{Request} how to chane the google play logo in the status bar to beats logo ?

Hello... Can help how to put the "beats" logo in the notification bar ? It looks better then the usual headphone logo.
BTW i want it for Google play

I think it is better to modify the title of your thread as something like "[REQUEST] Beats Audio icon for Play Music" so at least anyone interested in helping may read your thread
tristan202 method is very reasonable and he deserves a "Thanks" from you. I think that you should help others first by including the "beats" images so someone can use them to modify the play music apk for you

I installed and tried it on my GNex so check the following screenshot whether this suits you so I send you the modified apk afterwards or maybe you rather the solution of the previous person.

Do you mind pointing me to the file/files you have to replace inside the apk? Couldn't seem to figure out where they're located. Want to try a sennheiser logo.

That was my first time to do such a thing so I still have the source of information So the long answer is to check this webpage
Short answer: replace the "stat_notify_musicplayer.png" in every directory that has the words "drawable" and "v11" for hdpi, mdpi, etc...
I use Ubuntu Linux so this software has done the job of decompiling, compiling, and signing the APK perfectly fine in case you need it

Yes GNex uses xhdpi
According to this source:
To provide support for all Android versions, developers should:

SociaLife on Play Store [NOT WORKING YET]

So, guys, I was looking at Play Store and found that SociaLife is there. I was able to download it and install on the leaked FW from Sony. The app opens, and say it is getting some data. Then, for some reason, it says there's an unknown mistake and the app closes.

Doesn't seem so, because while it was showing the Loading Info thing, it was showing in the backgroud the app, and it was with the Phone layout, just like the Xperia Z review from GSMArena. Sadly I can't go past that. I'm not sure if it is because I'm from Brazil. I need someone from Europe (Nordic, if possible), to test for us.

It isn't for them only. Z is getting it. the main problem would be setting up the app. And if it were for Tabs only, why I can download it and it opens with Phone layout? It is a server problem.

No. It's for Xperia phones with jelly bean. I extracted the APK from a Xperia Z and installed it on my Ion but failed. Tried installing on a V with jelly bean and it worked.

Someone succeed ,he said "Change the ro.product.model=LT25I to ro.product.model=C6603".

Maybe you can't post because you are missing some of the various socialife.apk (its not only one) in the system/apps/ according to my friend who has an Xperia Z.

Is there any other lib, framework,permission file required also?
Installed it on my x10.
Its working, accepted all my accounts but after refreshing there is nothing on my feed.
Not even a single post in 3 account.
Any other file dependency?

Touchwiz 4.2.2 ROM supports multi users. You just need to follow the instructions here:

adding fw.max_users=8 to build.prop makes it permanent, otherwise you need to run the setprop each time you reboot.

Cool thanks. Has anyone actually tried this though? I tried it on my Cm 10.1 Samsung S3 and it didn't actually work. You can add the users, but the lock screen doesn't give you a way to select them.

It looks like the pm command is not working properly. What happens if you do a pm without any arguments? It should give you the pm help page.
If it still gives you an error try fixing permissions in recovery and see if that helps.

It may just be that the tab 2 can't support user profiles, but I would have though you should still be able to set them up, even if the rom doesn't give you the ability to switch between them.

Worked for me but I couldn't tell if this sets up a whole new user folder like in windows, in turn eating the limited 16gb we have. I want to reinstall a bunch of apps I already have for my kids but I don't want them taking up double the disk space. Can anyone expand on this? Damn you Google for taking away app2sd

Yes, it sets up a whole new user folder, and eats up some space, but apps istalled for multiple users do not take up double the disk space. The application data is only downloaded once, but the user data takes up space for each user.
/data/app is shared between users. (where the application is)
/data/media/obb is shared between users. (where the extra application resources are for games, etc)
The only problem is if apps download extra data to /data/media/0 (primary account), or data/media/10, etc.. (secondary accounts). It would be worth watching out for those and avoiding them, but it will not happen with well behaved apps.

Thank you. The apk provided in the Thread isn't supposed to work with the new One. I haven't released the new apk yet, since I would like it to be tested before I release it with "one m8 support".
I will contact you once I am back home with a link to the "real" app for testing.

I've attached the log found on the storage space. I've used this before on my nexus 5 with no issues. I follow normal procedure and choose the icon style. Apply the icons. Device restarts, but no change applied.

I can see that all changes done to the system seem to vanish after a reboot. Are you sure that there are rw permissions to the system?
I can also see that busybox is definatly not working correctly.

wifi issues?
I install busy box like it asks then apply what buttons i want inside softkeyz it restarts my phone but it also effects my wifi it constantly says "turning wifi on" can you help me with the at all please? Using a htc one m8 on verizon

Just a quick FYI, system changes don't take effect because it's not writable, you need to be S-off or have the kernel module that allows the system to be written while booted. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2702575

do you have stock backup of m8 softkeys? i did not backup the original in softkeyz and need them back. Keys available in-app softkeyz has the wrong search key. thats the reason i am asking.

Same here. I tried wiping data, cache, uninstall, etc, but won't work. Funny thing is that it opens up just fine in bg while showing a message about how it can't work.

Seems like the same with Hangouts... No other issues yet. I did get the same error messages with Play Store at first, but after an update and sign-in it was fixed. Not sure if that might fix the others also, since I don't use YT or Hangouts. Maybe signing in will help.

Not to step on your theme bro, but using layers the end user doesn't have to worry about updates, incompatibility and they have the ability to easily revert.
