This is CandyKat. Built straight from SlimRoms source with commits from a variety of different sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM. We have also come up with the Candy Sweetener Pack. This is an Aroma installer that is full of delicious treats. Inspired by the CandyShop thread on XDA it has everything from glow dots to halo mods.

Candy Kernel
Here's a little something to sweeten up your candy!
This is compiled using the GCC 4.7 ToolChain
From CyanogenMod source using the m7 kernel source!
Compiled by a great guy named Disconnecktie!

CyanogenMod source: Can be found here!
FYI: This kernel should work just fine for any aosp ROM. Its use is not limited to just CandyKat.

I can't say enough about Slim. I've been using it for several months, picking up a new update every Sunday (or Monday).
One discovery I just made is the ability to remap the otherwise useless HTC Logo to act as a Menu button, which is useful for older apps that do not offer the (now standard) three-dot menu invoker.
I'd have expected to do that under Settings->Navigation->Hardware Buttons, but it's done elsewhere: Settings->Advanced options->Device->Touchscreen->Enable.

I made a kernel from the old m7 cm kernel source to fix that but it breaks call audio. It'll be like that until cm fixes their new kernel or until I have time to work on that kernel some more.

Main things:
1.) quick toggles in notification pulldown
2.) ability to set the quicksetting toggle to automatically come up when swiped from top-right.
3.) multiple slider shortcuts
Even the kill-all button (which is enabled by default) has a nice, polished animation.
Seems very smooth. Hoping battery life is just as awesome as everything else.
I guess all my pics and music got left behind on the sdcard since now I'm on sdcard/0 . is there any to get it back with out flashing a 4.1.2 ROM again ?
Thanks

If you're comfortable doing so, use a file manager app like 'Root Explorer' and move the files

Probably too early to tell, but I'd be anxious to hear how the battery life is. Seems like my battery life has taken a nose dive, no matter what 4.2.1 ROM I install.
Does this have chrome or the stock browser
I really like the stock one
Guess I'll give it a chance

Reflashing will fix the mount points. It doesn't matter if you're on latest twrp or cwm, both have been patched for 4.2.1. If you're trying to go back to 4.1 the only move you should attempt is
Adb shell (within recovery)
mv /data/media/0/* /data/media
You may or may not need to
rm -r /data/media/0
After you've made sure your files moved

Unfortunately I only own the tf300t model and it would be beyond my skill level to setup an RIL without owning a TF300TG. it should work for your model but there would be no 3g support
CleanROM with kernel for (G) model works fine. Maybe I could just look for the proper libs/system parts, and by adding them to this Rom and flashing (G) kernel after it may work. Just asking for opinion from the dev, how do you think, will it work that way?
Thank you.
Got the answer. It is impossible.
Thank you one more time.

I like PA simply for the level of customization available. I'm not one to theme etc, but the visual options become very attractive once you've experienced them (i was skeptical, and wrong). that being said, haven't taken this version for a whirl yet, just hopped on cm10.1. once all settles, i will likely come home to PA

Always asked myself the same question.
Sent from The Beast using Tapatalk 2
This is not the question for me as I love the features like per-app DPI, per-App status bar, this PA colours for Navbar and so on - only thing I don't like is that I don't get many updates (especially in kernel as ROM doesn't seem to have many bugs)
Do we have TabletUI available on this ROM?

well the lack of updates is due to the recent project that the lead developers have taken on, (AOSPA) which is closed source. once paranoid 3.0 is open source, development will be up and running in full force. and to answer the other question, yes tablet UI is available with this ROM.

Dirty flash over CM10.1 is possible yes, if you have any problems just wipe, make sure to make a backup just in case! also, as I am not privy to the source as of now, I do not know how far along they are, so no eta from me sorry!
Also, new mirror is up, I got too much traffic on my dropbox account so I switched to google drive for now(hopefully goo.im approves my application soon!)
Is the tablet mode on this, exactly like 4.1 Jellybean or does it have any 4.2 UI elements left in?

real enticed to flash this,
only reason im not fully onboard with aosp are
camera is not nearly as good as stock and
are there any volume tweaks that work?
Also how is battery life?
I flash a vol mod on touchwiz and really makes a diff
(for those who might ask here is link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1722136) use 60 max cause others just distort

Gummy ROM is made for speed, stability and to stay as closely in line with AOSP as possible while still supporting a large amount of devices and giving you all of the features you love. It isn’t slowed down by features you’ll never use nor is it so slim as to be just another AOSP build.*
Do not use pa full gapps with this ROM you will lose your camera.. instead use the ones included in the link below
Note: If you want GoogleHome (with the option to swipe to the left to get to GoogleNow) It can be found here.. To install just install like any other app (no need to put it in your system/app dir)
Features:

* Status Bar Mods
* Hardware Key Mod
* Many Wallpapers
* Performance Control
* Application Permission Controls
* Carrier Label Options
* Lock clock widget

Contributions:
- Thank you to Cyanogenmod for device and hardware repositories. Without this, porting * * Gummy to QCOM devices would have been nearly impossible.

Yeah this thing is super smooth and polished.... That said the word beta should be overlooked, great work again!

Are all the features that are stated indeed built in right now? This looks like the same thread as the JB Gummy just slightly altered for KK.. I'm hoping they are there and it's as smooths as Fly's CM11, we need some more action!!!! Thanks, and great work!! Gonna back up CM now and see what's good.
Flawless.... But I can't find the theme engine.

One thing i dont see is the data arrows showing when the phone is using data and i couldnt get the wifi tether to work. Other than that, everything seems to be working fine. Its a beta, so i am sure these will get fixed soon. Thanks for the ROM.
Edit: Nevermind on the tether, it finally connected.
Had to turn OFF wifi and then back on to get it working.
