This is built on CyanogenMod 7. Thanks to Cyanogen and others!
Ive removed some apps and applied some tweaks to the original mod to make it faster and lighter.

Instructions:
First time flashing this rom to the HTC Vision, or coming from another ROM?
Root the device and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM.
Format the system, data & cache partitions of your device.
Perform a factory reset.
Flash rom.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.
Reboot your device.

Definitely going to try this rom out but I have one question. If the themes apk has been removed, is it impossible to flash to a different cm7 theme on this rom like you can on the main cm7 rc2?

Wonderful job putting this all together. One question: some icons displayed are different that what I actually ended up with, e.g., email icon '@' and the apps laucher. How is this done?

I haven't removed the theme chooser but the themes which come with the rom..

My God, I finally found my perfect rom. Only the customizations I need, AOSP based, fast & stockish. The only thing I don't like so far is the Holo-Black App Picker (the dialog box for "Choose an app to complete this action"). Why not stockish white? The same for MMS app.
Except for this minor flaws, I'm sincerily happy!

always liked nitroglicerine's rom,and saved me many times settings properly java on mint to set up build environment.go guys and have a look at his support forum!

Sorry, but you are not going to see white menus with Eclipse. I have always made inverted/dark themed roms.

failed flash
Can not get them to flash. It keeps saying failed flash can some one help.. Ive tried to wipe system and factory reset.. nothing.. HELP

Just flashed this rom with no problems. Used twrp 2.6.3.4 and flashed the rom and gapps together. So far everything seems to be working.
The only bug that i found is when u go into Settings -- Display, it crashed the settings. You can't go into Display Settings.
Knock On works // Knock Off doesn't
Love the smoothness and Nav Bar settings. Just wish there was a way to auto hide the navbar.

Language and Input settings also crashes when trying to change keyboard settings.
Just discovered the Navbar options and they're amazing. Exactly what I needed. You can add buttons to Navbar and I personally missed the Search button so I added that.
Knock off doesn't work but the next best thing is adding a Screen Off button in Ring buttons settings. Also you can add an Expand Full Screen button that hides navbar and status bar, which is perfect for reading apps. You can toggle by swiping a little from bottom or top OR you can exit Full Screen mode with ring button.
Also, the dialer codes like ##DATA# don't work. I dunno if that option is only available in stock rom

The ##codes are stock only
*#*#4636#*#* should do the trick for you.

Out of all the ports, the OSE looks to be the most feature rich and bug-free. The Display and Input settings work fine for OSE

Tried to run a stock camera and it fc.
The stock camera app is a lot better than android's app. especially in night / low light settings
If it had that. This would be my main ROM.

Great ROM gentlemen. Love the intro screens. Very slick. Built in tweaks are awesome as well. I have a couple of questions:
1. Am I the only one having trouble with the messaging app not applying the dark ui?
2. If I open the messaging app, then select attach- capture picture, it all seems to work correctly. I send the pic and all is fine. However, the pic is not saved anywhere in my phone. I have to then go into the message, long press and click save attachment. Am I missing something? Or is that just the way it works. In the stock Samsung messaging app, the picture is automatically saved. The messaging app also does not see email addresses in the contacts, another thing the stock app does.
Anyway....love the ROM. Nice to have some competition for Temasek, slim and probam.

Only "bug" I've found so far, is that if you try to choose your profile picture with the built in gallery app, it will just keep looping and ask you to choose again. We had some issues with themes. We are working on getting it integrated.

Thats just the behavior with messaging app. As for Dark UI, it will be looked into. Thanks

In all seriousness, why do you feel the need to tell people why you aren't going to use a ROM that they created. If it's missing features that you can't live without then just move on.

Loving it very smooth and fast thanks OP only thing I found is when trying to switch to ART instead of DALVICK it just looped but not that big of a problem it flies as is than for you're work

I thought i was crazy. but i reformatted twice. anybody getting the same notification over and over again . I mean i pick a different sound for a ring tone and notification and its the same sound no matter what i pic. Anybody having this issue. And yes Lock screen updates please.

Lock screen notifications are back on 04/03 nightly and I'm not having any notification issues.maybe that app that is notifying?

Going to give this a try when I get home, I've tried nearly all the 4.4 roms but haven't looked at this one yet. One question, does this have the stock CM kernel?

I'm trying this for the first time and can't find the settings for window animation speed ? Not in dev options like it usually is?

On 4/15 and 4/16 it wouldn't apply themes for me but I had just done a dirty flash

I am on the 4/16 and just went and tried again, themes work just fine for me. Have you tried applying the system theme and rebooting?

Anybody else setting data drops on the 4/20 build? Restored my 4/17 nandroid and it works fine.

I had it on 4/21 but it actually wasn't having data drops, just signal display issues, I did a clean install and it fixed it, do you know where the option to make the system apps black?
