Have noticed that the output on the Note II charger is higher than it was on my S3. Does anyone know where I can get another genuine one or equivalent travel one with the same output. Have used my friend Google but no luck.
Also, can a usb cable also affect the charging rate. e.g. I am currently charging my Note II in work with the original charger part but different usb cable and is only on 70% after 3 hours where as at home with rthe genuine usb and charger part it would be fully charged by now
Here is a 2 amp car charger which would charge your phone in roughly an hour and a half (3.1A/2A).
i just damage 2 charger, one stock samsung charger and the other one is belkin wall charger. i just connect it to the plug and then suddenly the fuse explode. all this happen this 2 days. i already change to omega rom pass 2 week and this never happen. someone please help me
Hello guys from XDA!! I would like to tell you something that just happened and something strange. I got a Note 8.0 N5100 which came with the software CLARO, the only thing i did was change the ROM from CLARO to a clear one whitout the icons . when the flashing process ends and the Note 8.0 start i realize than the battery was in 0% and whean i connect the charged did not charge.
Now, here is the weird part:
- I realize that the Note 8.0 has a connector from the Galaxy Tab 2 (the width), and i saw on the videos even in the samsung store that this Note 8.0 has the standard connector from all the galaxy's (i9100,i9300,i9400, etc)
I think that my problem its because of that, as i put the ROM from the Note 8.0 normal (with connector standard) and i seek for the ROM that had before in all the website and i didn't found anything.I not even found a comment about this kind of Note 8.0.
I would be glad know if somebody can help me with this or give me some suggestion

the galaxy note 8 uses a standard micro usb port, not the 30 pin like the other galaxy tablets. it does need a 2.1A charger to get the rapid charge going, or you'll be stuck at trickle charging and it'll take a good while to charge. if you don't have the charge and just a usb cable and a computer just hook it up to the computer and let it sit for a few hours. you should maybe have 50% after 4-5 hours.

what happens is that came with the connector on the galaxy tab. Always charged so. at the time of change the ROM has stopped charging and battery 0%. What do you think it is?
try another charging adaptor or a different cable
Could you please posts the photo of the connector on your piece and the charger you got?

Like most of us my note 2 N7100 charger cable is malfunctioning due which its taking a hell lot of time to charge, now i am using my GALXY S 2 I9100 Charger and data cable, both of them are working perfectly fine, my phone getting fully charged with in 3 hours when not connected to 3g or wifi, if connected to 3g or wifi takes near about 3 and half hours or 4 hours,
I just wanted to know is there really any difference between note 2's data cable and s2's cable??
Will these s2 accessories damage my Note 2 with time ???
No problem at all, for data is exactly the same and for charging may be a bit slower; but it won´t harm your Note2 for sure.
hi. my note 3 fell in water everything works great except the charger port. when i connect my original charger it wont charge but if i use a note 4 charger sometimes it show that it charging but all it does is drain my battery and it disconnect every time i move the phone. i try connecting to my PC and the phone sometimes show charging but my PC wont recognize it. can some one please help me?
