Installing new fonts. ..

I try to install a new font with Rom toolbox and when restart the phone, he stop. What can be? Anyone have this before?

Try using ifont its avail. in play store 4 free i hav no xp wid rom toolbox :/

What rom I've had that problem on any stock based rom I've tried it on. But successes with all the custom roms

Hello, i have Rom Toolbox Pro and when i tried to install new font, my Galaxy Note (stock ICS 4.0.4) has blocked and i had to take out the battery in order for it to force turn off. After turn it on, it remains blocked on Samsung logo screen. Now i must wipe/format data to resolve the problem. I will send a mail to Rom Toolbox with this problem. Has anyone got any ideeas?

only some of the fonts work.. anyone please post the tried and working fonts of rom toolbox please.. sony sketch is confirmed working.. cursive doesn't work

COMIC font works... confirmed on cm9.
Italic fonts such as DROID SANS ITALIC doesn't work.. its makes the device unstable and gets stuck on boot animation...

if having a lot of problems with rom tool box fonts Can always do what i do to install using you home replasement applications settings or do it throught to system files..... just find your font build props..... rom tool boxs previews has to store somewhere it of course wont old files inside its self so just get a file exlorer.... like root explorer or in my opinoin the best (sorrry) x plorer and just pull the fonts fonts romtoolbox file and do as wish it is a much easier way i think

just removing font file from rom toolbox pro and pasting in system with correct file permission doesn't seem to work..

Hum..... I Have it on akop right know and they all work that I've tried I've also used with p.a ROM cm9 cm10 with no problems. Never had any problems are I pro our regular toolbox

Just use font installer from the market. Its free and confirmed it worked even with my custom fonts.

[Q] Instagram Compatability

I freshly installed CM10 again after I used for quite a while. When I was re-installing my apps, it said Instagram version 3.4.0 is not compatible with our Wonders. Why is that? Thanks :laugh:

Try installing it from the market, I just checked and it is compatible. What Rom did you come from? If it is a Rom from another android version then restoring won't go well for all apps

[Q] Newbie questions

Hi,
I'm really new to this whole Android phone thing. I understand almost nothing, including different abbreviations (like cm, what does that stand for?)
So I apologize if I'm asking something that's already written in some newbie guide, I'd love it if someone could refer me to such a guide.
I have some newbie questions:
I've bought a new S4 mini, and I want to install Cyanogen, but I could only find Nightly or RC versions of it, is there a stable version somewhere?
Do I need to install CWM? Or is there another way to root my device without having to install CWM? I want to install as less applications as possible. Unless you guys tell me that installing CWM is a good idea.

You need CWM (aka CWMR for ClockWork Mod Recovery) to flash CM (CyanogenMod, sometimes Cyanogen for short), which currently only has nightlies and RCs for the S4 Mini LTE model only.
The model number for the LTE variant is GT-I9195.
There is also a test release for the international 3G variant (GT-I9190).
There is none for the Dual-sim variant, GT-I9192.

Thanks a lot! Is the RC version of cm "safe"? I don't want to start dealing with dev issues, I just want a comfortable phone to use.
Maybe it's better to install the debloat rom instead of an unstable cm version?

The debloated rom has its fair share of issues. It's a matter of personal preference actually.
I prefer having CM and it's working fine for me on the latest nightly. No pressing issues.

So if I just want to remove unneeded apps (which are consuming CPU / RAM) then maybe the best option for me is to just root my device and remove any app I don't want?
Oh and another question: in a different thread someone recommended wiping /data and /cache, how do I do this? By using ClockworkMod?

Yes and yes.
Removing unneeded apps is also known as debloating. Those unneeded apps are known as bloat ware.
There are explicit options within CWM to wipe data and cache.

I'm newbie in Samsung too, also want to ask which one CWM for stock kernel/Rom? I'm using S4 Mini LTE (GT-I9195). Thanks in Advanced.

That is truly odd. I have no issues with downloading Candy Crush Saga on my phone here in Singapore.
Perhaps its a region lock?

So, my phone is perfectly rooted with CWM latest version installed. The problem is that whenever I try to install any ROM ( I tried Resurrection Remix and Carbon ROM) the icons are very blurry.
This is the problem with all the ROMs except ProBam ROM which I am currently using.
Any idea what might be causing the trouble and any solutions?

post any Screenshot...to understand the prob...

I have a scrrenshot of RR app drawer. It is still ok but you can see many pixelated icons. It is even worse on Carbon ROM.

its due to dpi since its set to 180dpi its blurry...Just download build.prop editor and change lcd density value from 180 to 240 and reboot it will be fine...

So i have to download it after I flashed the ROM?

Cant change wallpaper (Stock russia 4.4 Rom)

Hi guys ive got a s4 mini duos last week i updated it to 4.4 russia rom and rooted. Now i cant change wallpaper for stock touchwiz or nova launcher ! Icant change it using quickpick wallpaper or novawallpaper. The only option thats working is default "wallpaper" app which is for samsung and has like 5 pics to choose from. So my wallpaper is stuck at a blue on
It worked a few days ago now its not working..
Any idea ? Thanks in advance

Known issue. Fixed in new H1 India version. Or wait till Samsung will release a fixed version for Russia

Im not from russia so i just flash latest rom from sammobile with odin and done ?
No need to backup any thing ?
