Is there any custom Rom available who have dual sim functionality for Samsung Galaxy Grand duos?
I was tried with custom rom Cm11 android 4.4 but they don't have dual sim functionality.
Please help me.....

No dual sim functionality in cm or any other aosp based ROM.
If you want dual sim, then install any 4.2.2 TW ROM like gennxt or PyramidK3.
Can we expect that in future we will get the dual sim functionality in Cm11 or any custom rom android 4.4 ?

Devs are trying hard to fix it.
But for now, no dual-sim in any aosp based ROM

Yes, there are Cryogate rom (4.1, flash on 4.1), GENNXT, and Pyramid. for further information, visit raghavsharmaxda's thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2616816, its contain lot of information. Also don't ever force developer to port dual sim on AOSP.

I dont know, but its hard to do that. raghavsharmaxda said boardcom didn't release source. so its hard for developer to write their own code. And dont ask ETA on developer, they will work if they have time.

It is possible to reverse engineer the codes, but it will violate the law cause the Broadcomm drivers are closed source and proprietary... The other possible way is to rewrite the codes from scratch a.k.a circumventing it, but it takes so much time and skill. So please understand the situation and don't make such demands to the developers...
The only device with working dual SIM build of CM right now is Sony Xperia E Dual. But it's CM10 not CM11.

Thanks alot for deciding to make roms!! As of now we have alot of AOSP based roms. It would be good if you could make a sense rom or a modified stock rom with complete note 3 look looking forward of ur development:good:
My suggestion
I personally would like a base Samsung 4.2.2 (Touchwiz, Native Trebuchet (by modded framework), or Google Launcher) ROM. No bloatware, just the basics: My FIles, and even get the Apolo Music app there.
- Why? AOSP and AOKP ROM don't have the DUOS system availability, which kinda defeats why we bought the DUOS models. Personally I delete all the Samsung and Carrier bloatware, there is just too much junk in there, and if someone wants something, they can re-install them later. Touchwiz, I dont particularly like too much, but after testing the Note 3 ported and modded Touchwiz by @android.zealot.fervor, i'm a go again.
This is all beneficial if we want a fast phone, which also, doesnt have the biggest internal system and storage memory as well.

Well a lot of users give up thr other slim slot just too use the awesome roms build by dedicated developers like xenon92 and k2wl,,im one among them recently @tamasek a very recognized developer developed cyanogenmod 11 for s3 pure KITKAT experience for them,,we already have 10.2(not completely stable),,according to me you should either help k2wl and xenon92,kingbabasula to make it stable and also if possible dual sim support then i would also lve to request you to develop cyanogenmod 11 as tamasek did for s3,,,omni is also a good choice:thumbup:

Actually making it official will be pain in the butt mahn! ...pawitp will be bound to release updates and all as soon as cm releases, that will contradict with his private life too!!!!!...
it takes alot to make a rom official,
we all can see it with @xenon92 ...he gives so much time for developing roms just for us, i highly doubt he enjoying the side life,...

1: You should be running 4.2.2+
2: If you're on KitKat Rom then S-Health going to work too, If any app doesn't work so tell me I'll try to fix.
Good news! These apps are working and tested on:
Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos (Of course)
High Devices:
Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung Galaxy S3 (Must be running latest firmware)
Low Devices:
Samsung Galaxy Core
Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2
Samsung Galaxy Ace (Must be running Cyanogenmod 11 Rom)
Samsung Galaxy Y (Must be running Cyanogenmod 11 Rom)
I can't tell more, but you can try it on every Samsung device but must not be running Ice Cream Sandwich or Gingerbread.

You can find official up to 4.4.2, about android L well I think it's too soon to tell, there are no sources available possible cyanogen will bring it but we're not sure if will be compatible with the multi sim framework
i really suggest you but the i9190/i9195 because the dual sim variant will have some dual sim issues with custom roms .. etc .. for now its okay but who knows when android L arrives :angel:
I'll certainly buy a non-duos phone if I find one because every body wants dual phones in my country. I've got 3 other questions:which is better s3 4g or s4 mini(in terms of performance and development) and will rooting , installing custom roms or even factory reset relock an unlocked phone(I'm talking about sim lock) ??? And if I buy a locked (like orange locked phone) will i still be able to install ROMs and root the same way i do for an originally unlocked phone??

Hey there,
I can confirm that the ROMs for model GT-I9060I (and M) are not working on GT-I9060 (and DS)... what the hell is it with those models anyway? I can't seem to find any reference to them other than live.samsung-updates.com.
The "I" model (GT-I9060I) is also called Galaxy Grand Neo Plus (WTF?!)
...don't know about the "M" model... but they all seem the same.
Anyway, I think we will have a KitKat ROM for our standard GT-I9060 (standard Galaxy Grand Neo/Lite) soon, as well.
Probably in the next days-weeks.
Hopes are high.

Odin 3.10 does not install it on the device (Device is in download mode [Vol_Down + Home + Power];
Fail, probably due to incorrect handshake with the device during initial recognition phase (ID not matching to that of a GT-I9060I ??) .
Don't know, really, but, by watching live.samsung-updates.com, I can see that Samsung is updating everything (even S3 LTE) to at least KitKat these days.
Fingers crossed waiting for KitKat officially for GT-I9060 (Galaxy Grand Lite -- not NEO [as it seems, but they are 100% identical])

Well, i'll try making a custom rom for grand neo with system.img and boot.img from Grand Neo Plus, maybe it will work.
Also, 99% sure that Samsung will never update Grand Neo to 4.4.4
Please Give it a try and let us know the outcomes. Don't know why this device has got a very little support from Samsung?????

An experienced developer can surely port kitkat to Grand Neo/Lite. Also Samsung is not going to offer kitkat update to Grand Neo/Lite probably due to launch of Grand Neo Plus.
