Be aware- Vanir includes a script that enables their own kernel tweaks. This script does not play well with flashing custom kernels. The solution!
Flash ROM
Navigate to- /system/etc/init.d/
Delete the file- 00kernelcompat
Reboot to recovery
Flash kernel
Profit!
You can also open the ROM zip on your PC before flashing and remove the file from the same directory then flash the ROM and you're good to flash the kernel.
**If you dirty flash between nighties, DO NOT wipe system or data before flashing the ROM. It will wipe gapps and the ROM install script won't be able to restore them**
That said, a clean flash is always recommended

Seems pretty good so far. The first boot things were force quitting everywhere, especially System UI. Everything was really laggy, too.
Then I rebooted and now everything seems to be running how it should.

Whoa, well that's strange. Nothing should be force closing. Make sure you flash clean and all that. Also, I suggest everyone updating to philz recovery as it seems to solve a lot of issues when using 4.4.x ROMs. Twrp hasn't been updated all that regularly.

Love this ROM! Runs and looks good, only issue... Status bar mods selection causes a force close (soft, you can still make the selection after it backs you out one step and you re-enter) as does the notification light settings (choosing any custom colors causes the settings app to close, not able to make selection at all). Other than that (all I found) very good work! THANKS

For latest AOSP builds to flash you need to be on latest bootloader of d2tmo: T999UVDLJA, T999UVDLJC, T999UVDMD5 & T999VVLDLL1 for it to boot. In order to have the latest boot loader you need to update via ODIN or Over The Air. There is also the MD5 quick cheat way. I don't reccomend it has I see bad battery life with it, and many others report it on AOSP roms across the D2TMO boards. Here is CyanogenMOD stating so
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT I CAN UPDATE TO HELP, I'M OFF ALL DAY TODAY AND TOMORROW AND MONDAY LET ME KNOW WHILE I HAVE TIME TO UPDATE THIS POST
The Emulated /0 folder is always going to be there, save all sdcard stuff on a PC or some where else before flashing.
If things are acting weird, or you have things going on and don't see too many people reporting it.
Redownload rom and gapps
Wipe via factory reset
Wipe dalvik and cache
Format System (upon flashing rom it will do this automatically)
Then flash rom and gapps, then reboot system. (boot the rom and avoid any 3rd party kernelsat all costs... if issues arise after installing a custom kernel, do not report them here expecting help, it just clutters and makes the rom look no good.)
KNOWN ISSUES
Having headphones plugged in while ending a call will cause a reboot.
Google Music is causing reboots, I use power amp in the mean time, try other music apps if experiencing the reboots
Instagram has a large bug with all S3 and AOSP for taking video.
Focal is crazy buggy at the moment expect issues on all fronts for now.
Keep em coming if you find em and I can replicate I'll post them here.
Expect BlueTooth issues unfortunately. If fixes are around please post them.
LockScreen options are stored in Security
Also if having issues, boot into safe mode and see if issues still persist. Boot into safe mode by holding power button and long press on reboot. This will boot you into no 3rd party apps mode, basically. To get out of it, just reboot normally
To enable root go into Dev Options, scroll to "root access" select adb and apps.If you are having root issues still after this, flash this and it should be fixed. At least other users are reporting so... I don't have any root issues.
For Titanium backup do this go into Settings | Preferences | Backup | Folder location | Detect whole device | select legacy
To enable Developer Options, go to; settings|about phone|tap build number 7/8 times
to enable reboot options,(recovery, download) enable advanced reboot in Developer options
You must flash Gapps everytime you install the rom as it wipes system every time. Use the gapps in the original post, if you use other Gapps keep those errors to your self and address the person/dev that made those Gapps.

Facebook/Instagram acts up and is weird?? Stop using the app.
Update system apps before saying things are broken. (Google Now)
If you decide to run a 3rd party kernel, take your issues about; speed, battery, and reboots to that thread, we cant change their kernel to make it better for you, they can. Thanks.
For cell data when idle it is a 3g icon, then switches don't cry it's normal.

I noticed that the original post said SOD is still WIP? Does this mean it'll still happen? While Xone was definitely amazing, SOD every few hours was what made me switch back to liquidsmooth.

It doesn't happen often at all bro.... For some it may not even happen, BUT it still can happen for some people which to me.... is still an issue... I haven't experienced any, BUT my testers have reported maybe one, or two. Switching kernels can help as well...

This is an unofficial build of Omni Rom based on KitKit 4.4.3. There is no official support for the d2 variants. Props to androidsftw for picking apart what was needed for our d2s.

HOW TO INSTALL
Installing for the first time?
Grab the newest full zip from the D2LTE directory.
For future updates, just go to Settings -> System Updates and let the magic happen.
1. Factory Data reset
2. Wipe System/Data/Dalvik/Cache
3. Install ROM zip from Sdcard
4. Install GAPPS zip from Sdcard
5. Install SuperSU from Sdcard
6. Reboot to home screen to confirm good flash
7. (Optional) Reboot to recovery and flash kernel
TO USE DELTAS, YOU HAVE TO USE TWRP OR PHILZ RECOVERY. CWM WILL NOT WORK BECAUSE IT DISABLES SCRIPTING CAPABILITIES BY DEFAULT. If there's anything that you want the updater to flash automatically after it flashes your update, put the file(s) in the FlashAfterUpdate directory inside your Opendelta folder in your internal storage.
If you run into issues flashing, make sure you are using Latest TWRP or CWM.
Join the BMS G+ Communitywhich will have quicker release info in the future for all things BMS and roms.

No bugs that I have found. If anyone reports any I will put then in the op. I haven't tested it long. I also don't use Netflix and stuff like that. So far it's smooth and stable.

New update is available. Sorry there won't be any changelogs unless GideonX gives me one or see's something to note. Like I said we are just syncing and uploading. I know this update has some manifest adjustments. While GideonX was building the rom he had to add in some stuff to make it run and the actual manifests that were needed are now from Omni. Enjoy.

I love this ROM on my N7 thanks for bringing it to the s3 if it gets battery life comparable to Pwn's I'm in....

These davlik optimizations... its in the Nexus 4 thread. They do work on other qualcomm devices correct ?
So with the ROM all is working well save for a few mods. It seems if I try to make status bars mods settings closes. All the other ones seemed to be fine. I'll try to get a log cat

Yes indeed. The qualcomm optimized davlik should work on any S4 variant. I generally run it on my vzw S4 but right now im using ART as Vanirs been making some optimizations in the last build that make the phone a badass.

This rom is awesome, I just had something I noticed yesterday though.
While I had active notifications on playing youtube through chromecast, the screen kept flickering on and off taking me to the lockscreen. Other than that, I have no complaints.

At the moment, Navigation bar hasn't been worked in for s4 variants since there are hardware keys.

Very nice ROM guys... 2 bugs to report. 1. Haptic feedback is inconsistent. 2. When customizing the notification tiles, the changes don't stick. Just letting you know if you didn't already. If ya did, i apologize. Keep up the great work though!

I noticed you are using KT kernel but no Ktweaker. I tried flashing the AOSP KT kernel but would not boot. After dirty flashing to get the stock kernel back I looked again and noticed the build is KOT49H. Is this based off of a Google Edition base. If so then I know why the phone would not boot. Other than not being able to tweak and play it looks like a solid ROM.
Never mind. I noticed there is an occasional boot hang issue with this ROM. I had to force close and reboot to get it to boot on the stock kernel. So I tried the AOSP KT kernel again and it booted ok.
Never mind. Definatly a modified KT kernel. Way to many issues using the standard KT kernel. Will there be a version of you kernel that will come with the Ktweaker App.

+1 No issues here either, everything works great, has mad customization, and with the tweaks I'm getting close to 5 hours of "screen on" time out of my stock battery, which is pretty amazing! Not sure why this ROM isn't more popular? Peeps need to check it out!!

No issues with my 64GB card on this ROM running on an AT&T S3.

Can't seem to find the info I wanted on the Web. I just want to know if there's a Crowdin project opened to add translation? Dirty Unicorn look promising but, I will stick to CM11 until I can get it with everything translated in french. That's why I'm asking...

Whenever I try to install it, it says failed. I am running android 4.3. Deadly Venom to be precise. I am also using TWRP. Any help? Do I just need to update TWRP? I'm using the Bell mobility S3.

Didn't work. Any ideas? I remember deleting some lines for when 4.3 didn't work. it was cause I was on a Canadian phone and not AT&T. Any other ideas?

try switching recoveries. if not maybe a bad download? make sure your using a usa or canadian s3.

Well I used to use CWM before, but that didn't work as well and a lot of people recommended TWRP. I am use a i747, it's from Bell. I'm seeming to have a problem with other roms. It's only allowing me to put on 4.3's and not 4.4's :/

Superuser won't work
Although it starts out working fine, before long I become unable to click "allow" or "deny" when superuser prompts occur. This happens whether I am using the built in Superuser, or SuperSU.

My GPS isn't working on this. I was on v 1.1 and did a clean flash to this. Everything works great except GPS. No GPS fix or status app can detect GPS signal google navigation and Waze can't detect GPS signal. Any ideas? I tried DKP kernel also still nothing.

I got a GPS lock in 1 second using high accuracy on Google maps. Running QuantumKernel 10/11

Any Mirrors?
I can only download a little over half of v1.4 or v1.5 and then the dl stops.
I have tried all the androidfilehost.com mirrors... QC, FL, TX, CA
Are there any other mirrors available?

MMS/data issue......solved....... BOOTLOADER update
I didn't see this mentioned in any of the background info about the ROM.
At risk of not saying all the "right things" the "right way", I am apparently one of the few SGS3 early owners left in the custom-ROM-sphere that knew nothing of this bootloader updating stuff.
I went thru flashing a few of the ROMs listed in the forum ending with this one because each time, I lost the use of MMS and also my data connection.
Once I learned (thru research) that this is an APN issue. After finding the where the APN exists in Settings, I had none listed, and was not able to manually enter/save one.
I could find no specific information about this problem, but happened upon a thread somewhere mentioning this problem in connection with CM11... and I recalled that after flashing this ROM, I was invited to register with something CM.... which I did. In the article, the OP discussed upgrading the bootloader/modem.:fingers-crossed:
I didn't know what my bootloader version was. HINT: I'll save you the trouble....... If you don't know, then it's a 99.9999% chance you need to upgrade.

Yes. Just remember you can't go back to older boot loader. Up should be OK.

I tried running with Quantum kernel and the phone would get extremely hot. I switched over to BMS and everything seems to be okay.
