Not quite sure what you mean - there is an option in Dash Notifier to always have the app icon showing (with an optional unread count), whether or not there is a current notification. You also may need to resize the widget to get the 'full' scrollable view as default. Mine takes up one entire home screen.

I think he means dasclock/notifier on lockscreen, i also have the same issue; i have to drag down the unlock patron (security) for me to be able to see the notifications on the lockscreen.
Is there any 'solution' for this?

Ah sorry - not sure - I have my dashclock on the lock screen as a secondary widget (again expanded by default) - but still need a swipe to get to it.
So, I would use this put I feel that once u unlock the tab pulled down should be done already. Then swipe up to unlock

You can install GravityBox and under Lockscreen Tweaks there is an option to maximise all widgets.
Try that.

Hello,
I'm wondering if there is a way to modify the notification icons like reordering it or adding new icons(ie driving mode) to it.

Its the notification/status when you pull down and you have the wifi, gps, bluetooth, screenrotation that you can toggle on/off.
If your referring to the icons in the drop down menu yes you can reorder them and choose which ones you want to show by simply going to quick settings if you are rooted.

Yes I'm rooted but I can't find this quick setting. Also how would I added say some icon that isn't there ie car/driving mode.
No one can help with this?
It has to be built into the rom for you to be able to customize it through a UI...otherwise you would have to go into the code itself and add it manually

I'm not running any rom, my phone is stock but just rooted. I also don't mind going into the code and doing it there if someone would point me in the right direction.

Hey guys, I've seen this option in custom ROMs but can't quite figure it out on a stock phone. Is there a way of adding app shortcuts to my lock screen slider? Currently I drag the lock circle to the unlock area and the phone is unlocked. I want to add other shortcuts there so I can drag that icon to, say my text message app, or twitter, etc.
I do not want to add widgets to my lock screen, so please do not suggest doing that.

That's a custom ROM feature, not available on stock.

No way at all to do it on stock? Not with another app or anything?
IDK if any custom lockscreens (e.g. Widget Locker) include that functionality or not. The only other work around I can think of is maybe lockscreen widgets.
WidgetLocker works

Please, how could I add shortcuts to my lockscreen? I have seen a video about it but the option doesn't appear in my settings.
Have you already searche a xposed module? I guess there's one for lockscreen shortcuts

That's because the widget is auto closed due to Miui optimization....try turn it of on that particular widget and lock app to memory in recent app by sliding down to lock....

Just open the security app > battery > app battery saver > then disable the optimization for your widget app!
Then you may have to open the widget app then click hkme, then view the recent apps, drag the widget app down, then at the top click the lock icon
That should be fine now!

Thanks,
Honestly, I'd suggest turning off the app battery saving entirely. I did that recently and I discovered that not only did all of my notifications and other background updating apps now work perfectly, the battery life on my phone got better if anything - it certainly didn't get worse, at any rate.
This is my first phone with MIUI and I'm wondering if it's possible to modify lockscreen shortcuts or remove them completely (extra page which appears when you scroll to the left with left to right gesture)? I have only Mi remote app there with a flashlight toggle button. I haven't found any related settings to this feature, but maybe I just missed it.
its not possible, miui is basically forcing glance on users

Glance? What's that? Quick google search revealed some wallpaper carousel app. I might have the app missing though as I uninstalled most of MIUI apps.

probably because the app is missing, you have some other shortcut, but afaik its not possible to change to a desired one.
Im having issue with this function.
Enabled it but no shortcuts are even showing in the lockscreen of my s10+ android 11.
