hi today morning something strange happened to my N7100!
it was running on stock 4.3 (Rooted + Philz recovery) when suddenly i woke up with the sound of Samsung Boot sound looks like the phone rebooted it self!
the phone was working ok i left it in my room!
And after a few minutes i returned noticed that the phone is Not Responding to any thing (PowerButton , Charger Plugged in , nothing) after a few times Unplugging the battery the phone Wakes up but stucks at the Samsung boot logo after the gt-n7100 screen (the blue notification light was on) but no automatic restart. i decided to flash a fresh Rom With odin i Flashed again the phone stuck at the Samsung boot screen! i tried to Run a Data and Cache Wipe When suddenly I noticed this error : Error mounting /efs Whats wrong ? iS my n7100 dead ?
(Next thing i noticed is that the Samsung boot animation sound is not playing Completely it just stops before the animation ends. just like you mute the sound in the middle of the animation! and then stucks at samsung )
Edit : LOL i mean Official 4.3

I have a Sprint GS3 with CWM 10.2.1 nightly that was installed
I was at work today when I noticed the phone restart and come back up to the boot screen, it stayed there for a good 5 minutes so I tried restarting it, same thing happened
I am able to get into download mode and CWM recovery mode
I put the phone in download mode and flashed the stock ROM via Odin. Odin showed PASS, but the phone had multiple errors in a wall of red text. Most were ERROR mounting
Now it boots into the Samsung logo and freezes there. Is there a way to fix this?
Hi I installed this ROM from this thread yesterday
It worked great for a day. Today, I ran out of battery, since then, m unable to start my phone. It just starts and gets stuck in the"SONY" logo screen. I m unable to enter Flash mode also. The phone doesn't vibrate also while starting up.
Work done from my side for countering this problem and the result
1. Maybe it could be because of insufficient battery - Charged the phone for half an hour but the phone is stuck at "SONY" Screen
2. Tried entering CWM recovery mode- Recovery mode doesn't start at all, again, stuck at "SONY" Screen
3. Tried connecting it to PC in flash mode- The phones gets on charge with red LED, doesn't enter flash mode at all
4. Charged the phone for 9hrs - The LED doesn't change to green at all. Even after overnight charging, It's showing red
Please Please Please help!!!!
I'm having problems getting my phone past the bootup screen. It first loads the logo then goes to the animated logo then the rethink possible animation and then finally gets stuck on the glowing samsung logo. It then shuts off and redoes the loop a couple of times until it stops with the battery charge up screen and freezes there until I remove the battery.
History: Purchased an att phone for the mb to replace my original phones because it had the insane chip. Had to root it to be able to unlock the phone with my carrier(telus). Since I was in it I flash the DN4 custom rom and everything needed into the phone. The phone functioned fine for about a month and then frequent freezes and restarts started happening. Near the end, the phone was stuck in a boot loop, loading into the DN4 animation boot screen then shutting itself off then on again to endlessly repeat the loop.
Present: At first I was able to get into TWRP and tried some things in there but nothing happened. When there I notice it stated "internal memory 0"-not sure if this means anything.
I was able to flash the saved recovery file from TWRP. Once I did that I could no longer go in TWRP and now have to use the samsung install/recovery.
I have since flashed the stock rom several times with odin and also wiped data/factory reset many times still does the same in bootup. Tried flashing TWRP into phone using odin 3.07 but failed.
What should be my next move? Pretty new at this so I may be missing something very simple or perhaps a dead phone???
Finally got the phone to boot up and run fine. It seems everything was good except the battery was acting up.
Next step is to get the battery to charge when phone is off.
I'll post this question in new thread.
hi my sons s4 was working fine yesterday, he got up this morning and tried to turn his phone on, but it keeps rebooting over and over
i have tried to get it into recovery to wipe everything but that flashes up top left in blue "recovery mode" and then goes back to the boot loop
i have downloaded the right firmware for this model and booted into download mode fine, and re flashed in odin everything a success.
phone reboots and goes back into boot loop
nothing has been messed with or modified its stock, is there any way to fix this or will it have to go back to samsung ?
thanks
Hello dear friends.I have a really boring problem about my phone. It has been installed a Cyanogenmod 11 on the phone for about a year. And suddenly it started to restart itself.Once it starts it always continues to do that like a boot loop.Anyway
-I tried to wipe dalvik and the cache. And it worked for one day. Then it started to do it again. So i tried to format the rom from philz recovery. It didnt work.
-Sometimes it restarts after i enter the pin code.So i tried to remove it.But the problems occurs anyway.
-I had a backup and i restored it.Although i restored the rom it continued to restart.
-Finally i downloaded an original samsung rom and flashed it by odin. But nothing changes.
first screen appears, then a samsung boot screen comes by a sound tone and samsung emblem shows itself. Then it restarts. So it goes to a bootloop.Alway goes between the first screen and samsung boot screen.I never see pin code entry screen. What do you think for the problem?Might it be a hardware problem?
Did you perform a factory reset using stock recovery before booting the phone for the first time after flashing stock?
Tried starting with and without being connected to a charger?
Samsung note 2 n7100 stopped at logo , when I install wrong recovery .img by flashify and the device unconnected to odin
