If you buy the game, then you won't have to worry about where to put the SD files.

One of two reasons
1. Have you put the data at the right place? should be /sdcard/gameloft
that refers to the SGS2's internal memory, not the actual removable sdcard
2. The data is corrupt or needs an update
you need to put the data to /sdcard/gameloft/games/Gloft????. The question marks is the shortform of the game for example Asphalt 6 is "GloftA6HP" and UNO is "GloftUNOG". Try your luck.
Thank's for reply all......
to viva.fidel: i put to this directory: /sdcard/gameloft/games....(because i see all the game folder is there.... in SGS2's internal memory.
to ghkoo:maybe bcoz of that....try it....
any suggestion where can find the HD games?

[Q]Moving Apps to SD (Move files method). Is it safe?

Hi,
so people told me to go to SdCard0>Android>Data/Obb and copy everything into extSDCard>Android>Data/Obb , so is it safe? from my knowledge of OSs (Linux and Windows) installation cannot be simply moved , because the registry stores the location , and when moving the registry doesn't keep track of this move. So is it safe and how does it work?
thanks
Use filemount . because just moving files to SDcard is useless .. You need something for binding to make the phone think the files are still at their place while actually they are on the externel sdcard .

[Q] How to install game with obb data in anroid 4.1.2 or Galaxy grand duos

If i dont have seen previous link for this topic,let me know;

problem is that: i dont have obb folder in anroid , if i make one and copy that folder ( com.sa....) in it , after playing game nothing happen.
I once downloaded game respawnable with DATA folder not OBB data... so when i pasted it in DATA FOLDER ,game working perfectly..
I have googled it for many ways.. like making new folder OBB in android... or using winrar but dont know exactly...
IF you guys playing games using obb file please paste here and let me know fast...
I dont want my phone to be rooted... so no ROOTED way plz.
Did u find solution for it? Evn i want to know how to do it..
If what you mean is install a game without paying for it then this is not allowed in xda. You risk being banned here just by asking. Go ask you question elsewhere.
Read , think than reply!!!!!....

IF u cant read or unable to read question dont reply here... go play somewhere else....
m asking where to paste the cache files of samurai vs zombie.. having obb file... because in samsung galaxy grand duos with android 4.2.1 ther is no obb folder.. and if u make one and paste those file there still nothing works... @@@ ....
so should i extract files from obb in pc and paste that com.samurai ffolder in ANDROID folder in sd card/
If anyone able to understand than only reply... dont waste my [email protected]@@
No need to be angry. You only have 1 post so I have to ask.
So explain further. You want to "install" a game "with obb folder from pc". So the game was previously installed somewhere but you want to install it on the grand with obb folder from somewhere?
I have games with obb on 4..2.2 also. Did you try installing the game from play store then copy and paste the obb folder before starting the game?

I know I checked. I thought the game was just example. Sorry I misquote "game like samurai vs zombie" same as "games for example samurai vs zombie".
Anyway 4.2.2 supports obb folder. So I cannot understand why OP has that problem.

Root Directory Folder Just Appeared

Just had a message from Google Photos to Backup 0123-4567 Folder
After a search i find that this is in Root/Storage and seems to be either a clone of my SD Card or Shortcut to it.
Either way something obviously written it to the Root and isn't removable.
Could this be a virus or malware?
Forgot to attach Screenshot
Root in this sense is just the base directory ... Not sure the file explorer your using but it's how it should appear .. see my attached screenshot from MiXplorer on my un-rooted device .
Root can mean either root user (i.e. you 'rooted' your device to gain Su rights, root rights) or it can mean the root directory, i.e. the base directory (on windows the root directory would be your c drive, or your root user directory your home drive)
Maybe an application update on your file explorer of choice?

Im unrooted and using file manager which ive had since day 1, but this morning I get a notification that i can backup the new folder 0123-4567 which resides in the storage folder of the root directory, if i open this folder it contains exactly what is in my SD Card. Which is strange for it to just appear out of the blue.

as stated root in your case is /... referring to root directory.. the screenshot u posted is normal.. basically its /storage... this is all normal.. the 0123-4567 is typically your external sdcard... /storage/emulated/0 is the main storage directory for internal memory i.e. where Download folder is for example.. another way u can get there is /sdcard which is a shortcut to /storage/emulated/0
you probably had an app or something u installed that can read sdcard but its definitely nothing to worry about amd is definitely not a virus since thats how pretty much every android device is for years n years now

Yes im an advanced Android user, i know all about Root...but its always been emulated/0/ and nothing was installed or uninstalled. I have never seen 0123-4567 as an SD card directory on the last dozen Android phones ive owned previously. Just seemed a little suspicious it would ask me to backup a NEW Folder for no reason.

not sure what you are talking about honestly.. / has always been known as root directory or rootfs etc...
there is no /emulated.. it is /storage/emulated which translates to root(dir) > storage > emulated...
under /storage you will see your different storage locations which will be your extsd (XXXX-XXXX), internal storage (/storage/emulated/0)...
I honestly dont know what android devices youve owned or if you are confused but it is what it is.. it is not unusual for your device to ask if you want to back stuff up on your storage directories.
Case in point my extsd is shown below, in a XXXX-XXXX character map to storage .from what I gather there isn't a naming convention at all on how these are mapped, vendorID maybe of the sdcard ? I dunno ... Tis what it is and I just ignore

What im talking about is pretty obvious in my root/storage directory a brand new directory appeared called 0123-4567 which has never been there before.
And i have owned Nexus 2 3, 5, 6P, Huawei mate 9, mate 20 pro, samsung s9+ s10+ S20Ultra
All of the nexus i rooted with custom firmware.
None of these phones had ever had 0123-4567 as a folder anywhere in the any root directory on the phones until this occurred yesterday.
And im well aware its usual that the phone asks for backups.
Your missing the entire point. Which is
A New directory appears
The phone notification also stated if i wanted to backup the photos in this.... NEW FOLDER.
upon examination of this folder it was just a clone of the sd card.
emulated and internal folders still appear as always did in the storage directory... but now theres a new resident.... 0123-4567 whom moved in yesterday.
What's difficult to understand???
Screenshots... notice SD card appears in the Root directory which is how its been since phone was launched and purchased 6 months or so ago. 0123-4567 Never appeared in storage until Sep 11 2020.
Notice that theres nothing in the other folders, however yesterday emulated had /0 which contained my sd card contents..... now its not accessible.
Google found my hidden root folder. I got 100gbs of porn store there
Just for comparison screenshot from my S5e tablet using the same Solid File Explorer Version. The only difference on my tablet is no synergy theming. Same apps installed on both devices.

ur phone must have been glitched before then and all ur other phones..
u have to look at ur permissions as well.. ur clearly not root and to view storage storage/emulated you need root permissions..
Xxxx-xxxx IS YOUR EXTERNAL SDCARD
it could have been google photos wasnt saving to extsd or settings changed or app was updated or u created a new folder or saved something to ur extsd that prompted it to ask if u wanted to back it up..
also if u look in ur own screenshot sdcard is just a symlink to /storage/emulated/0 which is your internal storage.
theres not really any other way to explain it. it is normal behavior, not a virus or anything, xxxx-xxxx is ur extsd, its no virus, its not root (u dont have any special root permissions or anything) so im still not sure what else u need answered. If you still disagree with something then that wont change any of the facts
ive had every samsung since original smartphone, multiole goigke phones, some lg phines, some zte, asus and even some motos and they were all the same so either unvr paid attention to it before or who knows.
also doesnt matter what apps u have installed or anything.. if u put a extsd into ur tablet ull see the same or similar xxxx-xxxx in same directory

Im not rooted but Solid File Explorer is a hugely popular file browser that any Android enthusiast would know can allow you to browse through the root of the phone.
And there is a 64gb SD Card in my tablet.
None of.my phones were glitchy they all worked flawlessly thank you for your input, but you obviously have no idea what i am saying

Indeed, obb folder isn't in scoped storage, no need of root of whatever, you can normally write in obb folder without doing any manipulation
Try opening it with MiXplorer
3 words... X-plore file manager
