With all due respect to our developers.,
Could you create a CWM flashable STOCK samsung ROM
That could be flashed over our 4.4.2 kitkat ROMs?
It could be benificial to some members
to go back to stock ROM without using Odin.
And could be handy to revert back.
Thanks!

If you are familiar with Odin, which you should be since you rooted your phone just use it to install the stock ROM. You will lose root so just be aware in case you want to flash another ROM later.

Hi, I am totally a newbie for this. I have got Galaxy S4, which is GT-I9505 but then I would like to have T-mobile ROM running on it. How far is it possible??? If so can you please guide me through each steps. Also please give me the dis advantages of having Tmobile ROM on GT-I9505. Thanks in Advance.
The rom which you want to flash, that version should match your mobile version. If you want to flash tmobile version of rom, you may hard brick your device.
Hit thanks if you think i sabed your device

type your mobile name and the carrier on which you are. and the name of the rom you want!
if you want some other unofficial roms, then make sure they are supported by your carrier device. ask the developer of that rom about this. plz click thanks insted of saying!
:laugh::good:
Basically take whatever ROM you want from the i9505 and flash it via CWM or any custom recovery, but NOT via Odin; this is due that Odin flashables usually include the i9505 modem... It won't brick your device, but you will be left without a signal.
Btw, make sure you flash a Samsung based T Mobile kernel (original, faux etc) AFTER flashing the ROM you want. Otherwise you could have a potential soft brick in your hands .
To wrap it up, it's :
1- Flash rom of choice via custom recover, not Odin
2- Flash T Mobile, Samsung based kernel via custom recovery.
3- Enjoy!

You can safely flash any of the Tmobile S4 Touchwiz Jellybean 4.2.2 cwm/twrp flashable custom roms.
The Wicked and the Darthstalker roms both work fine on the i9505 Galaxy S4 phone.
You can find both of these excellent custom roms in the "T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4 Android Development" threads.
Both of these roms are based on the latest M919UVUAMDL firmware.
If you want more information and details about these roms you can find it in their threads here in xda.
Always do a full wipe including Factory Reset, Wipe System, Wipe Cache and Wipe Dalvik Cache before flashing.
Be sure to make a nandroid backup before flashing any roms.
Good luck!

Sorry I know there's instructions already, but I can't post on Dev Threads yet, plus just making sure...
Will I need to flash to official 4.4.2 from sammobile before I install kitkat custom roms? or it doesn't matter? Thanks in advance.
PS. latest is N7100XXUFND4 4.4.2 from sammobile for my country, and I haven't flashed it yet.

Although it's not mandatory but people have found it easier to flash custom KitKat ROMs after upgrading to the official stock one. Or you can give it a shot to first flash custom KK ROM of your choice.

then using Odin with stook rom 4.2.2 dowmgrade from 442
Seriously?! you're in development section and you create a thread just to ask?? this kind of question should be posted in general or question and troubleshooting section.
do your search before you ask question in development section. Keep in mind, once you upgraded to 4.4.2, there's no way going back to 4.2.2 because of bootloader...it is one way upgrade, no downgrade unless you were on custom ROM 4.4.2 and using custom kernel/bootloader etc...
. The end for my device:fingers-crossed:

Let me know when we get one. Thanks in advance............
I have a SM-N910V . Back in November 2014 I installed the TWRP custom recovery and rooted with the process talked about here http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-verizon/general/dev-edition-twp-root-t2923216. I haven't made any other modifications.
Is there a fool proof upgrade to Lollipop with root? Please list instruction with the links to the software here.

Follow the instructions here. Flash the tar with Odin. It's a one step to get to lollipop. There is a screen brightness issue that is now fixed with a modified kernel. Grab that from the fix section on that same page.
Remember to freeze sdm.apk so you don't accidentally take an update. Or you could flash ricks new rom on the development section. It's a debloated stock lollipop rom. Look near the end of rick roms thread for the download. Note that you need to Odin the above file before you go to ricks rom.
