Since i bought my nexus 5 I already equipped my phone with momax pro glass screen protector (0.3mm thickness) but I am worried if it will prevent me from buying fitted cases like spigen slim armor. any advice?

The slim armor works fine but my ultra hybrid is what gave me problems lifting the glass, these 2 are the only ones I have tried it with

i installed today the MIME screen glass protector.... the .15m one... and i got also the spigen slim armor...no issues with fitment. it cleared the case just fine
Sorry I wasn't clear. Slim armor fits fine doesn't mess with it at all and the ultra hybrid would push it up causing bubbles to form around the edges and the thickness of the screen protector was .27mm

Currently using cheap ebay protector 0.3mm(?) with diztronic tpu case no problems.
My N5 has a Spigen GLAStR Slim on it and the official Nexus Bumper Case fits fine. The Diztronic TPU case interfered with the screen protector, making the edges lift up at the corners.

So is it hard to fit the phone inside the slim armor?

I'm looking for one too. Seems too few cases can fit tempered glass
and what about the Original google nexus 5 case...
is here anyone who has a tempered glas with the Original google nexus 5 case?

my tempered glass protector sits perfectly fitted in my Ultra Hybrid case. Check the alignment of your glass protector, is it perfectly centered?
Just bought the slim armor too, will try it over the next few days.

What the thickness of you glass protector?

I have the poetic palette case and the spigen glas.tr
Working fine - the glas is a smidge smaller than the screen, the case doesn't contact it.

I use the Ringbo Ultimate Clear Plus. It's a PET film which is like thick plastic. I love it because it doesn't feel sticky to the touch like other screen protectors. Check it out on Amazon. Comes with 2 per pack.

Which one do you use ?
The dry protector that came with my Diztronic case was decent. However, after experiencing the XO Skins wet apply screen protector on my Galaxy Nexus I decided to get it for the Galaxy SIII as well. Defintely the best quality screen protectors I've used in terms of clarity, feel, fit, and ease of install.
http://xoskins.com/cell-phone-skin-.../samsung-galaxy-s-3-screen-protector-case-fit
I highly recommend it.
However, the one downside is that both times I have ordered these protectors in the "case fit" version, they have sent me the full screen version instead. This isn't a huge deal for me since I have a case that works with the full screen protector. But if you need a case fit one which works with many TPU cases, make sure you check that it is the case fit when you receive it.
But even with that hick-up I am still extremely pleased with the protector.

Question is: for those of you who have this case, what screen protector do you use with it? And have you had any problems with the combination?
Thanks!

ZAGG HD works perfect for me. If you put the screen protector on after the case you can center it so it won't bubble up.
I was lucky with mine that I centered it fairly well before I got case and it doesn't bubble up.
The Zagg HD is the first screen protector I've bought that is noticeably smaller than the screen to accommodate cases.

I am having good luck with the Spigen screen protector. The ultra clear one is a bit thicker I think. The first few days it would bubble a bit in the corners. But now it doesn't bubble at all.

my UQ definitely bubbles up with the diztronic, both black and pink glitter.

Since the ASUS ones seem out of stock in most places, this one seems like a great deal. 3 for about $8. I used this for the 1st gen Nexus 7 and for my Nexus 4 and they work well.
thanks bought one 10.9x$ shipped to canada I hope quality is good
Even thought it says it's arriving in stock on 8/9, they appear to be shipping now. I just got a shipping notice from them.
Does anyone know if the previous rearth so had the cutouts? I just ordered the spigen so but I see that those had the cutouts.

I don't have my old Nexus 7 anymore but I think the only cutout on the screen protector was for the front camera.
Tried it for my note 2.it's really nice and well fitted, but it definitely got scratched easily.it would get scratched by things that would not scratch your device it been naked.
If your the ocd type, you'll be replacing it about every month

Most screen protectors have a hardness of 3H. I think Gorilla Glass is about 7H.
I have been researching on here and have read that some of the tempered glass screen protector don't place nice with the official bumper case.
For those who use the official bumper case with tempered glass screen protector. Which are you using and why?

Before my official bumper started to look like crap and me throwing it away I used Spigen's glass with no issues with the official bumper.

I am also in the same boat as the OP. I have the nexus bumper case and have concerns about the lip of the bumper lifting up the screen protecter. After spending £25 i am hesitant in investing more money on a second case
As in topic. Say which case are you using ( if you are using one ) and what do you think about it.

I was rocking the black slim armor from spigen I got when the phone first came out. Great protection, not too bulky, protects the camera, and has a small lip on the screen so you can lay it down on its front with no worries.
I like it so much that when I heard that the bright red was more orange than red. I bought it in a heartbeat.
Only other case I got was the Ringke Fusion, works just as great and has a clear back. but dust kept getting in the back in between the case and the phone for me at least. Didn't like that...

I have a tech 21, a ballistic sg, and a spigen slim armor. They are all great. I tend to use the slim armor more being that it's smaller than the ballistic and looks better than the tech 21. The ballistic is definitely the most protective case made for the n5. But it's quite large. The spigen slim armor is still very protective and looks absolutely beautiful. The build quality is top notch.
for me, no doubt: Spigen Neo Hybrid
I am thinking abou slim armor. Its pretty expensive over here but it looks really great and people say that it is safe for our device
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I have both the Ringke Slim and the Neo Hybrid. The Slim is my choice even though it doesn't cover all of the phone. Its slim and almost makes you forget that you even have a case on the phone.
The Neo Hybrid is a good case and just adds more bulk than I personally wanted. Its not to the level of an Otterbox but still some bulk.

ZeroLemon Rugged Battery Case
I purchased a ZeroLemon 3500MaH Rugged Case. It is by all means not a slim case. it's essentially a big ole brick of bada$$ery.
C shaped connector plugs into your Nexus 5 and into the battery, Hard plastic shell with a built in screen protector snaps around that, then rubberized fits around that, then of course a belt clip lol. I'd say i'm a centimeter off from a full inch thick lol.
I currently don't have a case, but I'm looking for recommendations. Can anyone recommend a case?

If you like slim cases, I really like the Ringke Fusion Crystal View case. http://www.amazon.com/PROTECTION-FUSION®-Absorption-Yourself-Technology/dp/B00H3OUGI2
It's completely clear to let the beauty of the N5 shine through. (especially if you have the red or white N5) It's a little bit softer than the Spigen version, has good grippiness, and probably more "bounce" if you dropped it.
