Launcher3 to Trebuchet? [Solved] - LG Optimus G (International)

Hi there,
I was wondering where I can get the original Launcher3 from Cyanogenmod 11? For some reason, the new version for this month remove Launcher3 and replace it with their Trebuchet launcher, with is just horrible as you can't customized rows and columns and so forth.
I see other Launchers, it might be free, but there is a paid function. The Launcher3 does the job, but losing it on the new update kinda sucks...

if it's in your down Android installer should pick it up, if it's not there use a file explorer like CM Manager, Astro or something else find it and open it and Android install will start.

Hi there,

Adb, very simple (you must have the driver installed). Just activare USB debugging and connect the phone.
Open START.bat and write adb devices to check if your phone is recognized. Then, adb install Launcher3.apk and that's it. (it will install in /data not in /system).. few more commands if you want as system app.

Hi there,
I managed to get it to work, but it keeps posted "[INSTALL_FAILED_ALREADY_EXISTS]". That didn't work...

Means that you've already install it, go to Setting / Home and chose it as default.

Hi there,
I did, all it shows is the "Google Now" and "Trebucet". Maybe it was left from the previous install?

Maybe.. First try to completly uninstall it from Settings, then open again adb and try to install as system app.
adb root
adb shell mount -o rw,remount /system
adb push Launcher3.apk /system/app
adb reboot
Hope this time works properly.

Try unistalling from adb then.
adb uninstall Launcher3.apk
And then follow previous commands to install it as system app.

Hi there,
Nope, that didn't work. *lol* Got a Read-only error. Blah, I'll revert it back. *lol* Too complicated for me...

Hi there,
Ah, I finally found a solution. I uploaded the Launcher3.apk into the zip folder in the system/priv-app then install the zip file via bootloader and it works. *lol* It was a flute.

Or just download Root browser from the playstore?
Then move file to /system, change permissions to rw-r-r

SuperSU performs the usual duties of managing superuser access, unroot with a few added benefits, including logging superuser access, temporary, and it even works in recovery. Here is the complete list of features:
Features:
Superuser prompt superuser access access logging superuser access notifications unroot per-app notification configuration Temporary deep process-detection (no strangers) works in recovery (no more memory access error) will work if Android is not booting properly Works with non-standard shell locations trusts ADB connection is always in the Ghost Mode Wake-on prompt
The Pro version also offers:
OTA Survival mode (no guarantee) Full color-coded command logging content (input / output / error) per app logging configuration per-app user override PIN protection

Help Mounting Remote Samba/CIFS Shares (persistent)

So basically I'm rooted and Busybox installed trying to use XBMCTORRENT and getting the unmounted shares error
So trying to mount my remote shares using this command while adb shell and su:
mount -o noperm,unc=\\\\192.168.0.21\\putsharenamehere,username=putusernamehere,password=putpasswordhere -t cifs none /mnt/obb/nas
I get this error ermission denied
Also tried a lot of apps like CifsManager and Mount Manager but none of those worked either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No folders "writable" according to titanium backup

I just gained s-off after rooting, have gigs of space everywhere, super user this, super su that, busy box(why all these apps anyway?)... All other apps can write wherever, now that I'm rooted. Anywhere is settings it looks for folders to save backups says folder isn't writable. I have no custom rom yet as I've not backed anything up. Googled this but apparently I'm the only person in the world with this doozy. Any ideas?

Yes I've root. I'll try again, but I will note that I had those but since they didn't help with TB I just uninstalled them, and remember, that code already is there. So I don't know what there is to try next.
When you want to delete files with es you need to set root permissions in the app itself.
Tools - set root on - also tap it once to enable the R/W rights

Try these... dependencies, don't go too nuts.
Many apks just sit there unless needed. Be especially careful with many small Samsung system apps that modify the UI.

Workaround anyway to set Play Store as default app store?
I guess no one facing the issue like this, only my device then :/
So you have to disable permission monitoring in colorOS to be able to run adb commands. It's in developer options.

me too... there are some packages like com.oplus.ota that you can not disble/uninstall....
i've searched everywere in forums but there are no solutions :-(
Same issues here with Realme 10 Pro+. Uninstalled several bloatware apps but App Market, Browser and Wallet resist unistallation and disabling.
