(Q) how to change build.prop? - Sony Xperia ZL

Hello guys!!
well i've been trying to put my own buld.prop on my xperia ZL locked BL and it's running android 4.2.2 (rooted), the thing is that every time i try to put it, the freaking phone gets a bootloop, my question: Is there any way to put my own build.prop?
Thank you so much

Could you try editing what you want to on your phone? For example using a file explorer, navigating to the build.prop allowing root access and open it in some form of note editor, usually included in a file explorer app and then try it. You probably get a bootloop because the build.prop you put in has incorrect permissions. I have made many changes to mine through this method and haven't (yet) had any issues. Though I do understand if you are making many modifications it is hard on your phone so you could try editing on your computer, pushing to SD card, moving to system and make sure the one you replace with has the same permissions.

Is it permission 644 that is needed?

[Q] Is it possible to disable screenshots?

The screenshots feature (Vol down + Power) is cool, but I have brought the Samsung car dock for the phone, and practically every time I put it into the dock, it takes a screenshot.
Is there an option to disable it?
Not sure but you might try deleting one of those files that say screenshot or screencap. Or renaming then to be .bak files.

[BOOT ANIMATION] Quietly ninja'd

I wanted to share something I was playing around with last night. Hopefully I will get more time to work on more.
Steps I used to use this:
Copy boot animation to sd card - leave file name as is
Using root explorer, rename your current vzw_bootup.zip located at System\Customize\Resource to vzw_bootup.old
Using root explorer, copy new boot animation to System\Customize\Resource
Using root explorer, change permissions on new boot animation to 644

You must be S-Off to use.
I test all of my stuff on my personal phone before posting

New Motherboard SM-T310, How to get rid of pop up System Information ?

I replaced the mainboard of Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 SM-T310, it's new and no serial programmed in it. However, the pop up of system information keeps popping up and blocking the screen.
I tried re flash the newest stock ROM but not able to get rid of it. It's really annoying as it blocks the whole screen. Any help is appreciated.

Don't have access to a folder on sdcard

On my internal sdcard I have a folder called stuff that I made to put rom zips in. For some reason I cannot create new folder's, delete files or anything. The only way I can modify what's in that folder is to go into TWRP and do it through there. Anyone know a fix?
I would guess that you have folder/file permissions issues. There will be many file managers that will display the permissions eg Root Explorer/Explorer ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.explorer.

Explanation of the rwxrwxrwx strings see https://www.linux.com/learn/understanding-linux-file-permissions
Since you have no access then you either need to use the app that created the folder or you need to be root. Root Explorer will allow you to edit the rights as root.
This is what happens whenever I try to change the permissions.
Without searching for an explanation of the error message - does TWRP use its own partition? With root permissions I'd expect to be able to open any folder and copy any files to a new folder. I'm no expert on partitions and file systems so no more suggestions from me other than looking for a TWRP forum.

How install app as system app

i try install continuum on my device, but I installed a newer version than I have on my phone. i did hard reset and delete files using cmd. today i try install this package yourself. I copied files, and write small phyton sctipt(to convert xml manifest in to bat) to export registry values. now continuum work fine but dockingHostApp сrashes at launch.
I know continuum it a system app, but i no ideas how install it as system app.
PS. I have problems in other app like Interop tool(from store) and iotDefaultApp, they write error 8007005 (access error)
PS2. if I find a way to make this application work, everyone will be able toinstall and UNINSTALL contunuum without iutools
