[Q] WHich ROM CAN I INSTALL ON MY ARC

im from costa rica and my carrier is claro i have locked bootloader
and i check in service info, config and say bootloader unlock allowed and say no
because of this i cannot do the test point, but i install clockwork mod from
SE_Extreme_Tweak_Installer_1.8 my question is which rom can be safely instaled by this method i read roms whith stock kernel please someone give a list of rom can be safely installed whit this CWM THANKS A LOT

You need to unlock your bootloader first before you install some Custom ROM ,only themes and tweeks can install in CWM recovery

And I believe any Arc can be unlocked with test point - my Japanese Arc was an early release one which wouldn't allow me to unlock the official SE way.
But with test point I unlocked with no trouble.

If you guys have the BOOTLOADER UNLOCK NO like I do. You need to get it UNLOCKED via the TEST POINT method.
It requires a bit of time and playing around OR follow the suggestion on contacting Jinx13. He will guide you thought the process and obviously for a small fee.

I know how to do it with Omnius. I paid for a license and it costed me 15.80€, but it doesn't work with my Arc S (only Arc, I have to read before buying xD). If you want I'll tell you how to do it and I'll let you my account.

Hi guys,
I'm like a newbie in Android system so first of all sorry for my stupid post ( i guess )
I would like to install this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2177236 on my phone.
With lots of tries i managed to unlock bootloader in my phone and i don't know what to do next. I have read lots of tutorials but i am a bit coonfused and if someone could help me with step-by-step instruction ( or links to instructions ) i would be very happy.
Now I have stock firmware 4.0.4 ICS and unlocked bootloader , nothing more.

are you sure that custom rom is match for you phone.. if you flashing with not match custom rom you'll have some problem, just backup youre stock rom before try to flashing custom rom..
and what the device in yours.?

No problem, but as immortalneo said, check that ROM thread, read the instructions for proper installation and keep proper back up. Also check the ROM thread in detail for the reviews about that ROM from the users.

Bootloader Problem!

Hello friends,
I bought an HTC 10 two days ago but i don't like the Stock Android Style Specially notification bar ... etc , So I tried many times to Unlock BootLoader to Root and Install twrp recovery to flash a custom Rom Viper10 , But after many times I can't unlock it at the final step i got that error in screenshot I did everything from Official HTCdev website step by step with no error but at the last step i got this please tell me how to fix that problem i tried some Tools but no works! Please HELP..... Thanks

Many people have reported that requesting a new token and sometimes using a different browser has worked for them. There are a few threads about this if you search the Q&A section.

Yes, you can.
It requires unlocking the boot loader and installing a custom recovery. There are a few threads about it which makes it somewhat confusing. What it boils down to is do you want to use LL or MM to unlock it and once that is done do you wish to use the stock TW LL/MM or a custom ROM (TW/AOSP based).
Easiest to follow instructions here, uses LL to root:

The hybrid way (LL/MM software mix, will require working SIM/Data connection to complete rooting), once done will be full MM based:

IF you want to run a custom rom, unlock the bootloader as outlined in the links above, install TWRP and then the ROM of your choice (TW/AOSP).
I just did both ways above not too long ago on a new to me 910v, then I ended up using the files from this post on the modified/hybrid way to root:

Yes, that means I wiped and rooted all 3 ways linked/described (BPA1, CPD1 & CQI2/CQL1) trying out the files/software. All 3 tries worked fine. I will say for me, Kingoroot worked and kingroot did not. YMMV

Yes I was able to follow the links and downgrade and unlock the bootloader and root and install a custom rom.

Question ROM flashing in TMO LE2127

Hello guys, I just got this phone upgrading from my OP5T and I used to flash roms and kernels with TWRP, I see things have changed and I would not like to destroy my phone. I have always liked

trying new roms and messing with my phone, would really like to be able to flash Nameless or PE. I have seen that if you get the TMobile variant things get a little tricky with firmwares and phone versions. I got my SIM unlocked and I already have my unlock file to unlock my bootloader. Havent done that because I dont really know if my ROM flash would work.
Do I need to unlock my bootloader?
Can I already flash my ROM files directly from adb or do I need to convert my phone to EU with TSM?
I have seen that people mess with modules that I need to backup, is this only needeed to convert to EU version or would I need this for Nameless
?
Do I flash firmwares via fastboot/adb or do they come with local updates? Which I do not have because of TMO.
I have already asked a couple questions in the forum but I need to clarify myself with ROM flashing and prerequerisites with my 2127 version. I would really appreciate some help about this, Ive never tried getting help from forums and looks like this phone community is pretty active.

No, just make sure you follow every step in sequence. Read the instructions a couple times to make sure you fully understand everything. Like are you suppose to be on Android 11 or 12 as an example.
