black screen with HTC logo and four triangles in corners.
I found here some issues about this problem but nothing worked.
I created GoldCard and tried to flash HTC with RUU. I tried many versions but it always crashed. Here are some screens.
Here it looks good

But then an error apear
Here is what I can see after disconnecting USB cable after failure
Can someone help me fix this problem? I don't now what do next.
Thank you.
the "RADIO_V2" error is not a good sign unfortunately, I think it's very hard to bring it back to life. Hardware issue rather than software.
Last thing to attempt:
- Put phone in a plastic bag, then put in freezer for 10minutes (seriously)
- Try running the 2.3.3 GB RUU (search for it), it does not need a goldcard.
You may get it booting, but it probably won't last long.
Hi,
i tried to put the phone into freezer for 30 minutes, after that nothing changed. So, you thing that's HW error?

Hi everyone,
It is almost 2 weeks my XDA Orbit is not working properly. The first time it hanged-up during a call and afterwards it took me several resets to bring it back. During the system load the screen was changing colors and freezing, sometimes completely white, sometimes with some colorful stripes, sometimes solid violet. After several reboots I couldn't turn it on at all. I took it to local service, where they told me that the problem is with boot loader and fixed it. I took it back and have the same experience. I have flashed it with original ROM, both from PC or SD card, but the same problem exist. I am assuming that the issue is in a hardware defect. I know that it is the time to get rid of this PDA and get a new one.
Anyway... Is there a tool available for testing HTC hardware (CPU, flash)???

possibility the battery gone or the lcd.
buy a new battery, theyre only cheep so start there..
leave it off while charging, green led when done.
if its not your battery, i think its your lcd..
best to open the device and check your lcd is connected properly..

Opened my Orbit recently, the connector is in place. I would assume that the issue is more in battery then LCD. The battery surface is lofted.
Assuming that it's a battery issue - should the same happen if the device is always connected to external power supply?
...
LOL
get a new battery dude..
dont turn the device on untill the new battery is fully charged.
a simple fix hopefully..
Hello all,
This is my last shout for help before I bite the bullet and call T-Mobile to report a hardware fault! Hope it doesn't come to that!
I have been having issues with my Wifi for the last week. I normally use the MIUI Rom succesfully and have no issues. However on one of the latest times I turned my phone on I attepted to switch WiFi on and my phone started boot looping infinitely. This would only stop when i put the phone into Aircraft Mode (i.e. disabling all radios). The MAC Address on the wifi module shows as "Unavalable" .
At first I thought this was a MIUI issue and have spent a lot of time in the IRC over there discussing it with the devs. They have never had someone have so much bother!
This afternoon I decided to reset my phone back to an almost factory state with Root and followed the instructions over at the CM7 wiki to do that.
I have now got an Android 2.2 based sense ROM on the phone. I started the Wifi, it took ages to turn on then tried to scan before a message appared ("Unable to Scan for Networks") twice and the WiFi switched off.
My current setup is this:

}
and
I have also created a video showing the symptoms:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KrbCzMpbMg
And finally I have taken a logcat of the phone (cleared just before I tried the wife and exported just after it): logcat on Pastebin
I hope that someone might just be able to help me here!!!
Thanks
Mark
I think you should take your phone to repair centre.
Have you tried re-flashing a radio?

Hello!
A month ago i installed Cyanogenmod 10.1 on my One X, with no problems. Everything works fine. A few weeks ago i wasn't able to start it. In the evening of that day i plugged it in and the led was flashing (like the battery level is under 5%). After 10 minutes is was able to boot my phone and made this screenshot:

Well.. right now it is happening again. Can someone help me please?
I can think of many things
1: battery fault
2: coincidence
3: rom problem
Maybe try another rom for a while ?

Keep your phone on wall charger for 4-5 hours and try to boot it up...
If the problem still persists after flashing a new rom, it's definitely a hardware failure..

But it is working for like a month or so. How can it be a hardware failure?
Hardware failure can appear at anytime. Why does a fridge breakdown after 6 months.....why does a tv breakdown after 4 years ?
Hey all; I got a Nexus 7 this past December and everything was working great until yesterday.
I took it out of my school bag and when I pressed the wake button this happened:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now whenever I wake up my Nexus the same thing happens. Sometimes it goes back to normal after a few seconds, but it continually freezes or has random slow downs.
I reset the device and erased all my data and whatnot, but still the same has happened.
Any suggestions?
What ROM are you running, stock or custom? Try reflashing a ROM (let us know if you aren't familiar with that) in case something's corrupted. Hopefully it isn't something with hardware.
This should be a hardware failure.Take it to the service.
@Pandae: Everything was stock. @GeoVali99: Correct-o, sir!
Ended up being a hardware issue so I'm getting it repaired.
I appreciate the words though!
Hi!
I've got the same problem.
Can someone tell me how to fix that Problem by my self?
I have no guaranty left...
Thanks!

Not a big deal. The LCD is fine. What happened in my case when I got exactly the same screen is that the amber ribbon (LCD to motherboard) seated wrong, and I bent a pin on the motherboard connector out of shape. You open the back cover and reseat it, but make sure you do not damage the pins. In other words do it very gently, do not force anything, and monitor it all with the help of a magnifying glass.
So, I might have made a mistake... got my M8 today (yay) and bought it used with GPE rom on it. Well the software kept messing up and I wanted to go back to stock... well I tried fast booting and using a RUU which failed (too many links). I decided to then unplug it and found a horrible screen of htc logo and 4 exclamatory triangles. I can access bootloader by unplugging the device, but the only option is RUU. cannot seem to get anything else.
Connect the phone and post the results of fastboot getvar all and we'l take it from there. If you can also post a screenshot of the bootloader screen that will help
