Since we're updating frequently, making manual changelogs ain't possible anymore...
And also take note that although I am involved in the development of this ROM, but I do not own the device, so I might not be able to answer your device specific questions...
Any idea what is up with camera (when you take a picture the app dies) ? I tried the release version (01-24-2014) and got the error noted here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49742925&postcount=4
"ION allocation failed" really puzzlling as to were this is coming from I have tried a number of things to track this down, even substituting a bunch of CM11 repositories into the mokee source tree, and this still does not fix this error..
Nz
Its an cm 11 issue. For example every cm11 ROM camera and video works until version 1/13/14 every later version won't work anymore.

Actually the camera works fine provided you do the following for BOTH the camera app and the gallery:
SETTINGS - APPS - FORCE STOP - CLEAR DATA.
Once this is done, again for BOTH apps, select the camera app and let it sit for about 30 sec. Then take a picture, from now on it will work fine.

It works for a few pictures, but after a dozen or so it fails with the same error. Switching to the front camera you can take a picture but the rear camera continues to fail. CM doesn't exhibit this behavior.

No complaints so far. I wasn't crazy about the Mokee launcher so I am running Epic premium. I found a couple games were a bit laggy, but I have found this to be the case with every non stock ROM. Also as a side note I am running with ART. IMHO the best next to stock for stability and battery life.

Good to hear about stability and battery life. I haven't switched ROMs in months, but its time and this may be the best option.

I have been using Avatar's version and, so far, that's the only major issue.

yes, i will try to build it.
Great job on this one. Very smooth, no bugs as far as I know. ListView Animation is impressive.
I have been running the 4.3 for 24 hours now. By far the best ROM I have ever had on my ns4g. ListView is amazing. Smooth and responsive. I haven't found any bugs besides not being able to change voicemail number. Thanks for breathing new life into our phones!

Nice, finally 4.3!! I'm a little sad that CM has neglected this device so badly. It's always nice to see the community can compensate for other' short-comings
Thanks for the build!!
Its been running smoothly and has great battery life compared to any 4.2.2 rom. I think that the only bug I've been able to find so far was that whenever i try to record a video with the camera it fc and when i try to use it ( or any app requiring the camera) it says cannot connect to camera. There's 3 ways to get around this clear the gallery data and reboot, download a whole new camera app from the play store, or flash the the camera42_patched_v2.zip from the cm10.1 thread.

Wow great rom Justin! I've been running the 4.3 test rom for a day and it has been super stable, smooth and so far problem free...you would never think that this is a test rom. Thanks so much for bringing 4.3 to the 4G!

Some hints:
1. Be sure you are on latest CWM or TWRP recovery!!!!!!
2. Not all gapps packages right now are nice working. You can try others but at least I know that the one linked here is working. If you have other gapps which are working you can link it here of course
3. Full wipe when coming from any 4.3 or 4.4 rom (as well format system manually please)
Reporting Bugs
When you submit a bug you want to make sure that nothing from your side is causing it. Otherwise your developer might be hunting a bug which doesn't really exist.
The best way to achieve this is by doing the following.
1. Make a nandroid backup.
2. Perform a full wipe (factory reset + wipe /system)
Now we have two different ways depending on what kind of problem you're having.
3a. When you're having a problem with a ROM function, flash just the ROM without GAPPS etc. and boot back into the system. You will boot directly onto the homescreen.
3b. When you're having a problem with a 3rd party app in combination with our ROM then flash the ROM and GAPPS.
Boot now back into the system. You will boot to the setup wizard.
Log in to your Google account but make sure that you untick "Restore from my Google Account to this phone/tablet".
Finish the setup and open the playstore and download only the app you're having problems with.
4. Start a logcat recording and reproduce the bug (if possible more than once) while taking the logcat. If you don't know how to get a logcat read this tutorial or this.
5. Post the logcat in a txt file (this is important because you otherwise clog up the threads with your log) in the correct thread.
Please also write detailed description how we can reproduce the bug.
6. Restore your backup from point 1 and wait for a fix (don't ask for ETAs).
First. Also, Thanks!
Can this be home brewed?
EDIT: NVM
Damn right. I'm on slimbean weekly now, gonna nandroid this ***** right now and shoot over to slimkat. THANKS!

GPS is spotty for me so far, sometimes it works other times it just sits there. Only tested in my house so far, will see how it works tomorrow out in other areas. Other than that, only the noted issues so far.
Nice work, glad to see yet another 4.4 ROM for the VZW Galaxy Nexus! I think we're even beating the GSM Galaxy Nexus now!! Haha.
and just when I decide to capture a logcat while trying gps, it worked first time. Of course

I haven't actually flashed any of the 4.4 ROMs yet (just got crdroid 4.3.1 set up with kitkat apps and I like the working data), just thought I'd put my two cents in on the graphical glitches. I've seen several posts for different ROMs talking about glitches in animations, just curious if turning off animations in developer settings would "fix" the problem until it's actually worked out?

Not really this is just a stock mokee rom
So what is the difference between this one and the one in Android Development? And what makes this one eligible for Orig Dev and not the other one?
I like your work one the other one, just wanted to know what the difference is in this one.
OC/UV removed, eh? Eh, it seems to be flying along anyways lol...
But just to know, is there a kernel that works with this Rom?
@mtb3000gt
Will you be releasing your custom kernel separately from this?

Extract the voicemail app from a stock deodexed touchwiz ROM, transfer it to phone, install.
It may or may not work.

@byrdcfmma, @LOWCOUNTRYDAVE, This is recognized as 'unofficial' by MoKee. The one in original development is also unofficial by mtb3000gt, but not recognized by MoKee. Considered this version as 'official unofficial,' and the other as 'unofficial.'. But the main difference is, with this version, you can get OTA updates. Just thank @mtb3000gt for his hard work for getting this officially "unofficial!"

That's what I asked in the first reply of this thread, and mtb3000gt implied that it wasn't just the same ROM with ota updates, so it left me wondering. No big deal, just wondering if it's worth me switching over ATM. The unofficially unofficial one has been the best KitKat ROM I've used on this device by far.

Sweet. Updated thread!
Just wondering if anyone has any MMS issues? I'm on at&t LTE and since stable 5 couldn't send or receive MMS. Checked APN settings and they were all correct. I don't know what else to do. I tried plenty of 3rd party SMS apps too.

Thanks, it appears to be the same as adaway tho. Adblocker plus is really the best I've used as it knocks out 98% of ads in apps and 100% of them in browser. Just wish they'd figure out the mms deal or provide a warning upon installation.
I appreciate the heads up! If you happen to run across another ad blocking app which funnels traffic through is servers vs using host files, please do post about it as I'm sure others are looking for one as well

Running this on my T-mobile T999 unlocked and rooted and your version 5.2 is running perfectly so far. Few items of interest that I need include:
Bluetooth - works perfectly for me and my headsets
Clean Interface
Open Ended Customization
Black (everything)

Nicklovell23,
I know this is not in the right forum, but by chance would this work on Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i8190 Mini (International) and presently running native JB and using ATT/Straight Talk cell service?
My wife and I have been waiting patiently for Kit Kat on our S3, but as you are aware both phones were dropped since they wouldn't support Kit Kat and TouchWiz with only 1gb of RAM. SlimKat is working pretty darn perfect and I'm not having any problems with it and not missing TouchWiz at all besides maybe dedicated VOIP (originally provided by T-mobile and that I'm looking now for other options).
Either way, would this be possible and would like your opinion if this can even be done? on a S3 Mini GT-i8190?
Thanks,
Sorli...
I am getting a no root privileges error. Nevermind it has to be activated in Developer Settings.

Look for the link for "d2lte" - that's the one you want as it's a unified build that supports all US Variants of the Galaxy S3. It's near the bottom of the list in the second column.

Build I'm using is: Slim-d2lte-4.4.2.build.5-OFFICIAL-4053
Only change I've made after restoring my apps what setting the default dpi to 300 that is a little closer to S3s default.
So far working very well even without LTE (not supported by my t999).

Installed the rom seem like everything is working ok. I have been using google launcher theme and like it a lot. Is there a way I could install Google Launcher theme on here. The part that I like about google theme is if you say OK Google the search come up with voice recognition. Thanks
Never mind found it it would included in the rom. Thanks
Does this have the unrestricted tethering mod?
Since it's not a T-Mobile ROM is it even needed?

I love this Rom
This Rom is so clean and so far I haven't had any problems. I just came from liquidsmooth 3.0 beta, and that Rom had a strong UI crash problem. This Rom on the other hand is amazing. Clean, responsive, and customization is noted. Can't wait to see up dates.
Such an amazing ROM.. Everything is running very stable.. Loving the smaller ui as well.. However at low battery percentages(15%) it starts struggling a lot? Is this normal? Maybe the kernel I'm using? I'm on slimkat 5.2 with kt747 kernel

Looks like this is the official build 5.0, not the 5.2 weekly build. Flashed it yesterday - finally got sick of all of the bloatware taking up storage space. Everything I've tried seems to be working as it should. I had run slimrom on a T-959 and really liked it. I'm going to have to change the dpi, though. My eyes are too old to enjoy the default.

Not sure what version I'm using since is reports 5.2, but this ROM is still ROCK Solid. Also bumped my DPI to 300 I think and working much much better for another older guy.
