I must of yanked on the charge cable whilst in bed which in turn has damaged the charge port on my HOX.
The warrant is out on this phone and I'm out of options.
Help appreciated.

And what kind of help do you search? You have to solder new port or trying to find a repair shop so that they solder a new one...shouldnt be that expensive I think

Turns out that in the morning the usb charger wasn't attached.
I done goofed.
But great advice anyway if the usb plug ever does get damaged.

Yea they have but you need a dock for it it will work for charging also but only if the dock supports it

You need to use a Y cable with external power source.
Hox dosent support USB otg but you can use eternity project kernel with a powered usb hub
