If u turn on ur GPS and it always stayed on 'looking for GPS' dont worry it's not broken it still turns on..
So, After flashing different basebands i have solved my gps issue with one simple solution.. FLASHING BACK TO ICS KDZ AND RESTORING MY original EFS backup(from fresh stock ICS also when i got the phone)
I will put links here for the F180 models.
Sorry i cant find any e975 ICS KDZ's

Hi, I tried to install X-Rome 3.2, everything was ok but I had no signal.
I tried to restart / reinstall / change modem and then I installed Moon Rom.
Still no signal, seems that the IMEI is not good but I don't know how to fix it.
I made an EFS backup before I rooted my phone but my PC crashed and I lost it.

Hey, I found myself in the exact situation. My SIM was fine, my phone worked normally, then only today I realised I could not sen texts or make calls.
3-4 days ago i installed X-Note ROM, not sure if the ROM did something or not. But I restored my stock nandroid image and problem persiste - no service
Would really appreciate any advice form our experts
fixed
So I ended up restoring my EFS image (glad I backed it up) and that sorted my phone out. Nothing else had helped. I thought maybe it was modem related but nope.
If you can't find your IMEI data you may be screwed. Good luck.
Hi,
First of all apologies - I know this isn't dev but I wanted to post in here hoping that someone will see this and reply quickly.
I've just purchased a new nexus 5 and was about to sell my GNEX (literally later today) but have somehow managed to corrupt my <naughty word> efs partition.
Could someone please be kind enough to tell me what files they see in /factory. I think I have a non standard backup of the files but I'm not 100% sure what to do with them (yet).
Thanks in advance!
Ah balls Looks like I figured how how to restore my backup of the files but it still has the generic IMEI

Odin to stock. Or...if u have any any working nandroids at all simply restore that partition only.

I've tried odin to stock but it didn't fix the generic IMEI issue - I used odin files from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2065470
I did select the PIT file
Should this have fixed the issue?
Efs.img in my gnex was in
/Dev/block/platform/omap/omap_hsmmc.0/by-name
I sold my gnex, but I can ask for screenshots of factory folder if you want
I will post as sono as possible

4.1.2 JB. i reinstalled JB after this happens.but nothing fixed.and thanks man for trying to help
Which? Mg2? Mf1? My baseband was mg2, but i had flashed mh1, so i had no network. I guess it might work for you, if not, i dont know any other options, sorry

i tihnk my baseband is broken.anway to fix it ? i use I8160XXME7_I8160OJVME2_HOME.tar stock
Try mg2

I installed I8160XXME7_I8160OJVME2_HOME.tar .still baseband XXXX but there is mobile data connection.3 g is active.lol
I am having the same issue, I can't turn on mobile data on any ROM. I tried stock, cm, aokp, etc. Lots of them, inculding the above mentioned XXME7. Sim card works on any other phone, with same APN. Please help me, I love this phone, and don't want to throw it to trash.
I am currently on ZVA with ZVA radios but "
ZVC firmware". I'm not really a noob when it comes to flashing a ROM and such but this has me stumped. Never before have I been instructed to install a 600kb firmware file as I was in the stock rooted ZVC thread in the android development section.
I followed that thread to the t as you should when messing around with Roms. I made a backup, flashed the radios and the firmware file provided then cleared the dalvik and cache. I then attempted flashing the ROM and got an error which was common among others. I tried redownloading with no avail and restored my backup, downgraded my radios back to ZVA and cleared the caches again. My phone worked well for a day but now my auto rotation and auto brightness are not working. I cleared the cache again and restored the same backup again but they still aren't working.
I read that the firmware file was backward compatible but I now have reason to believe that it is not. I'll provide the file below in case anybody is interested and because it may help to solve this problem but I really hope this is fixable because I see no auto rotation as a rather big problem.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I fixed the problem by downloading from different mirrors until the md5 checked out. Ignore post.

I've recently returned to stock ROM due to the camera issues on any custom ROM for the LG G4.
I've now ran in to a problem where my Bluetooth won't activate, I activate through settings, the button flips to the right as if it goes to activate but switch doesn't turn dark grey and it stays that way.

Going to another screen and coming back to settings shows that Bluetooth is switched off.
I've got a logcat dump but I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for.

I can see it's having errors but I'm not sure what to do about it - is anyone able to help?
Many thanks!
I'm having this exact same problem now with my G4...
Did you end up fixing it?
i think i had the same problem before.. flashing with LGUP using refurbished fix it... or try a factory reset..

then its sounds like a hardware problem.. sorry.
Fix
Do a full wipe.
Flash the stock rom via twrp (20d prerooted).
And then flash stock rom via LGUP or install any other custom rom and it should work. I had this problem many times and this method always worked for me
