XDA Hacked?

I have started getting phishing emails to the unique email address I supplied when I created my account here. I have seen this in the past when after SquareEnix and Garlic Jim's had their systems hacked.
I have been getting a lot of emails as well.
Is your email the same as your username?
I drink, yet you're the one in AA.
May I ask what kind of emails you are receiving? Like, what are they saying?
Also, make sure that the URL for these forums are forum.xda-developers.com. If it's different to that, it's possible you could be on a clone site, as we've seen plenty of them pop up over the time.

In my case the email was to [email protected]. So it is possible that somebody randomly guessed it but it seams unlikely.

The first email I revived using the xda login email address I provided was a phishing email saying that they were from Blizzard and that my Diablo 3 account was being investigated for fraud so I should login with the supplied links. Since I had not played Diable 3, I chose not to click the links
maybe you put your email on a thread on xda, and spammers found it??
My email is my username at Gmail. But their spam filter seems to catch everything. Why create an email just to use for xda unless you've been banned before and need another account?

While I don't know about anybody else, I for the most part utilize plus addressing. It tells me the source of SPAM and can be instantly black-holed.

Have a look here for some information regarding plus addressing with Gmail along with using dots in the username part of the address. Regardless of the method used, you can create a filter to auto-delete the specific offending address if its compromised; and, you know the where it was obtained if you use one or both of the methods to register a different e-mail at each Web site.

Worked fine for me when I just checked your profile and history and posts. It may have been a temporary issue.
I don't believe XDA has been hacked. I think it is more likely that a few people accidentally posted their email address in the clear and a screen scraper bot picked them up, or maybe they didn't realize their email contact info was shared through their profile.

Tapatalk UN-subscribes threads when posting

First i hope that i am in the correct forum. If not please move. Thanks
Well it seams that i am not the only one with this strange problem.
Sometimes i got UN-subscribed to threads without doing it by my self.
Now i found out that this seams to happen when posting in a subscribed thread with Tapatalk.
Anyone else can confirm this? Any solution or a Tapatalk problem? Never had this problem before!
Well, its been reported by me already here..

All my other forums which I access with tapatalk app is not having the issue..
And what's more.. the same version which was working fine before is having this issue now.. and also xda app is having same issue...
I know xda app is derived from tapatalk.. but , same app which used to work fine till a day & suddenly this happens... and that too only at xda this happens.. so, it must be xda issue?

Not really - Tapatalk makes the XDA app AND the site bridge entirely - we don't change it... So I think if there is an issue, they would be the ones who would need to address it.

It's not even just when editing a post, it can be happening randomly.
Even after looking at the different threads I've been unsubscribed from, there's no solid pattern to it at all.

Well, I had same thought before... but from last few days or may be after updating tapatalk to 2.4.8
I'm getting unsubscbrided all the time when I edit a post..
But when I post a new post, its not unsubscribing me anymore..
So, I thought its caused only when its edited posts are submitted...
You are still unsubscribe when posting new posts?

and i reported there.. may be people having same problem can report there too...

Tapatalk not working.

Updated the app to the latest version and I'm now unable to access forum in tapatalk. Tried to restore my old tapatalk also, to no avail Site or tapatalk problem? Few days back I got login unavailable for a few times, then tried logging on with forum credentials, now it's just sitting there, loading.
same here...
using XDA Lab working but not much features there recently.
+1 and did not update Tapatalk. Seems this may be an XDA issue and not a Tapatalk issue, but I sure want to blame this on the Tapatalk folks.
I've got the login error since yesterday, though user/pass are definitely right.
I've got the same issue on both my mobile phones, however using the same credentials on the web works.
Same here.
What is happening?
So I'm not the only one At least XDA-apps do work, although they're based on tapatalk, IIRC. I'd just like all my forums in one place...
So who's responsible for fixing it? I just realized how much I actually use it
Same here
Same here. When I try to open an xda link in tapatalk, I get this error: "This forum is not available in Tapatalk. Please contact your forum admin.". So here I am! Brgds!
Strange we havent got more people in this thread.. but the comments on playstore say it all..
something is broke on XDA or Tapatalk side..
I am getting a message to "whitelist" Tapatalk in my adblocking software.. as if thats going to happen.. not..
but still cant get in to XDA via tablet or phones using Tapatalk.. but no worries in to other forums..
looks like someone needs to stick thier heads in to the code and squash that bug..
Same here. No problems accessing other sites

Same here. I receive notifications about new responses of threads, but i can't open them. Checked X10 my login details. Added tapatalk and xda sites in whitelist - without success. I'll try to revert back to an older ver. until the problem is resolved. I hope that this will happen soon.
Same, cannot access XDA via tapatalk.
I first noticed it after updating tapatalk yesterday...

Ok, strange thing:
if I go to your link (forum homepage) I see a page ("before.jpg" attached on this page).
Then I click on "Subscribed" (I have only seen it now... It seems to me some ad-thing before...)
Now, if I go back to homepage I see another page ("after.jpg" attached)
Maybe something cache/cookie related thing...
Anyway, the first time is "hard" to find "Subscribed" button (IMHO)...

Actually, I normally using style XDA 2013 Beta, and I only switched to XDA 2015 in order to take the screenshots for you. But it doesn't matter, which style you use, consider to go to your "User Control Panel" (https://forum.xda-developers.com/usercp.php) and the subscribed threads will be shown like on my screenshot (ok, on that page only the unread (called "new") ones will be shown). But when on that page in the "New Subscribed Threads" row you'll find "View all Subscribed Threads". A click there brings you to an overview of all your subscribed threads, which you can also bulk-manage from there.
You can also reach your User Control Panel by clicking on "Settings" (third screenshot, lower right).
