THANK GOD
ON MY LT18i gb 2.3.4 every time i install viber and even after confirmation it gives me this msg service it temporarily unavailable and never sync my contacts or connect ???

Hi,
It could be that the network you are connected to is blocking Viber's traffic. Are you getting this error message on 3G or WiFi? or both?
1. First, please try uninstalling and reinstalling Viber when connected to different a few WiFi networks. Does it work now?
2. Also, please make sure the following ports are enabled on your routers or firewalls:
TCP: 5242 + 4244
UDP: 5243 + 9785
(if you are not sure how to enable ports, contact your router manufacturer)

just found out that my isp is blocking it i used vpn everything working now

An Egyptian ISP is blocking Viber? really?
May we ask what ISP that is, and whether or not they officially declare that?

Perfectly working for me..only 3g should be available.

[Q] Google Video Chat on Data?

Has anyone gotten this to work? I tried the enable video chat over 3G/4G app and it didn't work. I read about possibly editing an entry with SQLite but haven't tried that yet. Is there anyone who already did this and can confirm success?

Is that the same as Google+ Hangout video chat? I just verified that G+ Hangout video works great on the Note 2 (as does Skype video).

If you're rooted the sqlite edit is super easy and works like a charm. I've done it on my Note 1,note 10.1,atrix,xoom,gs3,one X - it's worked every time.

For anyone wondering, the place to edit: /data/data/com.google.android.gsf/databases/gservices.db under "main"
Find the entry labeled gtalk_vc_wifi that is true by default and edit the value to be false. Save and restart phone and it should work great

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I'm having a problem with this.
I've edited the DB and I "able" make and receive video calls without getting an error about not being on wifi, however whenever someone calls me (or I call out on my note 2) when not on wifi, the call will immediately end and this error message shows up on the computer:
Sorry! The video chat with Kevin failed because of a problem with our servers at 6:27 PM. Please wait a bit and try again.

Whenever I connect to wifi, the call goes through fine. Anyone else having this issue?
I used to be able to video chat no problem on my old atrix with this fix, but for some reason it doesn't work on my note 2. I'm running this ROM on my phone at the moment.

I installed the following rom on my glide (cm-10.1-20130217-UNOFFICIAL-i927) and everything is working fine but i have one issue; when I make a call through voice over IP softwares such as (Viber, Skype, Tango... etc) the voice is very strange, thick and slow... please help if anyone have a solution for this
btw thought its from the internet connection but I tried many internet sources from many ISPs... same issue, so the problem is not from the internet quality...its from the rom

read a little bit more. it's a known issue, but it will be fixed soon I guess. there is already some kind of fix for this, but it doesnt work for me

Unable to login to whatsapp, wechat and line but still can use facebook search engine

I am using Note 2 N7105 and was previously using the clean rom and had no problems earlier.
I flashed **[4.3][CM10.2][06.10]Team Asylum CM10.2 - Slim, Fast and Black Roma™** and soon start to have below mentioned problems.. I was advised by the developer that it is not a rom specific problem..
I realise I couldnt send or receive msg from whatsapp, wechat, LINE and other social messaging apps using 3g/4g connection but I could still use google search engine, facebook, google map etc. Wechat shows "Server access failure (1,237)".
I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the social messaging apps using 3g/4g connection, Play store shows an error of 413. however I could reinstall using wifi.
There is no problem with the social messaging apps when I use wifi.
I have tried a full wipe, restoring back to my Clean rom, change to other roms, reinstalling them. but I couldnt resolve the problem.
I am now currently using [ROM][10/05/13][4.3]BeanStalk 4.3.1001..
Can someone help?

Yes.. it does show 4g. I can make calls as well. I tried using 3g as well but it still has the same problem

am stumped mate, thought it might be something else.

I am having a big headache now, having 4g network yet not able to receive messages.. googling but there is no information online..

have you tried switching off 4g and just trying 3g?

ok, sorry i couldn't help, but it's definitely a software issue, so try a stock ROM and check if issue persists, I have nothing else

But it shouldn't be a ROM problem.. I tried many ROMs but it remains the same

am out of ideas

For me I can't upload greetings to facebook by splanner, for friends birthdays. Sad and annoying situation and this is happend after I rooted my galaxy and installed custom rom. So I think it's related with rom and rooting, how and why have no idea.

Sounds like it's your APN settings. Had something similar with 4.3.
Most network providers have a webpage that will automatically send the correct APN settings by text. Try that. If not, call them and ask them to send them out. Think it's a proxy problem caused by incorrect settings.

wow miraculously after ten minutes changing of my APN setting, my note 2 sprang to life again!! Thanks a lot!!!!

call waiting

Hi everybody, i am wondering if there is other people who has the same issue like me. When somebody call me during when i already have a call, the person who tries to call me gets the message as the phone is closed or not in area. I tried with the same phone on bluetooth headphones and call waiting works very well, only when i am conected to the bt of this chinese player it does not. So, my question is if is there others who solved this problem or not. Thank you

I'll test it out tomorrow and see what happens. I believe there is an option in factory settings called 3 way calling. I think this option could enable that feature.

The three-way calling option does not exist in older version MCUs. You need to update.
