I just flashed the Infamous GE 4.4.2 Rom on my tmo S4 and keep getting this error message when my phone boots:
"Unfortunately SAPedometerSettingProvider has stopped"
I'm also unable to install the Samsung App Store app or get notifications on my watch.
I also got an error message about this app that is not found or can't run:
com.samsung.android.notiprovider..... (don't remember the rest, but looks like the notification service)
I'm guessing that i'm missing some samsung bloatware but not sure.
Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?
Would returning to the stock firmware possibly fix this?
Some custom roms like Wicked 10 support using galaxy gear. I'd flash one of those if I had galaxy gear.

I just read the thread and they say it syncs with the phone (which the infamouse GE kitkat ROM also does) but some of the apps i want like svoice and notifications don't work and won't work because of the framework.
so i guess the best option to get everything working is the stock ROM?
Anyone know how to fix this on the custom roms?

Does anybody know why the phone app on my LMT launcher does not work? I'm running wicked v5.1, stock deviant kernel. Is there a workaround? Thanks in advance...:beer::beer:

Were you asking how to get the lmt pie control to work included in wicked rom? You have to enter the settings and start lmt and then pick where you want it to open from. I hope I helped and if I read it wrong let me know of maybe I can try helping again.
No I'm sorry what I meant was I know how to use it, it's just when I add "phone" as one of the quick apps, it doesn't bring up the dialer?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda premium
Hmm I see I just tried it and it didn't work for me either. I'm thinking of just installing the app itself (not using the wicked one) and see what happens.

Hello everyone! I am using LMT 2.0 and also have the same problem (the phone app does not work from the pie), but I think I have found a solution.
Under the list of normal commands about the pie, select "app" then select "CONTACTS" from the list of applications. This must be some kind of bug, because instead of opening the list of contacts, it opens up the phone dialer app, instantly.
(hopefully this works on other phones) (I am using a custom rom on jelly bean)
which rom out there is the closest to stock aosp 4.4.1 possible that i can flash for my mk2 m919 tmobile. somehow i was able to upgrade and was able to root and now i can run customs roms. but i want a stock rom. is it possible to get the google edition s4 to m919? i would also like to use isis but says cant cause im rooted. any bypass? im also trying to unlock my att s4 but no luck. so my wife can use. i have a feeling its the software im running the latest on it. thanks everyone.
If your att s4 is rooted, use RegionLockAway app by p chainfire. It will SIM unlock your device.

Probably the cyanogen nightlies are what you should flash for 4.4.1: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=jfltetmo

The CM nightlies are probably the furthest from stock 4.4.1 that you'll find. There's the unofficial Carbon 4.4.1 nightlies but having never used that ROM I can't say how close to stock it is. There are two Google Edition 4.4 ROMs though, Dandroid and Virgin. I'm using Dandroid and it's by far the best 4.4 ROM I've tried so far. Not sure about VirginROM but Dandroid does have the 4.4.1 camera.
Thanks guys! But what about unlocking! I can't root my s4 att it's on 4.3 I want to use it so bad for tmobile for my wife. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

4.4.2 is out FYI. I would suggest Virgin Rom
Besides being closest to stock. Which one of the two has the features like Samsung? Smart pause, air view, air gesture, ir blaster, etc. Virgin or dandroid?? And also compatible with 4.4+ KitKat?? I also need isis and Google wallet to work with it.

Only Touchwiz roms will have the samsung features. The closest you're going to get is to run an AOSP based launcher like Apex or Nova on top of a Touchwiz rom. I believe Isis won't work if the phone has been rooted. There is a google wallet fix available to make it work with NFC.
I know there's a bypass for isis if it's rooted just wondering if it's compatible with KitKat, with wallet too. Guess I'll have to read around more..Thanks

Why not use stock rooted and customize it with xposed? Tethering has a workaround on this forum that seems to work for many people and using xposed with wanam you can enable call recording. Use titanium backup to freeze any apps you don't want.

Flash any rom in recovery and then flash this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50177141
afterwards to get rid of 600+MB of bloatware, the option is yours on what you want to remove.

This is not true, I have Vision 4.4.2 built and working, and you can roll back to 4.3 no problem....and when this so called official release does hit, that would be the one that will lock you into 4.4.2, until a dev gets ahold of it and does their thing. Be careful....
You do NOT want to do an upgrade over the phone, that is a sure way to get stuck on 4.4.2.......

Wicked V5 and chose the stock theme in Aroma..... you don't have to activate X posed or Wanam if you don't want to. I think it's as close to debloated/stock and stable you can get. Everything works fine for me. No crashes/no FC's nothing. Wifi calling/tethering. ..... and then you can flash DD Blacked out stock theme and it's just Tits.......
Hello I have a Noob question about CatLogs for all you I747 pros.. I am still very new to root due to some complications while rooting my device has become a bit sluggish and frezzes up quite often no matter what ROM I am on the same issue occur I all ways do fresh installs with Full wipes every time. I heard that a CatLog would narrow down the problem am kinda tired of having to factory rest in hopes of stability . Only issue is I don't know how to do or use..
Can someone please explain CatLog and Debugging are the apps or Via PC?
Am currently running Gummy ROM nightly 3/4 4.4.2 with its stock kernel have the Att locked(4.3 bootloader) this is where it all went wrong.. Wife took Att 4.3 OTA update and broke 4.1.2 root and locked in to Safe Mode and disabled Download and Recovery Mode. Dam Knox took me weeks of research to fix. I had rooted after buying it for her and could not decide on rom. Any who she now hold my S4 hostage till I can get this S3 under control. Thanks in Advance.

Nightlies started a few nights ago. Not all features are included yet and there are a few bugs. Check the existing pac thread in the original development section. If you try it make sure to go to call settings and disable the non intrusive setting otherwise you won't be able to receive calls.

Okay, it's a stand alone mod that flashes S5 apps over your current S4 settings and apps. What recovery do you use? Did you wipe dalvik/cache? I'm assuming you didn't make a backup before attempting this? Of course not, well you could always flash a custom ROM over this to fix or flash a stock ROM. If you want the S5 settings(you obviously do since you attempted this) I suggest trying out Insane KitKat in the Android development section of the T-Mobile s4. The dev has given you a choice to flash his ROM with s5 settings and even some apps including the browser, download booster, the calculator, etc. Let me know what you end up doing.

You're device is rooted, you've already tripped your flash counter. This would be void through JUMP unless you go back to complete stock using one of the tutorials here on XDA. I'm glad you mentioned that because I am a employee for T-Mobile. When you bring in the device, we'd do a software check. It checks the build, baseband, kernel, and flash counter. So what you really need to do at this point is return to full stock
