Just rooted and unlocked and installed recovery (cwm)
How does one enter recovery?
According to the other post they say vol down + power
Then vol down twice
Did this when the phone was off as per FAQ
Can anyone confirm the correct way to enter CWM
Thanks!

I recently flashed calkulin rom 292 now this is were my phone screens only goto. Please help I also included pictures.
That doesn't look bricked. Bricked would be if you had nothing show up on the screen. If you try to go to boot loader can you? It should be power + vol down or power + vol up as u start up.
Go into recovery and wipe data then phone should boot also cache and delvik cache

Power + volume up is recovery power + volume down is download mode. You are definitely not bricked though. If for some reason you cannot get into recovery just flash back to stock through odin.
Been there done that. Download a stock romm or the one click and instal with Odin.
You aren't bricked.
Good luck
If you cannot get into recovery just follow this video and you should be good to go. Make SURE and follow all instructions to a T or I cannot help you with any problems you may have.

how to s-off htc wildfire s. I've unlocked it and then you can not get into recovery
You must flash a custom recovery first. Check the index. You need xtc-clip to get s-off

get cwm 5.0.2.8 and flash it to get into recovery { http://www.mediafire.com/?pqtgftm40909r31 and u kno how to flash recovery recovery.img }
+
u need to press vol+ and vol- button repeatedly in recovery mode to enable back button [i.e. to get in-out of recovery options]
this vol+ and vol- should be like --> go to last option by vol+ and then come back to 1st option by vol- and repeat unless its displayed 'back button enable' on screen
for S-OFFing, if u find any alternate stable method (excluding xtc-clip) plz post me.

Hi there,
everytime I flash CWM 6.0.4.8 and Philz Touch 6.3.0.1 with Odin I'm unable to boot to recovery. I have to flash the stock rom and the the recovery image again to work around this. I wonder if there is any solution to simplify this process as I have a few devices here and it's kinda annoying
(Edit: I see a yellow warning sign after flashing the recovery the first time)
Any ideas?
You acces the recovery by pressing power + volume up.
Maybe this is your mistake ?!

I press volume down, menu + power to get into download mode. After flashing the new recovery I press volume up + menu + power to get into recovery but this fails (doent boot into recovery. getting a warning sign instead).
Strange thing...

Are you sure you are holding the buttons long enough? This may be the problem
if you let go right when the screen turns black and about to reboot this won't work.
try to hold it almost until the recovery sign pops up. Also instead of booting to recovery
right away try powering off and letting it rest, then boot up and into recovery.
PS : Make sure you're flashing a stable version and compatible version of recovery.

Dear all,
im using oppo find 7 and now i have problem to enter a recovery, when i press power button + vol down, screen show fastboot, all this happen after i root my phone using KingRoot, im planning to install CWM to replace recovery. but also fail..:crying::crying::crying:
NEED HELP FROM PROS... THANKS A LOT....
Did you try pwr + vol+ buttons? Anyway if u have just rooted you need to go into fastboot, flash the recovery and then boot into recovery. Make sure u unlock bootloader when in fast boot. Else recovery will be wiped. Also i suggest using TWRP instead of cwm.

Hi All,
I rooted my "HTC desire 820 dual sim" after that i tried to take backup from the TWRP recovery mode while backup in progress, screen went off and I pressed Vol Up+Vol down + power button to get out of the recovery mode. But instead of coming out of the recovery, it again went into it and since then i am neither able to go into fastboot mode nor into the system. I tried using adb reboot and adb reboot bootloader but every time it went into the recovery.
Please help me out on this

Tighten two volume buttons and the power button when you see a black screen and holding down the volume- and power button that would go to bootloader,in the bootloader,to select reboot.
Go to vaishno devi and pray for your phone.

Hey,
Got my phone out from the TWRP recovery loop, Restored it from the TWRP backup for HTC desire 820u and then booted it up from the boot-loader.
Anyone needs HTC-Desire 820u stock TWRP backup, get it from here.
