I flashed the ROM and everything works great, but the Samsung keyboard won't give mea chance to activate it. It says it's installed, and I even updated it, but I can't use it.
Anyone know a fix?

I would do a "FULL" wipe and then try to clean install again. Mine is working fine.

I did a full wipe first... I'll try again
EDIT: Dirty flash, no system wipe=success. Somehow I overlooked the party about stock keyboard the first time, but I checked it the second time around, and I'm back in business with the stock Samsung keyboard.
you didn't have to do a full wipe. just reinstall and select in aroma and it shoukd be set. just gotta be careful with those aroma roms and read everything.
Someone know why they closed the thread of clean rom ?

For a while now I've been having some issues with my phone's Internet connection. I'd be in the same room the entire time and all of a sudden Internet is off for a few hours unless I reboot my phone or connect to wifi.
Even as I try to type this plea for help my Internet died on me and I had to restart my phone. Thankfully the xda app saves drafts.
I'm not sure if it's my phone's rom, an app, or whatever else. Any suggestions would what to do?
Rom: PACman
Cheers.

In recovery you can fix permissions under advanced in CwM
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
So just a general fix permissions setting? Not something like fix permissions for this app or something?

Yes, when you run fix permission in recovery it does everything. For the internet to 'just stop working,' that sounds like a network issue. I've known people on that rom for a good while and never stated that as an issue.
But the thing is the Internet isn't like this on my non rooted Samsung s3. So I feel like it's either my rom or an app gone crazy.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Try a new rom and see if that fixes the problem. Even reflash your rom. Wipe cache/dalvik/fix permissions. Go through all the motions and find out what works for you. I recommend going back to a stock rom to run updates (prl and stuff) and see if that fixes it. If all else fails try formating and start fresh.
hi guys hope you all doing well.
see the problem i am facing is with alliance rom v3.0 in my note 2. the problem is that whenever the screen turns off in landscape mode i.e while watching movies or playing games it never turns on and i am left with only option of removing battery and restart the phone anyone else facing the same problem? help me in it
Youd of done better by posting this is the rom thead.
This is caused by having ripple effect enabled in lock screen settings. Turn it off and when phone screen turns off in landscape it will no longer freeze.

Did you try updating OTA? There's a couple of fixes which might resolve your issues.

No problem. Sorry I didn't know you couldn't post with less then 10 posts. I'd also recommended doing all the updates. Irons out all the bugs. Apart from the issue you have had.

in order for the boot animation to work you first need to flash a mod that enables custom boot animations. you'll find it in the OTA updates.

If your using twrp you need to use selinux mode changer from the play store and set it to permissive to get signal in 4.4 roms.

Chromecast seems buggy. Not sure if Google or the ROM.
Flashed using cwm this time and all is good. Wish there was a 4.4 rom with more interface features

Same...
I have the same problem, I'm on v7. Rebooted a few times, haven't reinstalled yet.
Hoping someone has a better solution, only because it would suck to do a clean install and have the same thing happen again a couple of days later.
After the clean install did it ever happen again?
Also, is this a Rom problem or is it Huawei's fault? (It is a Beta...)

For me the problem seemed to be conflicting XPosed modules... If you have those, try disabling them.

Pinching to zoom on the stock camera app does nothing and when I tap on the screen it doesn't take a picture either.
Also the stock gallery app force closes when I open it to look at pictures.

When you flashed whatever u did something did not take or you have xposed. If u have xposed delete and try again. If you don't have xposed try dirty flash if no go wipe and go back to stock and see if camera works

Back up your apps with titanium back up and I would try a recovery or a new flash like everyone else recommended something got corrupted somewhere

I can probably get you the camera apk if you want to try deleting and reinstall just the camera not sure if it will work
I don't think anyone can tap to shoot. Tap focuses.
AWESOME G3
I see what they did. If you have camera icon showing you can not touch to take pic. If you have clear hidden icons you can touch to take pic.
Did a wipe and restored each app testing the camera in between each app. Worked fine after I restored all my apps but then it stopped working again after a few hours.
Nothing changed within those hours either.

I had the same problem and indeed it was the Swipeback Xposed module that was causing it. I turned off Swipeback for the camera and it's working normally now.
