Guys, in sleep mode, even with WiFi & Auto Sync OFF, the battery drains almost 10% through the whole night.
Last night it drained from 99% to 91% through the night without any usage.
Can someone throw some light on this issue?

2 possible scenarios: 1. You just sleep to much 2. You have a app installed (taskmanager battery saver?) that dont let your HOX sleep well

If it is just a widget and not a battery saver, then no, i dont think so. Are you sure it is just a widget?
Do you have some other system-tuner-apps installed ?

Yep; all it is, is a battery widget that I installed from the market. Here is the link:

Any similar free apps?
Hello, betterbatterystats is one of the most useful apps to check what drains your battery.
Basically you only check "Process wakelocks" and see which application "wakes" too often your phone.
Charge your phone and just before going to sleep, remove the charger.
BetterBatteryStats will take this action to start logging wakelocks ( default behaviour )
and in the morning, open BBS and see what process use too many wakelocks.

Did a quick check but didn't see one.
I strongly believe paying for applications that really add value to your phone to help developers continue their apps. Compared to the time you save by finding out which app is consuming battery the price tag of the applications is next to nothing.
I used betterybatterystats and it showed me that bluetooth was enabled. No where else did it show this, i restarted the phone and its no longer enabled. worth downloading if you have issues with the battery!
hello everybody, thanks for coming out tonight!
the problem:
no matter how much i leave my wildfire charging, it DOES NOT REACH 100% and the percentage that it reads at most is 70%
this problem occurred after i used Battery Callibration app to calibrate my battery (i tried to calibrate cause i thought that it reads wrong percentage)
is there ANYONE helping me out please?
p.s. i have root access and i have tried hard reseting (bootloader clear storage) and format \cache \boot \system \data in recovery and all......... nothing helped! i also tried several roms including cm7.2 and RUUs. non of them helped.
That is a hardware issue, most of us including me face this issue.I'm sorry, there's no real solution for it.

thanks for the answer dude
how come this is a hardware issue? we went through a software-related procedure and now it is about hardware!? i mean we didn't change the input voltage... did we??? it's really odd to me.
did it happen for ur phone after using Battery Calibration app?
what if i change the battery, does it make it right like before?
another thing to consider is what Battery Monitor Widget Pro shows. it says that my battery at most is filled with 900 mAh out of its 1300 mAh nominal capacity!!
what exactly does this app do??

I dont think that battery calibration app caused this..There mst be some flaw with our motherboard or may be it caused due to voltage fluctuations.I saw people changing batteries which didnt help.I dont know but no matter what you do,the problem is just there.

In that case I would make a backup and flash a complete stock rom (including stock kernel and a full wipe). It is the kernel that does the power management.
P.s.
Happy new year!

and yesss i removed that goddamn batterystats.bin several times!
and i used several kernels:
-stock
-nfinity
-HCDR
i have also used several stock and custom roms
and in clockworkmod recovery i also tried removing battery stats, wiped data/factory reset, wiped cache partition, formated boot & system & data & cache. none of them helped!
p.s. i wish you all the best in the new year, happy new year bro

well i don't know mate! maybe it wasn't that app. but for me using that app was the only time that i toyed with the battery!
[no need to mention that: i strongly believe that all the works of our developers are good steps they take and it's the cool point of the open source thing.
sure i accepted the fact that i am the only one responsible before implementing any of this tweaks and now i am just asking for help.
and again i'm sure that they accept all the shortcomings of their work and they may try harder to get it right ]

This isnt a rom issue at all,it just happens with every custom or stock rom. This is the reason I blame the hardware.

i was talking about the community of developers, guys like you, who try to make better use of devices and i totally appreciate it.
but there are always some bugs and flaws which is normal and i guess this percentage reading is one of those bugs. now what should i do?

if it had something to do with the rom or even the kernel, flashing a ruu should have fixed it.
As others say, I also expect it to be hardware related, perhaps the app somehow changed certain voltage parameters and overburned/underburned/eated your battery cappacity. But I just stumbled upon this, and thought you might as well give it a try.
Good luck!

why 2 threads?
Anyway, it happens the same with me. I wouldn't be so worried about it. If your battery isn't flat and your battery drain seems normal for the usage you give everything is fine. Must be some thing related to the kernel

As far as i remember, this thing doesn't only happens on cm11 but also with the previous cm10 or cm10.1. Someone asked about it and was answered (i can't remember who exactly, either @Madridii, @HURSTky @honeyx etc.) that it was normal. I think it's something about battery optimization or whattf

Prubably it was me Yes this is normal as on reboot many things are getting reset (whiped) so the ROM is loosing the exact information about the procentage and calculates it by looking at the battery voltage. This calculation is some kind of guessing and can´t be accurate. You will get more accurate readings after a while or by fully charging the battery.
