Crash and Bootloop on n7100 - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
first, sorry for my english
*
I was on the rom Omni4.4.2 I wanted enabled ART instead of dalvik cache, which was a big mistake.
Since then I have tried reinstalling a rom Stock but my phone is always freeze during boot on the Samsung logo is when I get the PIN code.
I made all possible wipes but always the same.
I tried Omnirom, stock rom, cyanogen...
Someone would have an idea where I finally bricked my phone?
*
Thank you in advance.

anyone?

I don't believe that ART could give you such issues.I think it's a problem with your phone's memory blocks, probably it's touched bad memory blocks affected by known EMMC bug,and that's why it's freezing.

Issues with Custom Rom

Hey everyone,
I used to use an HTC Sensation, and I recently replaced it with a Note 2 but I never came across this problem.
Every time I try to install a custom rom, I'm somehow stuck in the middle of nowhere, and my phone doesn't move past the 'Samsung Galaxy Note 2'-screen. I thought it may be related to the rom but that was apparently not the problem (i tried OMEGA and MIUI), as it is apparently working fine on other Korean devices.
So I was wondering if someone knows how to get rid of this issue.
The way I flash the rom is as follows:
- Enter recovery
- Factory reset/reset data
- Flash rom
- reboot
I even did a factory reset after flashing a rom, but that doesn't help either. I also tried both storage, the external SD card and the internal storage t.
Thank you

[Q] Need help 4.4.2 lag problem

Hi all,
I have issues on EVERY 4.4.2 Kitkat Rom. The problem is it is very lagging and delay on my 4.4.2 device.
When I tried to turn on WI-FI it delayed like 5-6 seconds before it turned on and also when changing language on keyboard.
Opening app is also slow. And sometimes turning on the phone from sleeping takes like 5-8 seconds before screen appears. I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with my phone. Has anyone faced this problem? How can i fix this.
I have tried to flash 4.2.2 firmware and install 4.2.2 again like 10 times , wipe data/ cache/ davik cache/ format system etc. everything but the problem persists or is it a hardware problem?
-I'm using GT-I9082L device
-I flashed I9082LDCUBMK3_I9082LTHWBMK2_THW.ZIP (I9082LVJUBMK2_I9082LZTOBMK2_I9082LUBUBMK1_HOME.tar.md5) before installed ROM
-4apps from google play are installed on my device
-I have tried to change 4.2.2 Rom (CM11, Carbon, Probam, RR, etc) but problem persists
Ps. sorry for not very good English
Thank you

Getting bootloops after rebooting for being laggy

Hi all, I would like to have some feedback if some of you is experiencing the same issue as I am. My N5X is running Stock Marshmallow (latest release) and it's rooted (SuperSU v2.71) with Xposed (latest version for arm64).
Every now and then (usually with an uptime more than 80 hours) the device becomes very laggy and my usual solution for eliminating the lag is rebooting. It would be the ideal solution if only the device wasn't remaining stuck in bootloop after rebooting.
For now the only "solution" I have found is doing a factory reset from TWRP, after performing a backup of /data. Uninstalling from recovery Xposed or simply wiping cache/dalvik or even flashing separately the stock images (boot, cache, system, vendor) did nothing without a factory reset.
The first times I got bootloops on the device I knew why it was happening (one time I modified build.prop forgetting to change the permissions, another time a similar thing but with the transfer of an app in /system), but these kinds of bootloop remain a mistery for me.
It also occurred without Xposed installed and with both stock and ElementalX kernel.
A peculiar thing I noticed while in TWRP is that the Cache was displayed occupying 0 MB. Might it be related to this issue?
Now, I know now that I should probably reboot more often, but I still would like to know why this happens because it's being very annoying doing the restore procedure every damn week.
And so, while doing my research, I wanted to have some feedback from those of you who had similar issues with a similar setup.
Thanks and cheers!
A new kind of problem occurred. This time Telegram wasn't connecting to the net and so I rebooted. And BOOM, stuck at the boot animation (the four colored points) for no apparent reason.
If I only wiped Dalvik and Cache in recovery, the phone would go past the boot animation, but after the Android logo, it would display only a black screen.
This time, before doing a factory reset, I flashed via fastboot boot, cache, system and vendor, hoping that could solve something for the future.
I have no idea why this is happening. After the new reset, I will try to limit the modifications to /system by not installing Stericson's Busybox and GSam Root Companion app, but I'm still wandering in the dark. It looks like my 5X is possessed.
Please, if you have any sort of feedback or insight, I will gladly listen.
Update: today I had no issues but I rebooted anyway. Result: stuck at bootanimation.
As you English speakers say:"F*ck this sh*t, I'm out".
Yeah, I decided that I'm done with the stock ROM and decided to flash PureNexus ROM in the hope that the **** up I was doing with the stock ROM will never happen again.
Maybe now the mods can close this thread.

Please help me, my phone is dead

Guys, I have a big problem on my Xperia M, maybe you could help. I was using my cell normally when several apps has stopped, Google Play services also stopped and restarted the phone. When it started again, the phone asked for a password to decrypt the internal storage, but i do not. I tried in every way, tried to wipe data, cache, everything. Nothing worked. I tried to change the recovery, but without success. The recovery that is running is the TWRP 2.8. Please if anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it!
Edit: I forget to specify my current ROM, is OMS + AOSP 6.0 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m/orig-development/rom-android-source-project-t3379340)
Ur device got "Ebola", change mother to solve that problm

Auto rotate doesn't work

Hi All, my redmi 5a auto rotate doesn't work, I don't know why but I've experienced a tragedy that maybe connected with this problem.
I use AOSP Extended ROM for Rolex in my Redmi 5A Device, as long as I use it I don't have any problem, but yesterday I've tried to restore my kernel into this ROM Stock Kernel ( I Use Direwolf Unified Before, Many Times I Try Other Kernel Also But And Never Had Such A Tragedy) After I Restored the original kernel, then I wipe my dalvik and cache as usual, BUT, Suddenly The Boot animation Stucked before it show's the AEX Logo, So I Think It Was A Bootloop Simple Problem, Than I Reinstalled My AOSP Extended OS, Than Something Happened, Even Since The First Boot It's Stucked At The Same Point, Than I Tried To Re-flash it again, and after that it still like that, so I was thinking that my External Memory Data Was Corrupted, So I Tried To Copy The File Directly From My PC To My USB OTG (I copied same AOSP ROM) than I reflash it but it still like before, than i start thinking if this ROM file (in my PC and SD card) is corrupted, so I tried to install PE ROM, But The Result Is Still Same As Before, Stucked At Boot Animation Than Forced Shutdown.
Well after that I think my device is get a serious problem such as hard brick or soft brick, than I tried to do clean flash to MIUI 10 Fastboot ROM With My PC, BUT the time elapsed is more long than usually (About 20 minute) waiting for booting and finally my device is normal, so I immediately install TWRP Custom Recovery (3.2.3-1 by FenFern) And Installing AOSP ROM Again (I Swear I Love This ROM) Everything seems normal no problem, restoring app, rooting, personalization, and etc.
Well the problem with auto rotate is coming when I see some funny videos on YouTube, my devices ONLY CAN ROTATE TO THE LEFT, AND CAN'T ROTATE AUTOMATICALLY AND CAN'T ROTATE TO THE RIGHT SIDE, I tried many game's app and watching some anime's in video player, Even If I Switch to auto rotate mode.
