They seem to be doing much better on this phone with support than when I had the Vibrant, that literally took years

I have the vibrant when it 1st come out. And the support was suck.

I too can testify that Vibrant support was crap. But the GS3 is very similar across all platforms so carrier issues shouldn't be such a big deal this time around.

Rumor is that it will be by end of year. Who knows how accurate that will be, but as others have stated, with the GS3 being so similar in all it's versions, it's really going to come down to how long it takes to customize for each carrier. I'd imagine all updates will drop within a month or two of each other.

Alrigghttt. Just keep waiting. Friends nexus is already rolling with it. And I got all jelly.

Sprint nexus has nothing to do with our devices I think we getting ours before Halloween, today's leak looks really good and so far just a few bugs but 95% of it works just fine so might be sooner then two months

And not only that the s4 will probably take at least 6 months before it hits t mobile? And right now I can sell this for for $200. So that's where I'm stuck at.

I'll hold off. I mean dev is still booming and it'd be my luck the s4 is way better.

The S4 is going to come out around June in the us trust me, the s3 is amazing I got it a month ago no regrets

Get the unlock code from T-Mobile for your s2, sell on eBay and get around 200-250 and grab the s3 then flash wicked and enjoy life on speed.

i am holding up for the rumore google motorola phone ..the one to rule them all...

I have both the s3 and the s2 and to be honest with the the awesome devs we have on both s2 amd s3. The difference in my opinion is not big at all! The s3 is an awesome phone, but when comparing especially for upgrade. I think the difference is to small to justify. Imho

There will always be something new get the s3 while you can still sell your phone for 200-250... s3 has excellent battery display no complaints from me...
I hit easily 4hours+ screen on time whit 16 hours/18hours of standby whit stock battery... so yeah ..

My honest opinion we should skip 4. x anything... and demand 5.0.. And android 4.2 on my nexus 7 was not a nice thing...
Stick with what works.. not whats cutting edge..

I agree with sticking with what works but a lot of the people around here that can't do dev work truly believe that the newest is always the best, and that's not always the case. Android 5.0 may be just around the corner, who really knows considering 4.3 was just released for the Nexus line and in development for the S3, S4 and Note 3 (and possibly the Note 2).
ICS was a big step up from GB, and JB over ICS. History has proven the the next big version is not just better but A LOT better. But I have to ask, what could or would you possibly change to make Android that much better to warrant a major change over Jelly Bean?

Basically the stuff ive read from random sources online, its gonna be more aesthetic stuff but will also cut down on cpu usage. Making it more streamlined and less power hungry, meaning the newer smart phones will run smooth as silk and battery drain will be minimal. Obviously some features will be added, but i didnt read of anything revolutionary. Hopefully theyre keeping that aspect under a tight seal. I feel like theyre going to increase interaction with multiple devices now. Integration of all peripheral devices seems like the next "big thing".

Don't give a crap about the watch.
Guess what? They'll write the pairing code just like all the other Sammy-exclusive hardware like AllShare etc...so that rooting your handset to not spend a year waiting for a TWiz update will break any connectivity with the rest of the Sammy device ecosystem.
As to the Note2 and s3 update. Hope springs eternal. I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm lucky enough to have expendable income. I'll have the Note 3 day1. But I refuse to become **** Tracy with that watch.

Yea $300 for it is a lot the note 3 probably going to be $350 with 2 year contract. In tmobiles case no contract . But same rules still apply -_-

the note 3 look great and all but as like some other people say ill wait a little before getting one

Looking for a smarter smart watch (more activity functions, that can last longer then my workday, if even) and not sure about the Note 3... I know what i'll say is sacrilegious around here but, i'm kinda satisfied with my Note 2. I do have my upgrades on account so I might be talking smack right now. Lets see what the hype machines can spit out from now til release. But I am eyeing the Note 10.1(4) though.... :angel:

All I want is our upgrade to 4.3 I am happy with my phone .....plus by the time I can upgrade my line the note 5 will be out lol

I will be getting the Note 3 later on this year or next when all of the bugs have been fixed. As for the watch, I rather get my hands on Google Glass when it's released to the masses!!!

That's true like the first batches of the first nexus 7 the glass was lifting up and also they never went in to sleep even with the screen off.. .. I know I have one it dies with or without using it .. I regret getting one of the first ones

My note 2 since the day I got it the bezel was popping out a little it didnt bother me till it keep getting worst but sprint said that couldn't do anything about since I took it back a month after... No drops or nothing it has a crack now were the earphone socket is... But not every one gets a bad one . my gf got a white one and nothings wrong with hers and we got them the same day but my cousin got one a week before me and it has a lot of problems..

That does explain your post as nexus phones are vanilla android and dont have skins to deal with. Just give devs time to acquire this phone as its definetly more expensive to purchase than nexus line.
