Just got the ATT gpro e980, and installed freegee CWM, downloaded a stock rom with extras, made a backup of current stock rom then wiped everything, flashed the zip and then it said error loki-fying. Tried restoring backup, had no errors, tried rebooting but always ends up back at CWM. Tried booting to bootloader, goes to CWM. Only way to fix this is using LGFlashtool? Any advice appreciated.

I rooted my wifes Kindle Fire and verified I had root on original ROM. Installed FireFireFire and CWM.
Made a backup of ROM in CWM, did factory reset, formatted cache/dalvik cache and flashed "Jandycane" ROM with GApps. When KF got to boot animation; device would freeze and reboot. So I redownloaded ROM and GApps and tried once more; again stuck with bootloop.
Restoring backup of original ROM and all is good.
I've tried several other JB ROMS and same problem with all of them so I know I'm missing something....just cant figure it out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
which clockwork mod upgrade with this to the newest or change to twrp http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1500935
Loading TWRP 2.2.0 seems to have resolved the problem.
So I have a rooted N7105 (ALIJ) running the latest Perseus Kernel, and I decided to flash Android Revolution HD 6.0 to see if it would work (using CWM Recovery). I took a NANDROID beforehand and then used the Super Wipe as directed, but then when I tried to flash the ROM it got stuck on the menu, I couldn't do anything, so I decided to try and restore my NANDROID and give up on the ROM, but when I do, I get stuck on the bootup logo...
When I restore the NANDROID, it checks the MD5 sum, erases the boot before restoring, and then says 'restoring boot image', then goes back to the menu with no indication of whether it's done or not. I literally left it overnight to make sure that it wasn't still restoring when I rebooted, and tried a factory wipe before I restored it, but no dice... any ideas? Thanks in advance...
May be bad nandroid?...or corrupted sd card. ...... try mskip tool to flash it or try stock firmware using pc odin
scribbled from my note 2 (N7100)
hello, ive ben flashing for a while now, i dont know what i did wrong this time but all my rom files are gone, and the latest rom i flashed got stuck at the bootlogo and wouldnt move from there, so i tried to reflash again, but now that rom file is gone somehow.....so i tried to restore, but it says error when it comes to /data, and quits. im still in CWM, thinking if i reboot itll brick, someone please help...
btw, i think it restore boot and system, it stopped after it said "restoring data...error while restoring /data!"
will boot and system be enough to atleast boot into the rom?
Get rid of cwm and use twrp. Problem solved
Sent from the scary door....
im stuck in cwm tho, i dont know what happened to all the rom zips, and my restores wont work...
so i did advanced restore, did restore boot image, and restore system...will that be enough to boot the phone? or will it brick?...
I have the Sprint S3 with 4.1.2. Last night I rooted it and it worked fine. I then flashed CWM Recovery and rebooted, all was fine. Tried to put on Liquid Smooth rom and didn't have gapps, attempted to flash gapps but came up with error. Got fed up with it and tried to flash the Synergy Rom. I cleared dalvik and cache, made a backup and flashed. Went through the whole process and auto rebooted afterwards. Went to SAMSUNG on boot and screen went black before finishing and will not go further. I can get into stock recovery but not CWM Recovery. I'd like to have the liquidsmooth rom on there but i also downloaded the stock 4.1.2 rom just in case. How can I get past this to get into either CWM recovery or somehow flash a rom from Odin? I'm stuck.

So you were able to get into the custom recovery (CWM) a couple of times before flashing Synergy Rom, but now it's reverted to stock recovery? When you turn your phone off and hold Volume up, menu, and power it boots into the stock recovery? I've never heard of that happening before.
The best way is to re-do your root process through Odin a-la qbking77's tutorial. This will install CWM again and then you can flash away. Make sure you check your md5sums on the Rom files you downloaded before flashing them. That's the most common cause of bad flashes around these parts.

I've ended up fixing it but had to flash stock 4.1.1 on it from Odin and then it automatically went to 4.1.2 after reboot. Thanks
But yes, it was going to CWM just fine before I flashed Synergy after Liquidsmooth. Thats how I put on Synergy. But at least it was just a soft-brick.
Did you wipe (everything) between flashes? Even roms of the same version can have issues if you flash one over the other
By everything I mean /system, /data (factory reset), dalvik cache, and cache
I'll post my issue in hopes that it helps anyone who has the same problem:
I was going for a clean install of radeonmaya's kitkat since i dirty flashed from JB 4.1.2. and am getting massive drain from wifi. I had CWM from shabbypenguin which i used to flash everything and was working really well. Anyway, i did my backup and was rebooting to backup my stuff from the internal storage when suddenly i got a message in CWM to fix SU. I said yes and the phone rebooted to CWM. Tried not fixing and same result, booted back to cwm. Tried formatting system, cache, data and reflashing everything(including SU update) and still rebooted to cwm. I was pretty frustrated by now so i decided to reflash my backup, rebooted and...still on CWM. Lucky for me i had the hacked TWRP so i flashed that, rebooted and was prompted to fix root, which i did. my phone rebooted and i'm back on the rom(charging my battery since it dropped from 79 to 61% in all that flashing).
