Unable to update my apps - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

This has been an ongoing issue for several months now. Sometimes I have no problem at all, then all of a sudden I'll start getting a couple of error messages BM-PPH-01 and RPC:S-3. I've tried the following steps to no avail
Cleared data and cache for Google play store, Google services framework, and Google play services
Removed my Google account and added it back
None of that has helped
I've even gone as far as factory resetting my device
I've been going back and forth with Google play support to no end since May of last year
Any help would be appreciated

[Q] Google Play Services crashing frequently

My VZW Galaxy Note 4 is doing this.
So Far I've :'
Remove the updates for your Google Play -- Go to the menu–>settings–>apps–>all–>google play store–> uninstall updates, then reboot your device.
Remove the cache for your Google Play -- Go to the menu–>settings–>apps–>all–>google play store–> remove cache, then try to run your google play again. It is better to do a reboot.
Try to delete your google account and add your google account again -- Go to the menu -> settings -> account remove your current google account then add it again here.
Then, when none of that crap worked I wiped my phone. I didn't restore any apps...and the Google Play Services still crashes.
Makes me a sad. What can I do?
I started seeing the same thing 2 days ago but it seems to be tapering off now.

"Google Play services have stopped" FIRE PHONE

I am receiving this pop-up error as well as a couple of other Google errors. I have an Amazon Firephone 64 GB through Straight Talk, and have the Google Play Store on it. I've tried clearing the cache on all of my Google Play apps, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling all of the Google play apps. Still get this error whenever Google play is active on my phone. The Google play apps still work, but I can hardly use my phone because the pop ups are so bad. Anyone know how to fix this? This just started a few days ago. Thanks.
Edit: Also, my phone is NOT rooted/jailbroken! I'd like to see if I can fix this problem without doing that.
Yup. Me too
I have been having the same behavior from my phone as well. It occurred when I let the battery die down so low it shut off. When it was recharged and started, it began exhibiting the "Google Play services have stopped" error. Clearly the reboot was the problem. Also, I can confirm my phone has not received any new updates.

Can't connect to any Google service

Hello Guys,
I bought the OnePlus 3 and after using it for maybe 30 minutes I started experiencing "Google Play is not answering" messages while I was downloading the apps I wanted - I wanted to start fresh, not migrate from my OnePlus One. I contacted support, they told me that I should do a hard reset - I did wipe data and cache with the factory reset option, and since then the phone is not passing the "checking connection" phase. After a while I can skip it, and the wifi is working fine - I can browse, log in to Facebook i.e., however for Google services (Chrome, Play Store) I cannot connect, I cannot add my Google account, so basically nothig Google related is working. Do you guys have any idea how this can be, and what can happen?
Other question: Support told me to replace the phone, they want it back now... will I get a replacement immediately, or will I need to wait for weeks with my money pending? How is this with OnePlus, do you have any experience?
I'm having the same problem with Google services, can't sign in to any of the Google Apps.
Any solution?

Google Play services are updating

I don't know what happened but a few days ago Google Play Services stopped working. Now apps like Grab throw the error "Google Play services are updating" and Google Home won't work because the account list is tied to Play services. I've tried clearing cache, uninstalling updates for Play services but nothing is working. On C636 patch.

Was getting something similar, but it's affecting in-app items that depend on google play services, like maps and locatons. Just shows " Google Play Services are updating". Started roughly a week ago. Apparently it's an issue with Maps being affected on Huawei / Honor devices. Seems we'll be getting a fix in a few weeks.

EVR-AL00 EMUI 10 Google Bug?

My wife have updated the phone to 10.0.0.185 and got some issues with loading apps related to Google.
Example:
- Google photos won't load/keeps loading
- Google drive won't load/keeps loading
- YouTube won't load/keeps loading
- Google Play sometimes not work correctly
- Backup WhatsApp via Google Drive won't work.
- Sometimes issue with WiFi/mobile internet
It seems I got issue with all Google products..
Someone got these issues?
Kind regards
I don't have these issues on mine. Can't verify the WhatsAppp issue since I don't use this app. The only google issue I have is that I am unable to use Google Assistant via OK google or Hey Google since I can't activate voice match.
I suggest you try to do a Factory Reset.

Sent from my HUAWEI EVR-AL00 using XDA Labs
I used to have the same issues after doing a factory reset. Before factory reset, everything worked on EMUI 10. I'm on TL00. Now I'm back on 9.0.0.200.
I have the exact same problems - haven't tried factory reset yet. Seems that some (mostly Google) services cannot reach their servers, or only on mobile data, not on wifi...
I'll probably try the factory reset later today...
SOLVED
OK, I've done a factory reset, restored my backup and it seems to have worked - at least Photos seem to be uploading.
Have .APKs ready for Google Play Store, Chrome, things like SwiftKey keyboard...
EDIT: Yep, everything's working fine after factory reset.
Have you managed to solve this? I'm on 10.0.0.148 and I'm experiencing exact same issues. The phone came preinstalled with Android Pie and I had Google Play Store installed via GMS Installer 1.2.
I have upgraded to Android 10 and received build 10.0.0.188 and this rendered Play Store unusable. The app stopped to initialize. I couldn't login into my Google account anymore, and Play Store started to show that it is being installing some update.
I did a full reset, and everything gone wild. I noticed that if I install Google Play Store APK, some Google apps like Google GMail, Google Maps, Google Drive and Google Photos begin to work. I can even open Google profile properties from within these apps.
However, Google Books never works, it shows whore screen after being started indicating that it cannot connect to Google Servers. Also, news feed in Google Chrome works until you enable bookmark synchronization. Once you do that, the feed disappears and Chrome begins to indicate it will gonna show the news sometime later. Of course, this later time never comes.
At the same time, if you open Google account synchronization settings, you'll notice Chrome synchronization indicates that it works, however GMail and Contacts fall to synchronize.
Also Contracts are listed twice in synchronization status as if there were two Contacts apps on the phone. I only have Huawei contacts, I did no install Google Contacts.
If I install Google Contacts, or Google Framework Services, or Google Play Services, or Google Books, then immediately after installing these apps Google contact synchronization brakes. All Google apps stop seeing internet connection. Opening profile shows the phone is offline. Also, if I logout from Google account, I'm never able to login any of the Google app into the account. None of the apps is able to connect to Google contact services anymore. I even tried to install Google Contact Sync APK, but this didn't help. Nothing but reset helps.
Do I have to revert to PIE to make Google Services sync work?
