[Q] Need help rooting the Metrp PCS S3

I'm trying to help out a friend who desperately wants to root his S3. It's the Metro PCS S3 and I've searched for a method but have been unsuccessful. If anyone knows a way or if it can be done with another variants method I would greatly appreciate any help. I think the version may be similiar or the same as the Verizon S3. Thanks in advance.

I am now the proud owner of a Sprint Galaxy Note 2. Can sumbody please help me? I want to flash my device over to metro pcs but I cant seem to find the correct thread. Can sumone please point me in the right direction? your help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

After I finished all the steps the galaxy making reboot after a message appears on the screen with the words "error"
what can i do??

I'm a little confused...I know I can use this sprint phone on net10. What I am confused about is if I can run 4.4.4 ? If I can can someone please send a link with instructions?
