Hi all. I would love to know why my phone shows Internal Storage twice (see attached image). I've actually only got one internal storage so I'm a bit confused. When I access the phone on my computer through a USB connection the internal storage just appears as one block.
Samsung Galaxy S2 [GT-I9100] running ParanoidAndroid 3.60 (Android 4.2.2)

i bought a phone, had a stock rom with rom manager installed and no sd card. i flashed the stock rom and it works fine but a little slow, i noticed that when i plug into my computer and select disk drive, it only brings up the sd card and shows the phone but will not allow me to access it. also when i go to settings and then sd & phone storage under internal phone storage the total space and available space says "unavailable" . and under phone storage the total space is around 80MB and the availabe space is like 140MB wich is far lower than my other incredible. so i figured i would use the "format phone storage" and on this phone it is not highlighted so it is not even an option. i bought this to upgrade my girlfriends phone and she is using it but i just want to fix this problem. thanks in advance for any help.
Recently I had my galaxy s3 updated to cm10.1, and I'm loving the new features but I'm having some difficulties connecting the phone to the computer for file transfer. My computer does recognize the device, but when I click on it, and look in the internal storage, it shows that there are no files in there, even though there are. When I go in my file manager on my phone, there are 3 storage components: sd card (/storage/sdcard1), internal storage (/storage/emulated/0), and USB storage (storage/usbdisk0). I'm only able to access internal storage, and the rest it says "This operation requires elevated permissions. Try changing the Root Access mode." Not sure if this part is relevant, but just wanted to share. What do?
I faced a problem recently with my HTC One X. I'm running on Android 4.1.1 . Recently I copied some files on to my mobile using the USB cable from my system. The files copied successfully. But when I inserted the USB cable again I saw that the entire storage has been wiped out. I checked the properties and it shows that there is 1.9 GB of used space in the storage but I'm unable to see it. Also all the apps that store information on the memory card are wipe clean of data. It's like a fresh install of all the apps. Please tell me where and how I can find the missing files as there are many important files among them.:crying:

Hi I am kinda a noob so sorry if anything comes off stupid. I have an T-mobile Samsung Galaxy s4 (rooted) and whenever I connect it to my computer, which is running windows 7 64bit, it sees my internal memory, but not my external. I can see it in settings and I can in it with dropbox, file explorer and all those, but not my computer. I have usb bugging checked. I can also access it from TWRP. I formatted it I wiped all data, I looked through these forms but nothing. I also can't move any files to the internal storage from my computer. I have camera checked and not media. Oh and I am running 4.2.2 Google Edition Rom, if that helps. I also have a 16 gb external SD. All I can see in internal is DCIM and pictures. OOOHHHH man i feel really stupid sorry guys camera settings for usb blocks the external storage and that is why I couldn't find or transfer files. I have answered my own question and sorry for the trouble and noobiness.
